The robbers does not have gone on them, if they really have gone, you would have been dead by now.
They don’t even spare their fellow Mexican who challenge them while robbing.
You are very lucky, next time allow them to take your phone because you will live to buy another one.

Read the story shared by a Nigerian mum Eze Ijeoma.....

'On February 19th 2018, my sons and I traveled as a family for the first time to Mexico. We stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Resort. At 1am on February 22nd 2018, my son Jason Enwere fought for his life 3 times and survived. Please help me share his story to the world. Thankful ThereIsAGod ThankYouForYourPrayers

These are his words.....

Last night, for the 1st time in my life, I faced death head on. On my way back to my resort from Playa del Carmen at 1am, I entered a regular taxi, with my seat belt on. It occupied a Mexican driver and a gentleman. I negotiated with the driver that it would be a 200 pesos ride back to my resort. Little did I know that they were out to get me. I had recalled the route going back from a previous trip and realized that the cab driver made a funny turn. Before I knew it, the passenger behind me put me in an arm choke hold and asked me to give them everything I had. The driver immediately raced towards my phone and I began to kick him. His partner began to squeeze my neck harder and I lost consciousness. All I remember after that was waking up to the sound of wind as my body was dangling outside of the passenger door. When I woke up, I began fighting the driver viciously - a melee ensued again. This time I was injuring both counterparts. I then remember the driver asking his partner to grab for his gun multiple times but his partner hesitated. They slowed down the car, pulled off to the side of the road and the drivers partner grabbed a boulder the size of a volleyball and began to strike my head with it - hence the massive contusions on my skull (13 stitches). Those blows to my head made me pass out again. I woke up a few seconds later because I felt my body scraping against the asphalt - as I was still being dragged out the car. After a few minutes of fighting and dragging I finally let go of the car and the 2 gentlemen sped off in a frenzy. All they got was an iPhone and 2 rings. Out of sheer shock and pain, I passed out for a 3rd time, woke up and luckily walked a few km before finding a police road stop. They contacted the hotel my family was staying at and reconnected us all. I’ve never hugged and cried in my mother’s arms the way I did that night. I really thought I was going to die. To all the people in this world that hustle/grind for their money - please be mindful of how you do it. Out of greed, I was left on a Mexican highway hemorrhaging from a severe cut to my head. I pray this world will one day find peace and harmony. MexicoNeverAgain'

Goldenboy007:
I read a topic posted here in 2011 on the problem of renewing your Nigerian Passport in US. It is funny that 6 years later the problem is still there.
I started filling the innovate1 form online and when i clicked submit the site went offline. - trying to get a new E-passport (cos no renewal for expired Nigerian Epassport) and it has become Jamb.

One - I hate the option of having to travel to DC or Atlanta or New York to get a Passport. Also the consulate will take forever to pick calls (if you are lucky enough), There is red letter warning on paying with credit card vs money order. I also dont know if the passport scarcity still exist or affects those processing from outside the country. Why is there so much trouble doing something as simply as getting a Passport of where you were born.

Now the adviser needs advice oo...

Is it easier to try to get a Nigerian Visa on the US passport or should I still continue to attempt to get the Nigerian Passport. Also which is time efficient - I need it to be out before last week in August.

Muchos gracias!

Na muchas gracias. Hablas espanol?

@Goldenboy007, I am exactly in your shoe right now. My passport will expire in September and I need to fly to USA from a neighboring country to renew my passport. I work from Monday to Friday, now I need to ask for 2 days permission to accomplish this task after I might have done my application online.

I need a direction/advise.

which route is ok and safe from Nigeria to mexico without any country transit visa pls urgent.

Nigeria to South Africa to Brazil to Mexico.

You need to book and pay for a hotel in Mexico before you start coming or else they will send you back to Nigeria from south Africa.

I doubt if they will grant you the visa. Either the company he is using to process is up to date with their tax or the company is not eligible to invite any more people to Mexico.Just pray everything work out fine for you. But the mexican imigration is very fast with their process now. How much did you pay to your friend for the process ?

Hello House!
My candid advice to anybody coming to Mexico with a tourist visa is to try as much as posible to get a Spain, German, France or any other Shengen visa. If you don't have any of this transit visa, your chances of reaching mexico is just 20%.
A friend of mine that I adviced on the best way to come here, refused to take my advice.
He was coming here in August, on reaching to south africa, he was deported back to Nigeria. Later on 23rd of September, his elder brother bought another ticket for through Turkey airline. On reaching Turkey, he was not allowed to continue his journey and was booked back to Nigeria. Luckily for him pleaded with them to give him his passport back so that he can sought it with the ticket office. They later gave him his passport and he used his Turkey E-visa to enter Instanbul. Presently he is still in Instabul, Turkey.
Why I am saying this is that most people that were deport never come here to share there experience.
So getting Mexican tourist visa does not guarantee you reaching or entering Mexico. Many people were deported at the point of entry in Mexico.

Travel / Re: Traveling To Mexico General Enquiries by amattahcj(m): 4:10pm On Aug 25, 2015
Embassy does not issue work visa, embassy can only give you, tourist/business or student visa. Work visa is processed by the company that want to employ you in Mexico, through the Mexican immigration office.

The immigration lawyer processing your document will tell your friend what you need to bring along.

Amatach nd co...our thread is soo dry..wats wrong? Pls i wana ask a question..a frnd of mine want me in mexico and he colected my scand international passport..since last week.he wants to apply from mexico..can some1 apply from mexico for u in Nigeria?he keeps telin me his lawyer is working on it.is dat how de process takes time? Pls i need clearifications
Don't worry, that is the normal process to obtain or process a work visa. The immigration lawyer will process your visa with a copy of your international passport and the constancia de employado of the company inviting you to work with them in mexico. The process take 2 or more weeks to be process here, then you just need to go to mexican embassy in abuja and they will stamp you with a working visa.

What visa type are yo coming with ?
If you are coming with tourist visa, go online and book a room on Amigo hostel (hotel) to avoid deportation, once you book for the number of the days you will stay, you don't need to pay online, you will pay when you arrive the hotel.
