Your topic is misleading though.
There's nowhere in the article that stated this man is a full-blooded Nigerian.
If he is a prof. of Astro-physics we will be quick to claim him now he is a despoiler nobody want to lay claim. His name gave him out as one of us and he is.

This your theory will not work even on paper. Did you say sincere? Sincerity means different things to the Northerner and the southerner. Case in point Yaradua's disappearance.

Once the Middlebelt and south align in the mould you are suggesting, then the middlebelt becomes the immediate battle ground and it will be really intense.

Besides who told you a yorubaman and an IGBO man wants to be in the same republic? The ND would feel this arrangement only mean they are switching masters and nothing new hence will not be keen to support it
This is where the problem lies considering what happened some 4 decades ago. South Nigeria is an illusion. I will prefer a Nigeria with regional govt than to break up and form a country with the west. If Nigeria is going to break up let every region be a country. The west can form alliance with SS,North or MB.

But the Govt should look into the taxes of a thing. Its not right to pay double tax at the long run the food price will increase and consumers will be the once to bear the brunt. All these agbero, lastman or whatever should be banned from Nigeerian roads. Everyday you keep on seeing new formed uniform men extorting money from evrybody on the street.

I once heard that he placed a notice that you dont have to greet anybody you see within his compound cuz they might not asnwer you.

Extract from the site.

In the recent past, I single-handedly handled financed the activities of the defunct Association for Better Nigeria (ABN), the pressure group that legitimately and constitutionally went to court under the due process of law and obtained the judgement restraining the conduct and eventually the non-release of the results of the presidential elections of that year [JUNE 12 ELECTION RESULTS] by the electoral commission.

The association did not receive any iota of financial assistance from the Babangida Administration. There are living witnesses amongst the top echelons of that regime who should feel free to contradict my position. All the funds expended in realizing the objectives of the association were provided by me from the funds made available or provided by the TRUSTS at my own request. In the same vein are the activities of the defunct Union of Democratically Elected Representatives of Nigeria (UDERN) and the present MONAC.

Therefore, if I spent millions of naira of my own money to promote ABN and other such pressure groups which I believed in, why is it difficult to believe that I am spending my own millions of naira now to support Obasanjo by opposing an underserved impeachment intrigue? It is in the light of the above facts that I am amused by the uncharitable or unreasonable suspicion that in trying to make my political conceptions and projections a reality, it must surreptitiously be "to make money." I, however, agree that part of the burden of living in a corrupt society is to explain everything away in monetary terms. Certainly, that is not my style. In this context, it is on record that I had in the past been reported as criticizing Nigerian public officials for "stealing what they do not need." I am convinced that with the material resources at my disposal, provided by the TRUSTS. I can sustain my standard of living for life, and do exactly what I want to do politically, legally, any time, any place, based on my conviction. Monetary inducement does not motivate or excite me, I have seen it all. Conviction motivates and excites me sometimes; I am driven to be more catholic than the Pope.

In the Senate impeachment imbroglio against President Obasanjo, I believed in and adopted an opposition view from the Senate leadership. I practically implored every senator [THAT] I lobbied. Although, I am presently suffering an undeserved suspension, it is gratifying to be acknowledged as a principal factor in getting the Senate to realize that the impeachment plan was an ill wind, underserved and inspired by a hidden political agenda.

In the course of pursing this project, I have received a gift and donation of US$125,000,000.00 (one hundred and twenty five million United States dollars) from the AGUNZE TRUST. It is instructive that out of this fund, I have so far drawn only US$17 million (Seventeen million dollars) as follows:

(a) US$3.5 million 10/9/2002

(b) US$3.5 million 12/9/2002

(c) US$10 million on 14/11/2002

At a parallel conversion rate of N141 to one US dollar, I have at my disposal N2,397,000,000 (two billion three hundred and ninety seven million naira) - were it all to have been exchanged. I believed that answers the question of who is my financier or my source of wealth.

While funds for my political activities may not literally be "a river that never runs dry", I do not require to look for sponsors for any political budget that I wish to implement. That is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I always pick up my political bills

Nzeribe helped the General Ankrah govt that overthrew Nkrumah (at the behest of certain foreign powers) Nzeribe was kicked out of Ghana in 1969 for bribery and corruption and General Ankrah was forced to resign over this scandal, so nobody should hoodwink us and say the source of his wealth is clean.
So do the mighty CIA that everybody celebrate today.

Britain is rich today cuz of the wealth they looted from Africa. Do you call British people looters?

This man is stupendously wealthy but sadly there is no evidence of his wealth touching the lives of his people.

The reception, which will hold at Marlborough House, Pall Mall, London, comes up at 6pm (7pm Nigerian time) and will also have in attendance the Queen's husband. Members of the diplomatic corps are expected on the occasion.

Invited at the behest of the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Mr. Kamalesh Sharma, an Indian diplomat, guests were asked to show up at the venue either in lounge suites or their national attires.

A delighted Kanu said it was a great honour to be invited to such an event, especially as it was taking place barely 48 hours after his team, Portsmouth, reached the semifinals of the FA Cup after a 2-0 home win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

"It is really a great honour to be invited to such an event and I am really looking forward to it," Kanu said.

The Commonwealth theme for this year is 'Science, Technology and Society.'

The Commonwealth, which is made up of former British colonies, has the Queen as its head and is made up of 54 countries.

No sane person makes fun of Biafran kids.
Your logic is wretched. Do two wrongs make a right? If people are insane, is the proper thing to you to join them? What does that make you?
I didn't call you names because, I felt like. Its the impression you are creating of yourself.
The truth is you are the one abusing Biafran kids right now, because this has nothing to do with it. Nobody sees it that way, except damaged people.
Please leave Biafran kids out of this.
Two wrongs makes no right but you supported the mend millitants to bring Nigerian economy to a halt by bombing flow stations and all that. What is the rational behind that? if not the wrongs the FG has been doing to ND environs. Hypocrisy at its best.

violent:
And how do you propose we go about this? kill more kids?

Answer the question i asked you and stop d rigmarole. Who told you i did not lose relatives during the Nigerian genocide against my people? The truth will set you people free if not in the next two months another mayhem will be unleashed and you will run in here to cry like a baby.

EzeUche:
Two wrongs do not make a right. The killing of CHILDREN and WOMEN is disgusting! I do not care if the children are Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa or Nupe. It does not make it right!!!
Disgusting,
Nobody is saying its right, the spirit of these kids will push those blood thirsty goons to kill another day is the spirits are not in peace.

If you check well in here people from ND, SW and North post pictures of starving Biafran Kids and laugh at it as if its something from a cartoon network. I don't mock or laugh at those kids cuz its not their fault. May their soul rest in Peace. All of you here are just posting for nothing sake, profer solution to the crisis in your country, Pacify those innocent kids killed some 42 yrs ago and see how Nigeria will look like in the next 5 to 10 yrs. Look at those children and trying looking at children of Biafra in the late 60s. Who fought and killed the Biafran children/wpmen? THE MIDDLE BELTERS. Kamar they say is a B.TCH. Evil that men do live after them. The pendulum will soon swing to another region. We are watching with keen interest.
May the souls of this innocent children but with wicked fathers/forefathers rest in peace.

@Amarilo,
All tribes are suffering from a non functional government. If Nigiera was working, I doubt we would discussing tribe issues the way we are. Look at the UK, made up of 4 different parliament (Welsh, Scottish, NI, and GB) all part of the United Kingdom. They dont fight each other, because there is a functioning government.
Yes all tribes are suffering thats why some want to see if they can correct it(which i doubt). Why did they not correct it 43 or 44 yrs ago? cuz they think the suffering is limited to the easterners alone. Thatz why i said you must look backwards to correct what is happening today.
