Romance / Re: Disadvantages Of Sex Before Marriage (must Read For All Youth) by AllBusiness(m): 4:36am On Jan 11, 2015
Samwell247:
Sex is everywhere. It permeates
television shows, the Internet, and
magazines.
Even children’s movies often
have thinly veiled sexual overtones.

Today, society’s carefree thinking on sex
out of wedlock is simply, “Why not?”
Believing that “most are doing it
anyway,”

Most people say we're in
the 21st century and that's now legal, but 99% of
things that are legal are not right.

Is this a bad thing? Most say no. To
support this position, some cite the well-
documented health benefits of being
sexually active.

some even say ""does sex belong only inside a
marriage relationship""? What is wrong
with reaping all the physical benefits of
sex outside of wedlock so long as one is
“smart” about it?

hmmmm but I tell u, there are dangers for the
sexually active person: transmission of
diseases, unwanted pregnancies, and
potential emotional scarring from a
promiscuous lifestyle of multiple
partners.

see our generation where teenage pregnancies are
rampant.
you meet young people “where
they are” and talk openly about sex.
Educators hope to arm teens with
enough information to dispel the
mystery of sex so they can “decide when
they are ready” to lose their virginity.

“One of the things young people say a lot
is that the sex education they get is
virtually meaningless, it’s too biological
and doesn’t relate to how they are
feeling.

Essentially, parents have concluded
they are no longer able to stop children
from having sex. The best they can hope
to do is teach them about it.

sexually transmitted diseases
have reached an unprecedented level.

Even the “safest”
sex can result in unintended pregnancies
This can lead to the tragic decision
to end the unborn child’s life through
abortion, something a woman will carry
for the rest of her life.

If the couple decides to go ahead with
the pregnancy, children of unmarried
parents are often susceptible to a host of
physical and emotional problems.

children born to women who
did not intend to get pregnant have been
found to have lower birthweight, poorer
mental and physical health, lower
educational attainment, and more
behavioral problems than do children
whose births were intended.”

Men and women who are products of
broken homes often have children out of
wedlock as well, which leads to a vicious,
multigenerational cycle of unhappiness.

Couples who wait enjoy
significantly more benefits than those
who had sex earlier..

A healthy, happy marital relationship
produces similar relationships in the
lives of children who come from them. In
short, happy couples produce happy
children.

It is a parent’s job to proactively teach
about sex. Yet parents have to compete
with what their children learn from this
world’s “sexperts”—the hyper sexualized
media, permissive sexual education at
school, misguided how-to websites—as
well as their peers.

While these sources
may supply some correct information
about purely physical aspects, the
majority of what they teach includes
much error. Add to this the pull on
young people to learn by their own
experiences, which can be painful.

Because of these factors, many parents,
who do not truly understand the purpose
of sex, are perfectly happy to outsource
the difficult job.

On the other hand, well-meaning parents
who seek to discourage premarital sex
might simply say: “Because I said so!” or
even, “Because God said it’s a sin!”
Others, feeling it is inevitable that their
child will have sex, may hand their son
or daughter a condom and tell them to
“be safe.”

In both scenarios, parents merely pass
along what they feel is right or what
others have told them—without ever
proving the truth for themselves.

By comiting to premarital sex you risk.....

1. The risk of disobeying God and letting Satan
get a foothold

The Bible, time after time tells us to flee sexual
sins. Why? Because it is a major strategy of the
devil to sabotage God's work on Earth.

2. The risk of shame

Premarital sex imputes a spiritual state of shame
that becomes a major weapon of Satan. God
forgives you, but you will still face the fruit of the
sin and you'll still be vulnerable to Satan's
whispering accusations on your worth as a
person and your value as an active individual.

3. The risk of sexual dysfunction

People spend millions of dollars to correct sexual
dysfunction through drugs and psychotherapy.
Why? Because they entered marriage with
unresolved sexual issues. For example, a man
may think that he will be free from the curse of
pornography once he gets married, only to find
that the problems are even more noticeable and
controlling.

4. The risk of placing your future children in
spiritual harm's way

The Bible clearly speaks of
the concept of generational sin. What you sow
(plant) spiritually may be reaped in the life of
your children. Break the power of Satan's curse.
Remain pure before God and you'll be
tenaciously guarding the future of the next
generation.
,
5. The risk of depression

Those who participate in premarital sex
experience emotional damage that may lead to
an increased chance of mental depression and
emotional despair.

6. The risk of permanently damaging your
testimony as a Christian or Muslim

You'll never be able to honestly say, "I was a
virgin before I was married." You'll never be able
to live as an example of committed purity.

7. The risk of damaging the destiny of your
future marriage
There is no way that premarital sex of any kind
could be a plus for your future marriage. It only
causes suspicion, mistrust, and regret.

8.. Risks of incurable disease

Imagine that you have found that one special
person with whom you want to share your life.

And now you are forced to break the news that
you have an incurable disease.
Even though such
diseases like herpes are generally not considered
life threatening, there are no cures.
Not only is it
incurable, it fills a life with worries, awkward
revelations, and continuous need for medication.
Herpes and other STD's are everywhere.

Why risk contracting an STD?

9. The risk of lost relationships

When you choose to develop a sexual
relationship with someone, you have immediately
changed the entire definition of the relationship.

God's intent was for a man and woman to enjoy
sex throughout the course of a lifetime. There is
no such thing as casual sex.
Once you have
developed a sexual relationship, that relationship
turns a critical corner. After the relationship
ends, you and your partner will experience the
guilt and pain of promises broken.

10. The risk of death
No one can deny that having sex before marriage
can have grave consequences.
disease like AIDS and its likes kills its victims.

The choice is yours...

ADVANTAGES OF SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE

We have said that leadership involves making good decisions. One of the most important decisions many young people face today is whether to wait until marriage to engage in sex or to go ahead before marriage. This is a major decision in how to lead one's life and should be considered very carefully.

Many media messages seem to tell us there is nothing unusual or wrong with having sex without marriage. People in movies and on TV do it all the time. However, because they are not really doing it, there are rarely any consequences shown on the screen—like diseases, unwanted pregnancies, or regrets for having engaged in sex. The reality of people's lives who are having sex without marriage is a very different story.

(1) Sex before marriage creates strong emotional bonds

(2) Sex before marriage can make us believe a relationship is deeper than it really is

(3) Sex before marriage takes you to prolong a very powerful feelings that nevertheless fade.

(4) Sex before marriage sexual experience gained will help us to have better sex in our eventual marriage.

(5) Sex is simply a physical need, like eating or sleeping, and there is nothing wrong with satisfying this need.

(6) Sexual problems like premature ejaculation, inability to get an erection, or even an allergy to your partner's semen are all possibilities, wouldn't you rather deal with those issues before you're married? This way you know if the person is even going to deal with them.

(7) Don't you want to know if your husband is packing a hunting rifle or a tiny little plastic kid's pistol? After all, he knows how big your boobs are. I'm not saying size would be a dealbreaker, but don't you have the right to know what's down there?

(.8.) Not everyone is great in bed, and most people don't start out very good at all. A lot of good sex is about listening to your partner and being able to respond accordingly. But how do you know if someone is a good listener or responder unless you try it first?

(9) I know too many couples where one partner was able to cover up his or her true sexual persuasion because he or she simply didn't have sex with a partner. Not having sex with the opposite sex can also mean you ignore those longings you might have for the same sex, and therefore don't acknowlege them.

(10) Sex before marriage plays a big role in a relationship. There is no evidence that the couple are more likely to NOT divorce or be happy after marriage after starving themselves of sex in the name of Sex after marriage .

Hazard is just 23 , and he's already receiving accolades and nominations from different angles.

Right Now , This Season in England , there's no player that's currently playing better than Hazard... In fact there's no defender that can mark him. You can check the stats. Hazard has been the most fouled player so far in the whole of Europe , Hazard has 88% Pass accuracy. Hazard has created more chances than Messi , ronaldo and neymar.

Th only aspect he needs to work more on is Goal scoring and finishing ability... Overall , he's one of the brightest stars of Europe.

His net worth should be about £120million.... The Third most valuable player in the world

*NEVER, I'm not going to vote for a grown up man who took advice from a 17year old girl (Pakistan little girl) before he could make his own decision.

*NEVER, I'm not going to vote for a black commander of Army who brought white marine soldiers to do his job for him and yet nothing was done.

*NEVER, I'm not going to vote for a government who could not provide job for my elder sister/brother who has a Master Degree.

*NEVER, I'm not going to vote for a man that Boko Haram are killing his own people everyday and has no plan on how to stop the killing but can’t wait a minute when military took over power in Burkina Faso, he went there to stop the killing over there in Burkina Faso but could not stop the killing in his own country.

*Finally, I'm not going to vote for anybody who needs One Billion American Dollar to solve an Insurgency (Boko Haram) while the ordinary man on the street don't even have (#100) hundred naira to eat. You can scold me for speaking the truth, don't forget the truth is bitter. All we need is CHANGE and nothing else…. Sports / Manchester United Sign Victor Valdes From Barcelona by AllBusiness(m): 7:39pm On Jan 08, 2015
Manchester United is delighted to announce that Victor Valdes has signed an 18-month contract with the option to extend for a further year.

Valdes, 32, came through the ranks of the FC Barcelona youth system, making his senior debut in 2002. He went on to win 21 major titles in La Liga. The Spanish international has 20 caps for his national team.

Victor Valdes said: "It is a real honour to sign for Manchester United. I would like to thank Louis van Gaal and the club for allowing me to do my rehabilitation and to train with the team at the Aon Training Complex. From my short time here I can already see this is a very special club. I worked with Louis van Gaal during my time at FC Barcelona and to have the opportunity to work with him here at Manchester United is a dream come true."

Louis van Gaal said: "I am delighted Victor has signed for the club. Victor is a very experienced goalkeeper and his record speaks for itself. I have said on many occasions that Manchester United will always be interested in the best players. Victor has remained very professional throughout his rehabilitation from injury and has been very impressive during his training sessions with the first team over the past weeks. He joins the club as the number two goalkeeper and is a great addition to the first team."

Sports / FA Charged Jose Mourinho For Misconduct by AllBusiness(m): 7:21pm On Jan 08, 2015
ose Mourinho: Chelsea boss charged with misconduct

Jose Mourinho has been charged by the Football Association for claiming there is a "campaign" to influence referees' decisions against his Chelsea side.

Mourinho made his comments after his side were denied a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Southampton on 28 December.
Referee Anthony Taylor booked Cesc Fabregas for diving after going down in the box under Matt Targett's challenge.

Mourinho has been charged with misconduct and has until 18:00 GMT on 13 January to respond to the charge.

"It is alleged his remarks constitute improper conduct in that they allege and/or imply bias on the part of a referee or referees and/or bring the game into disrepute," read an FA statement.

Chelsea subsequently announced that Mourinho would not attend Friday's news conference ahead of the weekend meeting with Newcastle.

After the draw at St Mary's, the Stamford Bridge manager told BBC Sport: "The media, commentators, other managers are all doing it [putting pressure on referees]."

In his news conference later, he added: "There is a campaign against Chelsea. I don't know why there is this campaign and I do not care.

"Everybody knows it was a penalty."

Mourinho has also been issued with a formal warning for comments ahead of Chelsea's 2-0 win at Stoke on 22 December.

The Portuguese called on referee Neil Swarbrick to produce a strong performance at the Britannia Stadium.

"Having sought his observations on this matter, the FA has decided not to bring a disciplinary charge and instead issued him with a formal warning," added the statement.

"The FA prohibit participants from making any pre-match media comments, including comments of a positive nature concerning the appointed match officials for a particular fixture."

Politics / South East Gained Nothing From Jonathan – APGA Chairman by AllBusiness(m): 4:24pm On Jan 08, 2015
The Chairman, All Progressive Grand Alliance, Lagos State, Mr. Campbell Umeh-Nzekwe, in this interview with ENIOLA AKINKUOTU, speaks about next month’s general elections

Has your party adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as its presidential candidate like it did in 2011?

We supported him in 2011 and that was how we were able to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-East because we learnt our lesson from the Olusegun Obasanjo administration when we won all the elections in the South-East but there was some hanky-panky in Abuja and the powers that be declared that we did not win anywhere. Even former governor Peter Obi’s mandate was snatched and given to Senator Chris Nigige, who was in the PDP then until the court returned our mandate. So, we do not want to fight the Presidency again. We are supporting him not because he has done anything meaningful for the South-East. There is no national project in the South-East today. The only one is the Second Niger Bridge which is being built with our own money because we will pay toll. That is the truth. In fact, I challenge anybody to point to a project that Jonathan has done in the region. Even the so-called Onitsha seaport was a dummy. The airport in Enugu was only renovated and tagged an international airport. How many foreign airlines ply the route?

But now that you say your party is supporting Jonathan, does it mean that the PDP will concede the entire South-East to APGA?

That was the deal we made with him because we had told him from the outset that if he continues to fight APGA, APGA would fight the state PDP and definitely, the APC would take advantage of the situation but if the PDP and APGA have a common agenda that every governorship, House of Representatives and senatorial position in the South-East should go to APGA, then on the presidential level, we would all vote for the PDP. That was the original plan but our brothers in the South-East who are in the PDP are refusing to cooperate with us. They are playing hide-and-seek and are deceiving Jonathan in Abuja that they will win. That is why you can see Peter Obi who resigned as Chairman of the APGA Board of Trustees run to Abuja to become the Deputy Director General of the presidential campaign. This was a governor who never helped APGA win a single senatorial seat in his eight years in power. So, I don’t know the value he will add to Jonathan’s campaign. And I don’t know any election that the Director General of the presidential campaign team, Ahmadu Ali, has won. So, Jonathan is fixing a square peg in a round hole.

Has Ndi Igbo also picked Jonathan as their candidate?

The Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo group is in a dilemma now. In 2011, they automatically picked Jonathan but this time around, they never thought things would be like this but now the game has changed and they are still strategising to see who they will pick but the reality on the ground today favours Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. It is only a blind man that will think otherwise.

Why do you say so?

The game has changed. As it is, Jonathan has no chance of winning. Buhari seems to have taken over. The PDP has collapsed in the North if you care to know. All those who are running to Aso Rock and making promises to the President are just deceiving him. Jonathan is a sitting President with incumbency factor in his favour but Buhari has the masses and a cult following in the North. In 2011, Buhari won 12 million votes in the North with his ragtag party, the Congress for Progressive Change, without a single governor or senator to campaign for him. Today, his party, the APC, has 14 governors, 43 senators and 176 Reps as well as 625 House of Assembly members. Also, the APC has dominant control of the North-West with a total number of 18.4 million voters and North-East with 10.2 million while South-West has 13.4 million voters. The North sees Buhari as their saviour because they see his candidature as an opportunity for the North to return to power. So, I might not be speaking the mind of my people who have not yet come to terms with the reality. The Igbo and my leaders might not like my position but I am a researcher and I am trying to position my people’s mind instead of them moving about without a compass, thinking that it will be business as usual. The reality has changed.

But with what you have said, can APGA even win any election in the South-East?

Presently, we are more organised than before. Those that abandoned APGA and defected to the PDP are just joking. They made the wrong choice because I can tell you that APGA will become the next opposition in Nigeria. In school, we learnt the rise and fall of empires. The PDP empire is falling and no man can stop it. So, that is the position now. The party is not strong in the South-East. It is not even strong in Ijaw land. The party was just a contraption of the military when it (military) was handing over power. The party has no root. Political party is a local business that starts from the grass roots that leads all the way up but the PDP starts from the top and that is an aberration. A party is supposed to start from a zone and then grow. You can see how the Alliance for Democracy evolved into the Action Congress and then Action Congress of Nigeria and has now grown to the national level to merge with the Congress for Progress Change and the All Nigeria Peoples Party with a strong northern background. These are parties with roots and will stand the test of time. The PDP has no root.

But your party is supporting the PDP’s presidential candidate.

My party at the national level still stands by Jonathan but on a personal note, I don’t support his administration in terms of what his government has left undone in the South-East. We have been supporting Jonathan since 2011 but what have we achieved? If Jonathan loses, APGA will rearrange itself. The Igbo received no development apart from a few appointments under Jonathan. We achieved nothing meaningful. We have no refinery in the South-East. The international airport in Enugu was built in 1957 by the colonial masters. It was only renovated recently.

Enugu was the coal city and its coal was meant to generate power but nothing is done there again. The Igbo race has no industrialised economy right now. Our oil import and export is like selling palm kernel at N50 per bunch and then buying a bottle of palm oil at N500. He has no plan to set up a refinery but wants us to be importing till thy kingdom come. There is nothing to show that he has a plan to build a refinery and there is also high unemployment. Obviously he has lost direction and should not be contesting. Nigeria is the sixth largest producer of oil in the world and does not have a single functional refinery. We have the same problem with power generation.

But the power sector has been privatised.

As an engineer I will give you a clear explanation of power. They privatised the distribution of power as well as administration but the problem we have is power generation and if you cannot generate, can you distribute? So, what are they transmitting? They are just playing games with us. The issue is that no country in the world gives generation of power to individual companies. It is being generated by the government all over the world. It is like that in Germany, Brazil and in the United States. It is only transmission of power that is being done by private individuals. So, this government has failed. The power stations, including Kainji and Egbin, were made by the colonial and military governments. In a civilised environment, Jonathan should not be contesting for re-election.

Are you saying that Buhari can do better?

Buhari has shown leadership by example. We don’t need a microscope to see through him. He has shown integrity and discipline. This is a man that retired as Head of State and has no building in Abuja or Lagos. He has only a storey building in Kaduna. He does not give out money to people. So, already, you know he is not corrupt. He has given a sign of where he is going. He is incorruptible. When the head is good, the body will be good but when the head is rotten, the body cannot be good. So, if they say Buhari’s followers are not good, let us wait and give him a chance. It is the head that will drive the rest of the body. He is the one that will be in charge of appointments.

In 2007, Jonathan and former President Yar’Adua met 3,000 megawatts on the ground. In 2014, we are producing only 3,450 megawatts after spending more than $50bn. That is trillions of naira. So Jonathan and Yar’Adua combined could only produce 450 megawatts of electricity. Can we continue with this system?
