Not really. Naira will loose value against USD rapidly. The reason being that many of those who stashed up cash for electioneering and vote buying will not just take the naira back to bank because EFCC and CBN will be monitoring inflow especially for those who have minted the naira.

So the easy strategy is to buy USD and stash them pending when the new notes are in circulation to buy back for the campaigns

The Law of Demand and Supply will lead to scarcity of the dollar. And a commodity is scare, the value goes up.

Those whose businesses pay in USD will be Tin Gods in the next few months leading to April because the system resets again.

Just a few pics from my recent trip to Malta! Malta is a beautiful (yet small) country in the middle of the Mediterranean (south of Sicily, north east of Tunisia), and I can see why Game of Thrones was filmed here! It’s simply beautiful!

It was my first time visiting so I didn’t know what to expect neither did I have any high expectations (which usually end up being the best vacations). Needless to say, Malta did not disappoint and I was blown away with the beauty of Malta, especially Gozo. Malta is an extremely friendly country and what I love most is how welcoming they are to foreigners (not just tourist but refugees and immigrants).

Here are the deets of my week stay there, I hope you enjoy the picture journey:

Split up my stay up between Westin Dragonara and the Hilton Malta. Both were considered 5* and will definitely not disappoint you. They are located in St. Julian’s. St Julian’s is where all the night life is and the best restaurants (imo) were in Valletta.

This was an incredible trip and now one of my top destinations!

Flights to Malta within Europe are incredibly cheap (saw as low as 30 Euros), and accommodations to fit all budgets are available.

The Three Cities (Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua)

Mdina (Silent City)
Gozo Island (booked a private chartered tour through Yippee)

I opened this thread for those that want to travel to The Gambia, do business (including import and export), or just travel for vacation/tour.

The Gambia is a small West African Country with roughly around 2million people in population. With virtually no natural resources, The country depends 'almost' on Tourists, Tasks, and Foreign intervention to survive.

Gambia enjoys almost 24 hours electricity in most of the towns, clean steady/healthy tap running water, with lots of Foreigners in the Country.

I happened to tour many sites in the country, they have beautiful hotels. Most of their hotels are beach hotels like... Kairaba Beach Hotel, Senegambia beach Hotel, Kalimba Beach hotel etc.

There are many Nigerians there, and Nigerians export items like bitter kola, alcohols, bitter drinks, food items, etc... On return, they import Fish from there. The Gambia has fish, and they're cheap there.

Many Nigerian students are there as well schooling and working.

British Airways had to find another plane after a passenger defecated on the floor and smeared feces around the cabin.

The incident delayed a flight from Heathrow to Lagos by three hours. The man smeared feces on himself and around the cabin during boarding, according to Business Insider.

BA apologized to customers and arranged another plane so the aircraft could be deep cleaned. Emergency services were called to Heathrow Airport following the incident on a Boeing 777 aircraft due to fly to Lagos, Nigeria.

During boarding the male passenger took his trousers off in the economy cabin on flight BA075 on October 7 before defecating on the galley floor. The man then sat in the feces, "rubbed" it into carpet and ran up the aisle smearing it on seats and curtains as well as his arms.

A report said the carpets and curtains were "severely
contaminated" and recommended that a hygienic biohazard and deep clean be carried out.

BA took the plane out of service for it to be cleaned. Another aircraft was found, delaying the flight's departure by about three hours.

A British Airways spokesperson told Business Insider: “We apologized to our customers for the delay to their flight and arranged for an alternative aircraft to allow them to continue their journey."

It is not known what triggered the incident, whether the passenger was charged or if he has been banned from BA flights.

British Airways did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

There were growing pains and hiccups at the beginning but I love this baby though I’m almost sure I’ll be selling her within the next few months. I have a new, non-Tesla electric vehicle on order and it’s taking an eternity. I’ve had the VIN and have been tracking it for months. With Tesla owners that I know personally, it’s either love or hate, no middle ground. Would I ever buy another Tesla? Not sure but would I ever go back to a vehicle powered by fuel? Only by force! Before my Tesla, I drove a Nissan Armada and before that a Toyota Sequioa. On average, I spent between $75-105 dollars each week of fuel alone so can you imagine why I love electric vehicles?

At 19 I had no social life. With the advantage of hindsight I know it was good for me. Consider yourself lucky bro.

Cut off social media or better still tame it if you want to make tremendous progress in life. I see too many young folks totally consumed and destroyed by it already. The most heart wrenching thing I see these days is full grown bearded men in their late 20's totally sold to the dopamine bursts from pixels on their phones. There are 3 in my organization that our HR has identified and queried at least once.

I have personally penciled one for termination by end of the year. He's in my department. Productivity zero. Initiative zero. Contributory value zero. Yet this guy will forever be glued to viewing videos on tiktok, statuses and instagram in the office. I have invited him for a hangout on 2 different occasions to help him however I can. Tried so hard to make him realize that the society we live in has zero tolerance for men who don't got their sh!t together. A babe can get away with plenty of such crap, some "cool" dude will still wife her up, as a guy you simply can't. All my entreaties were to no avail. As far as I'm concerned I need to act in the best interest of the organization now. He's a goner. The shock therapy of losing a N200k/month job might be all that's needed to rewire his cerebral cortex.

Why did I go into all this? You need a real life my guy. Your generation is just as blessed as it is cursed. Blessed with all the wherewithal to succeed right at your fingertips, as in just clicks away. Cursed with distractions on distractions on distractions. The choice is ultimately yours. Define your values. Define your goals.

Sign up on LinkedIn not instagram or tiktok or twitter or any of these hopeless apps that are wired to serve as distractions. That is my candid advice. Start taking necessary online personal and professional development courses.
Network with people in your chosen career path. Find mentors. Follow people that have made positive impact in society. Forget about "celebrities and entertainment stars" they are a curse to your generation. Focus only on people who have walked the paths you seek. Who have achieved meaningful things.

Money is good but do not let it be a major motivation just yet. If you put in the next 5-10 years into learning the right things, you'd have set yourself up for a lifetime of earning the wow $$$. The goal is to make money even in your sleep. Even I am on this quest my brother.

Meet real people, play down online dalliances, but be very, I mean extremely choosy who you allow into your space. Only people that will positively impact you and aid your trajectory in life.

I’m a Tesla owner and I live in the US. I have charging capabilities at home but it sometimes is a challenge finding charging stations away from home so I’m really wondering how he’ll fare in Nigeria. There’s also the challenge of maps, etc, in Nigeria being outdated and obsolete, rendering some of the features useless. Maybe this guy has plans to drive it only on occasion.
