Bethelofwisdom: Thanks so much for your reply. I am actually considering applying to another school for another programme using my master degree (which l finished in 2016), but l intend applying for another programme different from my master programme (I wish to cite career change as the reason). Will this suffice please? ..... Or can l cite self employment as the reason for my study gap (l have actually been self employed all these while, with only less than a year genuine working experience in a company). Please advise, l appreciate any genuine idea or suggestion please. |

I need advice please. I received an admission offer from a Uk university, and l ve been asked to make deposit to process my CAS. But during the application for admission, l submitted a CV in which l lied about my work experience (l did so because of my study gap i.e 15 years), but all my academic documents are genuine. My question now is that, hope it won't affect me during visa application ( i.e. will they ask me to submit only my academic documents and they won't make any reference to my CV)? Thank you |

Hi all, my question is that if l have a MSc admission with my 2.2 now in a German university (which implies l am in Category B), and meaning that l must wait for more than 8 months to get visa, how will l now be able to meet up with resumption? Or is there a way to go about it. |

Hi All. Please l need your advice. l have a PhD in Chemical Engineering with more than 5 years working experience. I'm intending to apply for the Job Seeker Visa but my problem is that l do not have any German language proficiency certificate (though l am learning basic german words and vocabularies from language apps like Duolingo). I am actually intending to apply for English-speaking jobs in Chemical Engineering or related fields when l get there (of course l saw many English-speaking Chemical Engineering jobs on some German job sites). My question now is do l stand a good chance of getting the visa without presenting any German language proficiency certificate in the embassy |

Anon123: @Anon, l don't really understand your second paragraph very well. l have 2.2 for undergraduate, do you suggest that l choose Graduate Certificate and with that, my chances of getting student visa is high? |

Gurus, l also notice that most colleges in Canada l have seen have Advanced Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs for the courses l wish to apply for. I hardly see Postgraduate Diploma and l heard that it is easy to get student visa with Postgraduate Diploma than with Graduate Certificate. Again, my questions are; 1. Is Advanced Diploma the same as Postgraduate Diploma? 2. Can one get student visa easily with Graduate Certificate? Educate me please . Thank you all for your patience |

Gurus, l need your advice please. l ve applied to Centennial College for advanced diploma in Environmental Technology using all the qualifications l have (l have bachelor, master and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering). Centennial is yet to make decision on my admission, l applied on Tuesday. I am also planning to apply to a graduate certificate program in Business Information Technology in Seneca College and graduate certificate program in Project Management in Huber College using all my qualifications too. I am not interested in Canadian universities due to 1. my low undergraduate cgpa 2. I'm not really interested in any kind of degree, just looking for a means to reach Canada (kindly note that l decided not to try other means of reaching Canada because l don't have IELTS or other English tests and also because l believe student visa will be faster). l ve applied to two Canadian schools in tthe past. One for graduate certificate (I used my bachelor degree for application) and the other for PhD (l used my master degree) and they both denied me admission which l suspected was because l have a low undergraduate cgpa of 3.01. And to be honest now, l just want to leave this country at the earliest time possible (l ve tried so many things to survive which have all failed), although l understand the need to mask my desperation during visa interview(s). My questions now are; 1. Is it actually advisable to use all my qualifications to apply to a graduate certificate, will it not affect my admission because l may be overqualified (I am simply doing so to make my candidacy more competive)? Kindly note the time gap of my qualifications; Bachelor gotten in 2007, master in 2016 and PhD in 2021. 2. Will it not affect me during visa interview(s) (although l intend to disclose to the visa officer of my bachelor degree only)? 3. If l disclose only my bachelor degree to the visa officer, can he/she discover my other qualifications from the school(s) l apply to? Thank you all for your time. |

Dear all, l just got an admission from Canadian Career Education College for a one year diploma program and the school is asking me to pay a non-refundable CAD500 for LOA fee . I'm not sure l will have problem with sponsor and ties but what's my prospect of getting student visa with the diploma program please? Kindly note that l have a degree but the degree program is a different field from the diploma course. Kindly advice as l don't want to waste CAD500 please. 1 Like |

Education / Re: Am Having Issues With Wes by Alobay: 4:30pm On Feb 14, 2019 |
House please advise. I have sent all my documents to WES for evaluation and I believe some of them, not all, have reached WES. But anytime I check my WES account to know which documents they have received (especially for the purpose of pursuing transcript verification in my schools) all what I see on my WES account is "Status: In progress We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s)." I have been seeing this message now for almost 2 weeks now and WES has not even sent me any email for any update whatsoever. What do I do please? |

House please I need your advise. I want to submit my Express Entry profile latest by March. I am in my 30s and I will do my next birthday in April. Hope completing and submitting my Express Entry profile before my next birthday (which will be in a month's time) will not affect my CRS points concerning age (remember for every single increase of age above 29 is minus 5 point) when my CRS is being calculated? Wonderful people of the house, advise me please |

Reason why I am asking is because of the way these white people think. I fear they may think that why am I not collecting the money from my parents, why my in-laws? Like, won't they think that I borrowed it from my in-laws? Please house advise? kashamadupe0906: |
