am sure Shaving (though not explicitly stated like your meaning when referenced with the books) is not sinning. however there are afew exceptions, of when the hairs have been dedicated to signify a commitment spiritually...take Samson, Samuel,etc for example, then shaving would be seen as not only sin but a failure to uphold a convenant or commitment.
