Toluth: Hello all, I really need you guys to help me here cos I'm getting frustrated and unhappy and I believe you guys can help me out. I have a cgpa of 3.80 out of 5, yet. I was denied admission by the two schls applied to for a masters degree in Economics. The two schls are university of mannheim and Ruhr university of Bochum.( I applied directly to both)
Pls what do u guys think maybe wrong?
I want to apply for the next summer semester and now I will apply through uni-assist.
Pls I would like you guys to give me some schls I can apply to under uni-assist in the same course that admission would be very much possible. Any other information you think I may need that would aid my admission process would be much appreciated. Thank you so much and I hope I get responses to this cos as of now, I'm counting on you guys. Thanks so much.

Godson201333: I know and when discussing here in Germany and talking about direct entry we talk about either Testdaf or dsh which some of them know as A levels.

Anybody can google (ZAF) to read more about admission palava.

Godson201333: Some people talk bout A levels,The A levels that the Germans accept is not something like Sat,Gmat or something for undergraduate,You must start from the scratch no short cut.A levels exams in German starts from (Testdaf) if you can pass that exam then you can get admitted to directly to a German university.That exam no be play and it cannot be written in Nigeria as they got no centres there.

You should be ready to do a lot of sacrifice for studying in Germany,If not you might not find it easy consigning the visa.Either you get admitted in Germany the embassy wont still give visa for some reasons cos there are some low ranking schools here too.

If you get admitted to Uni Konstanz and studien kolleg Bochum,your chances of getting visas is very low cos our dear brothers spoilt those schools as getting admission from them use to be cheap and easy.

franklysco: I applied for MSc structural Chemistry and Spectroscopy, Universität leipzig. It's a Numerus clausus, based on aptitude test. Uni-assist graded me 1.4; so am hoping on somting good.

Toluth: Course restrictions depends on the schl as well. In most schls, Economics is restricted at masters level if I'm right.

otto256: family reunion visa pains more than a tooth,its almost 4 monaten but no reply from this guys yet.i miss my kids and my wife too.every nite my kids wake up calling my name papa papa.their always ask there mum when will papa come to us,my big daughter,she always tell her teacher that she wont do the exam unless is father is in germay or she comes back to africa and live with me.i have gone into tough life since there went back to germany,i really feel that am lifeless without my family.but for sure what really hurts me is that,my friends who we went for german course together 2 of them have already left and what pains me alot is that, their have no even a single kid.thats why I always say this world is not fair and it will never be!!!!!!!!!! and 2 of my friends are all women!!.share your pain with me who under [c go in the same war like me.good nite GOD`s creatures

Study german language at Goethe because they have alot of materials at the library and yes within a year it should be ready.

This is the only way you can prove to the embassy that you have serious intentions in studying in Germany.Its a very complicated language that requires hard work!.

somkwams: Bro Godson please do you know if there are short time programmes in the goethe institution? My main problem Is that I stay in the east and I learnt that their courses take up to a year! Am really confused based on what to do
