boookworm: FTC.
by the way today's results came in late
If you think Yahaya Bello stands to gain something from standing his ground that there's no case of Covid 19 in Kogi state but think the Federal Government doesn't stand to gain anything from inflating the figures of cases recorded per day then you're a bloody hypocrite and not to be taken seriously on nairaland or anywhere for that matter.
Did Kano reduce their testing capacity or what? They've recorded just 15 cases in 3 days meanwhile Edo state that has 3 times less the population of Kano have recorded twice that in two days.

Stay safe my people In fact, the figures from Kano leaves me thinking that something must be wrong somewhere, if it is true the virus spreads at the rate or manner we were told. How can Lagos, with the enlightenment and measures taken record above 300 and Kano in the past few days and less measures have such less figures. Astonishing! |

Jokerman: Selfish parents.... If they open schools, you can't ask your children to stay home... No be force... Allow other parents Some people have been going to the market and mingling yet find it difficult to go to work. How long can we keep the country on lockdown should be the question posed to such people because I don't see any hope in sight for a total clearance of the virus from Nigeria |

chrisxxx: There are news NDLEA is not supposed to release to the public. This is one of them. They will have more similar cases to confront with this detailed exposition. Free the guy pls. That's the problem with most of our security/law enforcement agencies, always quick to score cheap points not minding the effect of dishing out such sensitive information. I expect them to carry out more research towards the effective use of the oil for medicinal purposes and not just criminalizing the process and end product because the source is Indian hemp. EMMAUGOH: Mumu nigerian leaders,,,,, CBD will solve 50% of ailment we loose money importing drugs for.
Nigeria does not breed thinkers instead we breed follow follow and religious bigots..spits As in ehn, they won't fail to disappoint |

ogawriter: I feel for edolites right now. Obaseki is more concerned about his re-election than fighting the corona-virus.
I was opportuned to chat with a taxi driver yesterday who confided in me that his sister sneaked in from Lagos during the weekend. I was quick to remind him the borders were closed and that his sister should isolate herself just incase.
The guy laughed and said that she was not the only person he knows who beat the lockdown on the border. All you need is 500 for taxi and 1k for bus. Nah so I weak for we country. My brother, it's happening in all states, there is nothing like ban on interstate movement, the Presidency and PTF are just deceiving themselves and punishing the average/below average Nigerians. I wonder when it will dawn on them that the interstate lockdown is not working, in fact, if not that some governors are taking it serious, the little to no restrictions won't be there at all, that's the reality our people up there don't want to accept. There is covid-19 no doubts, we all need to protect ourselves because people are moving from one state to another even if it requires parting with money to bribe or passing through bush paths. |

lastmessenger: Everyman at this moment must behave in such a way to protect himself and others against this virus. Why can't everyone wear face mast and hand gloves and go back to work? For Gods sake use the police to enforce the measures. We cannot continue to sit at home for a virus that we do not know when it will end. Life must go on while we wait for the development of the vaccines. And I tell Nigeria government, try local solution, let's consult the traditional medical practioners and know what they have to say I wonder why they don't want to consider it, not just paying lip service to it when they are asked, but giving it a trial, after all there's no known and accepted orthodox medicine for now, so what stops us from trying alternative medicine? |

Aflix: huuumm make dem still use style show Nigerians the isolation center with the patients in it now. Other countries did it. If this is done it's going to increase the level of seriousness of compliance of Nigerians. When they see people struggling for breath even with ventilators on they will know it's a serious issue Yes, especially the doubting Thomas amongst us... Our situation is quite critical, lifting the lockdown ain't good enough for us at this time, but the government ain't doing enough to cater for people's basic needs during this peiod |
