@zeezzy dear,I really understand ur plight,I guess in dis journey we are always in tight corners(to go or not)wen it comes to events but as rainyday has clearly stated it's what makes u happy dt u should settle for.Recently,I was feelin soooo overwhelm with d whole ivf stuff I just needed a safe haven to relax,so I thought my best bet was to go down to Abuja (my parent's home)to relax,I have always been excited to go home see my siblings,nephews nd generally hving fun bt dis tym,I got was to many questions,so many pple suggesting diff opinions,I was so done with d situatn,I wanted to spend 2wks bt d way their wahala was too much,I had to leave after 6 days,my mum was sayin they are tryin to help I just told her dt I am not going bck untill I hv a child maybe I will be accepted back into d family.she has apologised,but truly I'm scared of visiting again,it was clear my lovely home was so COLD.Allah knows...

@zeezzy,ameen, I dey oooo my sis,its not been funny at all,counting down to my beta test,hopin for d best,insha Allah.for registration we paid 100k,wen we went d first tym a load down of our medical history nd blood tests was carried out,d second meeting was for examinatns I.e d scan.then we had d sonohysterogram done which was to check inside d uterus(30,000k)after d sono,d dr said there was a bit of blockage so d had to do hysteroscopy (200k)to correct it.for d treatment proper it's paid in cycles we paid for 2 cycles(880k)I think for 1 cycle its around 550k minus drugs nd test.so everytin we spent lyk approx 1.7m(2 cycles plus al d tests nd drugs).at d end of d day its all boils down to ur treatment plan,for ours we had to used extra treatment(imsi 170k)because of male factor,so it depends u might nt even spend up to 1m for d treatment nd d ivf is lyk 2wks max, u can pay instalmental bt it has to be paid b4 EC.most of their check up is by appointment so u can agree on wen is most suitable for u it cld b sats,except for d treatment proper which ur body wil have to dictate, I hope I was able to help a bit.masalam

@zeezzy Ameen ya Rabb,my sweet sisters d road is dark and narrow but by His will and light He makes d way easy.it hasn't been easy but every time I try to remind myself dt Allah knows best.At dis point I try to forget statistics or success rate,everytym I tell myself dt only Allah can do it,am sooooo emotional,everytin makes me cry,I know dt He sees every tear drop,nd he will give us only d best because His mercy surpasses our understanding.on a lighter note,I'm tryin to be positive during dis 2ww,so I have started pickin out lovely names,talk abt having Faith

Salam dear ummus in d house,siSters I can definately relate to d posts.I have been ttcing for 1 year nd ten months bt it seems lyk forever,somtyms it just feels like cryin my eyes out,d pressure has been on me partly becos my elders sisters got pregnant immediately they got married,but in all situation Alhamdulilah is all I can say.one book dt has help saved my sanity is "umm Abdillaah"by sis Mutiah Badruddeen.may Allah ease our paths cause He knows best.glad I found dis thread am sooooo @ home

My special family,@tani,by His will all will go well,for all my sisters in d waiting room our BFP's are indeed sure by Allah's will.just had my embrayo transfer done today,so here comes d great 2 weeks wait.

Hi evryone,its really nice to find a forum like this,all d very best to everyone on this journey,I pray that God will grant us all our heart desires.pls I nd my hubby are about to start our ivf Journey, we have done d basic test, I had my sono test ystdy my dr complianed dt d uterus wasn't Openin well and she said dt I wld need hysteroscopy,pls has anyone gone thru dis test and did have any impact on d outcome.thanks
