The question is clear enough. Why are churches or christians permitted to do and get away with what we would normally condemn others for?

If i go to my church and be praying for all my or a particular enemy to die. It is deemed as okay because it was done in the church.
Likewise when i go to the herbalist shrine to pray for same enemies to die, i am accused of being evil. What is the difference since the will and intention is the same.

One, you have to understand that God is the Creator of all things and He's the Almighty. Worshipping him means you reverence and adore Him. But how can you know Him? It is through His Word - Bible.

Second, you have to recognize the need for fellowship. Who goes to a market for no reason? Otherwise such a person will be lost or frustrated.
Hence, your purpose must be understood and appreciated. But again, how can you know the purpose of your existence? It is still through His Word.

Fellowship means partnership and worship means adoration. Your motives must be right before Him.
Although God already knows our thoughts but He'd still like you to be truthful to your words because nobody comes to business with unspecified intentions and hidden agenda.


Furthermore, you'll have to be studying His Word in order to understand God better. And you must seek good counsel at all times if you intend to grow in fellowship with God.
You see, Christianity is like a school; there are many classes/levels in which you grow to attain. A new convert cannot be compared to a decade old believer. Thus, you'll have to constantly read, study and meditate the scriptures.

And as you mature in the Word, you'll begin to experience many of God's wonders. Though at the time you accepted Him as your Lord and personal saviour, you gained instant access to His throne; however you need to grow spiritually. That'll be key to your spiritual/other success.
