Politics / – Sheikh Gumi Said Nigeria Has Been Bribing The Niger Delta People For Years by Almightyperes: 2:34pm On Jun 11, 2016
– He said President Buhari must be careful in the way he is tackling corruption
– The cleric advised Nigerians to come together to dialogue irrespective of political affiliation
Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has said that Goodluck Jonathan should never have been Nigeria’s president but got the position because the country was bribing the Niger Delta.
Sheikh Ahmed Gumi has accused Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky of running a parallel government for 40 years.
In an interview with Daily Trust, the Islamic cleric based in Kaduna said because oil was the life blood of Nigeria, the country had been bribing some people in the region to allow blood to flow. He said part of the pacification was to make Jonathan the vice president and he later emerged as president.
He said: “I saw this re-emergence of Niger Delta militancy coming. This is political. I once said it about a year ago that this problem would come up. Because of the fact that the lifeline of Nigeria’s economy depends on oil, the previous governments were made to be bribing these people for them to allow the oil production to flow. It went to the level as if Nigeria was sharing the oil with them. Obasanjo started that and Yar’adua officialised it.
READ ALSO: Sheikh Gumi highlights Buhari’s errors; profers solutions
“The coming of Jonathan into the centre of power was part of that bribe; otherwise it wouldn’t have been possible for him to become vice president and subsequently president of Nigeria. These are parts of the price which we have to pay to get the oil. If you know that you don’t have enough power to check these people, don’t incite them, because they can cripple your government.
“What the previous governments did was to pacify these people, not because that was the right thing to do. But if Nigeria is sure that it can crush these people, then the steps the government have taken were right. However, we know that Nigeria is fragile and taking these stern measures may destabilise the government.”
Gumi said corruption should not be tackled fiercely and hinted that President Muhammadu Buhari was tackling corruption too hard which is making the menace fight back.

“We should have tackled this issue of corruption gently, because when it fights back, it kills. The people that live on corruption, that is their religion. If you stop it, they would feel that you are strangling them and they fight back to strangle you. You may be surprised to discover the people behind this Niger Delta issue. This is Nigeria’s major problem.
“It is also not good for the government to have many fronts to fight. Fighting many fronts can negatively affect our economy. Look at Saudi Arabia that is having the one-quarter of the oil reserve in the world, because it is fighting in Yemen and other places, it is having economic problems. Therefore, if the Niger Delta problem continues, the government may face more challenges, because these people have a lot of money.
He suggested that the country call for dialogue irrespective of party affiliation and predicted that a time will come when people who want to steal the country’s money will not find money to steal.
READ ALSO: Prominent cleric reveals reasons of Nigeria’s problems
“What the government needs to do is to call for regional dialogue by talking with relevant stakeholders. I think the government should forget about their party or ideologies and share power with these regional stakeholders. What killed corruption in UK and USA, perhaps, was the fact that the citizens cannot even see what to steal. So, let’s be patient, as a time would come when Nigerians who want to steal cannot see what to steal.
FG deploys troops to crush Niger Delta Avengers
“Now that we need stability and the president has the goodwill of Nigerians, bringing these stakeholders would really yield results, because the politicians know that the president has more supporters than them. But if we insist to continue this way, they will sabotage him. The president’s faithful are following him because they want to put bread on their tables. He needs to share the government with these regional stakeholders for him to succeed.
“The last election can justify this argument I am making. Eleven million people were behind what we termed as the most corrupt government, while 15 million were behind change and the fight against corruption. From this you can see that there may be a head-on collision between the people that are supporting corruption, who are the cream of the society, and those that are against corruption. The danger here is those for corruption are the elites with so much influence, while those against are the common people. Therefore, if there is clash, those for corruption may withdraw their services and the country may collapse. Nigerian elites have made corruption to be their religion.

“I think the government has to pacify these people in order to move smoothly and achieve its goals. The president should have adopted the Islamic politics of accommodating enemies. When Jonathan took up his phone and called him to concede defeat, he could have brought him on board.
“Islam accommodates even enemies. When the Prophet (pbuh) conquered Mecca, he freed all his enemies and embraced those that agreed to move with him, and he encouraged dialogue. This is what the president needs to do.”
Politics / Re: Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta Emerges, Demands 60% Oil Bloc by Almightyperes: 8:44pm On Jun 08, 2016
STFUand4kMeHARD:
A new militant group, Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta, has emerged with a threat to continue to attack oil and gas facilities across the Niger Delta region unless the Nigerian government agreed to award 60 per cent oil blocs to the people of the region.

The new group which spoke for the very first time on Wednesday also demanded that the federal government allow the $16 billion Export Processing Zone otherwise called Delta Gas City project begin operations in earnest.

It, however, gave the government a two-week ultimatum to ensure that their demands were adequately met for a lasting ceasefire in the region.

Spokesperson of Ultimate Warrior, as it chose to be addressed, Sibiri Taiowoh, in a statement obtained by our correspondent, said if the FG truly wants peace in the region, it should award 60 per cent oil bloc to indigenous people from the region as its primary demand for a ceasefire.

The group further asked for commencement of academic activities at Federal Maritime University established during the regime of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Warning further, it said failure to meet its demands, would warrant total shutting down of vital oil facilities including Chevron BOP, Okan Platform, MEREN Gas Gathering Compression Platform and Chevron Tank Farm.

The statement added, “We are also behind the recent pipeline bombing in the Niger Delta region and I can assure you we will not stop until the EPZ project and the Maritime University are totally completed and start operations.

“We want to be the ones to be safe guarding oil pipeline in our area so as to create more jobs for our people. We would resist any attempt to give surveillance contracts of pipeline in our backyard to foreigners. We want the pipeline jobs to be given to our indigenous people.”

“We also want 60 per cent of the oil blocs to be allocated to the Niger Deltans just as the Federal Government has also allocated 80 per cent to those who are not from the oil producing area and just as 50 per cent of the resource was used to develop the non-oil area when we were producing cocoa and groundnut as main economic resources, the same 50 percent should be use to develop the Niger Delta region because we are the ones suffering the brunt of oil pollution and degradation in the region”, it further added.

So, with a couple of friends, I went.(male strip club] I did not know what to expect, but We entered the place, and I thought “hey cool, so it’s just like a small restaurant but a little darker and with lots of colorful light, cool, whatever.” But see, it was not the type of club where you pay so much and see so little – it was the type of club where you pay so little and see so much.If you
know what I mean. Then the first pair of strippers went on stage. They were dancing to a cheesy song(and by dancing I mean grinding like they were being
electrocuted slowly). But where are the cages, or harnesses, or firemen costumes? Apparently, as the night deepened, so did the club’s “arsenal”; the better looking ones started to go on stage (oh boy, here we go). And before I knew it, I was sitting beside a live, breathing, handsome, ripped, barely clothed male stripper. He smelled like soap
why ending such a story like that, please finish it... Thanks

Romance / Re: Gay And Depressed. by Almightyperes: 12:55am On Mar 29, 2015
Depressedguy:
Being gay is my life regret, i have questioned God and myself how i got to this stage. I just feel like commiting suicide.

Here is my story, my name is Frank, 26, a banker. I am the envy of most women, because am 6.2" tall, fair and very handsome. My nickname is Ramsey Noah, this is to tell you how good looking i am. But i have a very BIG problem, i am attracted to the same sex.

This is a problem i have come to notice at teen, i love girls company more than guys, i play all the girl plays and hate football, am guessing that could be where my formation was transposed. I ended up liking what girls like when am not one. But i have come to change a few things becuase i went to a boarding house and was always ridiculed for that. So i changed so many things there, the way i talk, the way i walk, and my gestures, also i love football now more than anything, but my sexuality has refused to change.

I have all it takes to get a woman, i have a good job, a car, and live alone. But at this age, i have not seen a womans pants not to talk of getting in between. But i have so many female friends, so many that the always take me for a player. Am jovial with them, buy them gifts and treat them well, but am not sexually attracted to any of them and have no feelings whatsoever. Am just a good guy, i know that, because that is the best i can do to cover up my little secret. And they(ladies) love me too and many are dying for my attention. I have been asked out so many times by ladies. One even offered to pay all the bills just for us to get intimate, but i declined, lying that i have a girlfriend i dont want to cheat on.

To make matters worse, i hate being gay, sometimes i go celibate for as long as six(6) months simply because i hate my life and my sexuality. Am always alone, indoors all through the weekend, because going out with guys will result to girl talk and i have nothing to contribute, me of all persons, so hard to believe. I also hate gay companies, so many regrets afterwards as to why i am this way. I envy straight guys to the core, i so much wish i am one. When i see a guy and a girl holding hands and taking a walk, i have this feeling of giult amd hatred for myself that i quickly get depressed.

Here is the problem, i want to marry early, at least before 28 or max 30. I need to connect to a woman and force myself into a relationship. I need to get attracted to a womans body, and get turned on by that. And finally, i need to learn how to tolerate a woman, and live with thier baggage. Am comfortable as a single man, i dont mind living alone till i die, i can cook well and am not a sex freak, i can live for years without it. But i want kids, i love them and cant wait to have a daughter. I have once told myself that once i get married and have kids, i will divoorce my wife and live alone then the kids can stay anywhere. But this idea is pure foolishness.

I am very religious, as a matter if fact, this conditionn is the only sin i battle with, i know we all have one. I hardly commit any other sin. But i know that just this one is very mortal, but we are all strugglling because we are all flesh. It takes the grace of God to overcome sin generally.(Please dont come and critisize, we are all going to the same hell: homosexual, hetrosexual; and no sin is worse than the other.)

This my condition is getting me more depressed by the day and sometimes i wish to end my life. But i like my life more than anything, so am thinking of patronising prostitutes at least to get feel of what it takes like. But am afriad of STIs.

Please help a brother...
the truth is this only God can be able to save you from this, just look for a church with the gift of deliverance to deliver you from the habit of gay..
