How right is it? kissing your female children on their lips as a dad or your son as a mother.


Kissing your daughter on her lips could be a little weird for me but, One family who clearly doesn’t share my feelings on this topic are the Beckhams. Yesterday, David Beckham shared a photo of himself kissing his daughter on the lips.

The comments on the photo are less than complimentary. ‘Unfollow, this is just wrong!’ ‘Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?’ they read. Yes, Victoria experienced fall out for her picture, but nothing on the comments posted on David’s.


A man kissing his daughter is, it seems, much more objectionable than a woman doing so.

Now forgive me, but if you think that kissing your child on the lips is a completely non-sexual, non-romantic thing to do, then why does it make any difference whether the person kissing them is male or female?


When Victoria posted the picture, there was a slew of defence claiming, ‘it’s innocent’, ‘it’s lovely’. And while I disagree that anyone should be kissing children on their lips, if you think that a mother kissing her daughter on the lips is perfectly normal then how can you possibly think that it’s different for a father?


The unspoken subtext here is that it’s fine to kiss a child of your own gender on the lips, but when you do it to a child of the opposite gender it becomes somehow sexual.

Perhaps it’s just because it looks more reminiscent of an adult heterosexual kiss, but I can’t help thinking that it’s something more worrying than that – motivated by an insinuation of abuse.

Animal rights campaigners are hunting a foolhardy angler seen squirming n aked on the back of a shark in what appears to be a bizarre trophy photo.

They say the weird pose is ‘disrespectful’ to the ocean predator – and are demanding the man is named and shamed for his ‘humiliating’ behaviour.
“That’s disrespectful to the shark,” said Marie Levine, executive director of the Shark Research Institute.

An 18-year-old from Mexico has designed a bra that can detect signs of breast cancer early on.
Julian Rios Cantu says that he was inspired by his mum’s battle with breast cancer, which eventually lead to her having a double mastectomy.

His design has now won the top prize at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards.
Known as EVA, the bra has been developed with the help of three friends through Julian’s company Higia Technologies, with the intention of being used by women with a genetic predisposition to cancer.

It’s equipped with around 200 biosensors which allow the bra to map the surface of the breast, monitoring changes in temperature, weight and shape.
In some cases, an increase in heat can suggest more blood flow – indicating that those blood vessels are feeding on something, which tends to be some type of cancer.

A female school Cleaner r,ap€d a male student at a high school, taking his virginity after he turned her down for s*x multiple times, it has been claimed.
Jessica Galyon, 29, is accused of taking the schoolboy into a room at Midway High School, Tennessee and r.@ping him, moments after he begged her to stop making advances towards him.
Galyon allegedly began sending "flirt@tious and s*xual messages" to the boy last August. He told the janitor her advances were "unsolicited, unwanted and unwelcome."
But a lawsuit says Galyon was undeterred, asking the boy to go to a hotel with her for s*x on September 16. It is alleged he rejected the offer and told her he didn't want "any further contact" with her.
At school the teenager then made a final demand to Galyon to stop harassing him and it is then claimed she took him into a room and r@p€d him during school hours.
Galyon, who is a married mother from Philadelphia, Tennessee, was arrested on February 23 on charges of s*xual battery by an authority figure, aggravated statutory r@p€ and statutory r@p€ by an authority figure.
The Roane County Sheriff's Office, said she was later released on $15,000 bond to return home to her husband Bull and their son.
The male student's family are suing for $4.5m in damages from Roane County Schools and Compass One Services of Tennessee, the contractor that employed Galyon. according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
"This was the first ever s*xual encounter of any kind that (the boy) had ever had in his life," the lawsuit reads. It effectively took away his virginity.
The action claims the two organisations were negligent in allowing the alleged r@p€ to occur, according to a copy of the lawsuit filed Monday.

Thousands of people trooped out to the street of London to watch as 40,000 runners hit the streets for the 2017 London Marathon. Among the events that took place, one incident has stood out above the rest.


A woman cheering on the runners at the London Marathon got much, much more than she bargained for when she snapped a photo.


Her face in the picture above says it all as – judging from this shot – she looked back at the picture she just took and realized there was something very wrong.

The study argues that stealthing is an act of gender-based violence, and violates both civil and criminal laws.
Consenting to protected s ex is a different thing from consenting to unprotected s ex. Aside from all the potential risks associated with unprotected s ex, letting another person inside your body without any kind of barrier is, for some people, a huge deal.

For the avoidance of doubt, r ape is s ex without consent. If a person agrees to have protected s ex, and then the protection is removed, the consent does not stand, so by default it is r ape.

The good news is that the removal of a condom constituting r ape is starting to be recognised as a fully-fledged crime. One of such case is the Wiki leaks founder Julian Assange, who is currently still wanted in his native Sweden after multiple women claimed he had removed or tampered with the condom during s ex.

Whether it’s s ex between a man and a woman, or two men, or two women, if you remove contraceptive barriers without the other person’s consent, you are violating their consent. No question.
