Once you make payment, send an email to contact@meristem.com informing them of the bank you paid in and the amount. Hopefully you will be using the same email you used to register with them. If not endeavour to tell them your name and email

Thank God for prayer answer,asking for a reference means u are making progress with the admission,quickly reply that bcs that may hv been the reason for the delay...I see someone has rightly adviced u on the pros and cons for the M.ENG so I think the M.ENG is best for nw considering the requirements and rigours for a MASc.

Made a stupid mistake and applied for M.Eng instead of M.ASc, to my understanding if m given M.Eng i wont b able to proceed for PHD and that wud b a huge blow to mi..
my program (electrical/computer engineering) is a joint program btw carleton and uottawa, and if applying for M.ASc wit uottawa and not given wud be considered by carleton as well wit no extra charge and vise versa. bt wit dis mistake on my path i considered it resonable to apply to carleton and bear the extra cost

Contact their admissions office to see if u can change from M. Eng to a MASc,this would be easier tho if u had a supervisor. I changed my application from a MASc. To a PhD bfore I got the admission,the graduate school had turned down my application for a masters because I already hv a masters here in naija.

More so, they eat same staple food as Nigeria such as bread, rice, wheat, semolina, spaghetti, potatoes, black eye pea (white beans), amongst others. More so, there are African stores around to buy some food that may not be readily available.

applying for winter session to both schools, i pray they come out positive and on time.

It is well...you're making a headway already. Just make your msg to them short and straight to point(Dear...,please I need an update on my admission status to know how soon I should expect to hear from the school on the final decision) and include some gratitude(Thanks for your assistance so far)

amby7: Thanks Aloaye... 3 months is such a long time, have 3 admissions to UK (London and Leicester) and anoda 2 to Cyprus, and they only took three weeks or four at most. Read smewhere that i have to submit my visa application to canada three months before the start date of my intended program of study and thus the worry.. Thanks again

The applications on-going now I believe maybe for January,if u keep in touch regularly with their admissions office,u may get ur admission by early October..processing ur TRV is faster now,u can get it within 45days or highest 2months. Though some schools don't hv the winter session but May and September applications could also open soon.

UK schools process faster bcs the competition there may not be too high and they just need your money :-).

vinnygod: D journey took roughly 18hrs plus....travel with any foodstuffs u think will need specially those african's stuff u won't find here... Be mindful of d allowed kilogram(kg) thou mine exceeded with 1kg...they ( nigeran officer) allowed everyfin I moved with..I didn't have an issue with'em thou they demanded that I should drop for'em but I trickishly evaded them...I didn't spend penny...u need to be smart with them

It could take up to 3months but u need to keep in touch with their admissions office to get information on your application just incase any more documents are needed.

If you're applying for a research programme,contact potential supervisors.Getting a supervisor can fast-track your admission.
