write247ng: I have read others comments so far, one thing is certain , nimc has already informed all that the recruitment will be in phases and the interview trend is showing that already. Base on the need of the agency to implement national identity management scheme. The interview for the enrolment and registration officer and head state office is the first stage. We all know that nimc has offices /structures in the 36 states of the federation but they currently do not have office/structures in the local govt areas. hence maybe thier current need to kick start the scheme is in the state first before the local govt areas. According to Newspaper report, the staff that were sacked were mostly junior staff that were redundant, not having much to do and were not ICT literate in line with the current nimc ict enrolment of Nigerians. This is true, i serve during my siwe programme in a fed secretariat and you will discover that most of the junior and even some senior resume for work late around 10-11am ,had nothing doing except discussing and chatting about.
Another thing to note is that when we were applying for the job, in most of the positions , they listed the states that have vacancies for the positions. What most people fail to understand is that nimc have staff in all the 36 states of the federation and they are only beefing up thier staff strength ,like the enrollment and registration officer(senior) that i applied for had only 5 states with vacancies but you see people making their own estimation base on the 36 states. I believe that they may make some additions but not for the 36 states as given by others. Apart from the head, state office ,and enrollment ®istration officer.
The interview everywhere is another level of selection stage, many may be called and some may be selected, that was why they were scoring the applicants during the interview.
The rest of the positions for the state office include the following State Coordination Head of Section, State Coordination Customer Care Corporate Customers State Coordination Manager Customer Care (Manager) Head of Unit, Customer Care Customer Care Officers (Officer)
The local govt positions may come later as follows
Head, Local Govt Offices (LG) Enrolment & Registration Monitoring Officer(LG) Office Admin (LG) Local Government Coordination (Officer)
The rest of the position if you have the list is mostly for the head office in Abuja and maybe lagos.
Leave the pay package and think more and believe God to get the job first and see whether it will not be better than ur current job. End of discussion!!! |

alasuomowei: Some people think say na them be the first workers when Nimc wan employ... For your info, Nimc already had workers on ground even after sacking 4,000.... I see people calculating enrolment positions according to number of states and local govts.... Make una no 4get say Nimc already get offices 4 all 36 states and no be ghost dey there dey run them..
I visited Nimc branch in My state and I saw workers in their office.... So no tink say na una wen go interview be pioneers, people dey work, if0u 4k up b4 them giv u appointment letter, u are on ur own... you are absolutely right!!! |
