the CCB cannot try a senior judge because the constitution says only the NJC is the body empowered to try any judge of any calibre.
and the Federal Court of Appeal has affirmed it in the ruling against CCB vs Justice Ngwuta 2017.
Any ruling,judgement, will be overturned in the higher courts without the the CJN appearing in the court

Oga abeg, get your fact right. The NJC does trail rather they look at the merit of the petition and make appropriate recommendations based on their findings. Beside, the CJN in question is the chairman of NJC. Would he adjudicate in his own petition?

What constituted authority? The appeal court has already ruled that a judge cannot be tried without clearance from the NJC.That judgment is still in effect.The CJN will not appear before the CCT tomorrow.

In view of the obvious persecution of the CJN..obvious persecution because the petition against him was received just this 8th January and in just 3 days, investigation has been concluded and everything ready to put him on trial on Monday, 14th January. As a world-class accountant, I can tell you for free that mere ownership of a bank account is not an asset. It is pertinent to clarify that mere ownership of a bank account is not an asset worthy of declaration:

1. There is nothing declare if the account has a zero balance
2. it is actually a liability and not an asset if the account has a debit balance (i.e. an overdrawn balance)
3. it is also not asset if whatever balance is held in the account belongs to another party other than the account holder

Why did he declear the other two account if an account is not an asset?

Usoro, the one that is also standing trial or another one. The elite has always been the problem. Let see how a judge that has been accused would preside over a corruption case. Even his election is shredded in corruption and confusion.
