wondering why those other guys (aspirants) left the venue when voting is still on, votes not counted yet.

I guess they all knew delegates from all the LGAs and/or LCDAs would cast votes today, it is expected of each one of the aspirants to try his best in convincing the delegates about his plans for the state.
today is all about how well you can convince the DELEGATES and not how well you are loved by Lagosians and those resident in Lagos.
success today will lead to the latter(convincing lagosians and those residing in Lagos)

taking few Physics courses that were easy for you doesn't translate into making Physics an easy course to study.
I had 'A's in all the Mathematics courses i borrowed from 100L to final year (not boasting), but that'll never make me say Mathematics is an easy course to study.

Of course yes. . . perhaps those who are not on the President's side should ask themselves whether the reason for the strike is good enough for people's lives to be sacrificed coupled with the recent Ebola outbreak.
It seems they have no human feelings at all. . . Why not suspend the strike earlier to arrest the Ebola epidemic. After-all soldiers and other military personnel are trying their best and most time paying with their lives to keep all of us safe and alive.
Just imagine a situation that the Army goes on strike cos a Navy man is made the CDS.
