Typical of single guys, he thought he was doing fine. But all the expenses from traditional and white wedding depleted his account so much that he couldn't afford to renew his office rent. Now he sees you as the cause of his problems. Next line of action will be to accuse of being possessed by marine spirit and that you are an agent sent to destroy his life and destiny. Take am easy with marriage expenses, some people no go hear. No matter how big or small your wedding reach, e no go pass one month everyone forgets while your debt fit reach years to clear. Welcome to marriage reality101. The man dey vex for you o!

Ever wonder why na people who do big society wedding that their marriages first dey crash.
/

This is quite silly and is a tacit endorsement of spousal abuse.

1. Did the guy not know how much the wedding was going to cost? If it was too expensive, he has the right to explain to his fiancee, try to trim down the budget or delay the wedding till they have more money.

2. Even if the problem is high expenses, how does his current attitude solve the problem?

@ Elvina

Yes he's spiritual. That's one quality that attracted me to him.

lol i had to laugh at this one. My sister, even as a christian, i have learnt one thing... spirituality is meaningless when it is not followed up with action. Too many people are blinded by people who pray long and hard at church, are always first to come to church and last to leave, lead bible study groups etc. Yet these same people are cold, unfeeling and harsh to their spouses... the number 1 example of Christ's relationship with the church.

I would rather find a sister who does not seem so spiritual but is kind, sweet, open and willing to grow with me than a deeper life sister who thinks it is a sin to make love more than 2 times a month. A word is enough for the wise.

Thanks.

Hi house,
My int'l passport has four country stamp i.e benin, cameroun, togo and ghana,.
I ve 800k in my acct
Can i apply for US tourist Visa or schengen tourist visa
I just want to start Building travelling experience, so dat i can be giving a longer visa stay later.
Tnx

Assuming an exchange rate of N300 - $1, your account holds just $2700. Considering a return ticket would cost a minimum of $1500, that leaves you only $1200 for your tourist trip and spending money when you get back home to Nigeria. Your chances of getting a B2 visa to the US is quite slim. You can try the schengen visa.

Also note that for the US, the number of years your visa is valid is not what matters, it is how long you are allowed to stay in the US per visit at the point of entry that counts. It usually won't be longer than 90 days.

There is clearly a section in the application form that asks if you have any family member in the US, and to give details of same...
For you to have applied for a visa without stating that your father is a permanent resident in the UK, it means that you must have deliberately filled the application form in deception.
Well, you may not have been banned yet, but you have to hold on to the lie because, you could get banned if they ever know that you lied in previous application.

I beg to differ. This is not going to help. Unless he never plans to have his father file for permanent residence for him, this lie will be quickly found out. Why doesn't he just admit the lie now? Although that is a pretty huge omission.

Phones / Re: Fraudsters Swap Lady's Airtel Sim And Steal Her N400,000 by amalektch: 5:47pm On Feb 06, 2016
I read this with amazement. This is partly yours and the banks fault.
1. On learning that your sim was stolen, the very first thing to do was CHANGE ALL PASSWORDS connected to your bank accounts and retrieval methods for your password...
2. Your banks are quite primitive really. No serious bank sends lost passwords by email. Rather when you click to retrieve a lost password, you should get a link asking you to reset your password. This requires prior knowledge of the old password which would be only known to you. Lastly, passwords are typically linked to devices, that means if I attempted to login in to my own bank account from a different computer of mobile phone, the bank would ask me to provide additional information such as answers to secret questions I set previously before I am allowed to access my bank info. In some cases, it would require the use of a code sent to an external phone number that I only would have access to. Wow.

Our justice system is frustrating. This case has been ongoing for around ten years now and there is still no end to it but if it was one poor man that stole 10k now, they will sentence him to death immediately. Surely all men are equal but one is more equal than the other.

Its the same everywhere. In the US, people can appeal death sentences up to the supreme court for over 10 years.

If you are looking for tyrant Presidents then don't look further than Obama who has not deemed it fit to visit Nigeria neither has he obliged for our cries for Ammunition to attack the terrorists. He will rather arm mercenaries who fight for ISIS to fight his war by proxy.

lol obama is a tyrant for not obliging us with weapons to tackle terrorists... but if he does and the weapons end up in the wrong hands due to our own incompetence, you would be the first here with a thread talking about how incompetent he is. My guy, your obsessive hatred of obama makes us wonder what you would be up to in 2017. Please take your medicine.

In my opinion Obama has made it difficult for African Americans who have the ambition to contest in the presidential election. It will take a miracle for Ben Carson to win due to the collateral damage Obama has caused by his policies.

This is a shame and basically exposes the problem with blacks like you - inferiority complex. Despite the troubles with Nixon or gw bush, no white man will ever say that their failed presidencies have made it more difficult to elect a white man as president again in future. You are the living embodiment of how racism has so warped the psyche of some blacks that they consider it a high honor to have whites so much as speak to them or consider them good enough to converse with. You also inadvertently expose the problem of white privilege and pernicious racism... If the presidency were all about character rather than skin color, then why should obama's presidency make things difficult for Carson in a way bushs presidency has never done even to his own brother? Reading this post made me cringe with disgust.

Basically you've just admitted what so many of us have known for so long... Carson will never be president, not because he is not good enough, but because he is black... You simply swallowed the ready excuse your white republicans will use - Obama. Except that such an excuse never applies with white presidential contenders. Unlike black men, white presidential contestants are never burdened by the failures of past white presidents. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I am sure the Obama administration regretted the day they chose Ben Carson to speak at the prayer's breakfast because that was when Obama was taken to the cleaners. Watch the talk here: cheesy

... and they care because? You know they care how? Obama will leave in 2017 and go down in the record books as one of America's presidents. Ben Carson will be forgotten.

The hypocrisy of Dr Ben Carson is blinding.

More about Dr. Ben Carson:
1. Raised by a single mother
2. Raised in public housing
3. Fed with food stamps.
4. Supported with welfare
5. Kept healthy with medicaid
6. Educated in public schools
7. Got eyeglasses from state agency
8. Benefited from affirmative action to enter college
9. Used federal loans and Pell grants in undergrad school
10. Benefited from affirmative action to enter medical school
11. Med school paid for with grant from USPHS*
12. Said: “The disintegration of the family unit and the welfare state are enslaving African-Americans and ruining their futures.”

Typical Tea Partier; He got his, he grew up on welfare and state support but wants to do away with Obama care, He wants the rest of Americans to be on their own after benefiting from the state.

How else do you expect a black republican to get ahead in the republican party? The only reason he popped up as a viable candidate in the first place was using the national prayer breakfast to insult the president openly and call obamacare the worst thing since slavery. Anything else and no one would have given him the light of day.

@ all, the new guy or my man are not rich, just average guys. I met the new guy when my man and I had an issue and we didn't talk for almost 3 months and I thought that was the end even though we've agreed to marry before then. the wedding issue has been dragging on for a long time and I got fed up. I believe he's scared of losing me that is why he demanded we get married now.

I'm not a bad person or cheat, my man was my first. I just feel this new guy really cares about me and he's optimistic about having me in his life.

PS. the new guy doesn't know we've worked out our differences and we are not dating officially, we just spend a lot of time together and he's talking about getting married.

I have a simple solution - do not marry either. It seems you are marrying the first guy only because you both have been together so so long that you feel its just the right thing to do. You're not married and you're carrying grudges for 3 months. Better to stay single than to regret your decision later.

Which "liberals"? The ones in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina? I think what yo're trying to say is that back in the day, the south (which was the bastion of slavery) was actually a democrat stronghold. Just so you know, democrat was not always equivalent to liberal. You seem to have an aversion to serious thinking.
