Hmmm, I remembered just like yesterday, it was during my second year, PHY208(computational physics).
I could still remember the way I was teaching my colleagues a night before the exam, I was so sure of A in this particular course because I understand it quite well. Exam was scheduled for 8am I thought it was 9am, it was when I got to the school gate that someone told me my colleagues were already in the exam hall, Omo I carry speed from gate reach hall, had to beg before I was allowed to enter. You should concentrate on concept rather than a language.
Technically python is well suited for AI and DataScience.

JavaScript for web Applications and native applications to a large extent.

Both language at a technical level are very demanding.

So quit the idea of picking language and understand your purpose of wanting to learn programming.

This should enable you pick the best language for yourself
