Today we were honoured by Senator Jubrin Walid, Chairman Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Ibrahim Mantu, former Deputy Senate President as they respectively performed the commisioning of the newly built and equipped Community Secondary School Eteo, Eleme LGA and the Government Secondary School Obeakpu-Ndoki, in Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State.

We believe education is the bedrock of our society and crucial educational infrastructure like these would be invaluable in moulding the future of our children.

The laudable achievements of the Borno state governor is a testament to the fact that Nigerians should hold state governors more accountable than the FG.

No doubt, Buhari has failed miserably, but state governors are the ones responsible for the state of the nation. They receive huge monthly allocations yet many have not implemented minimum wage and some even owing the old wage, owe pensioners, they fail to execute projects especially road networks, governors acts as emperors who determine the fate of local government and even deny this important tier of government the much needed funds for grassroot development.

They have large appointees like special assistants, senior special assistants useless ministries that perform duplicative functions, they borrow recklessly leaving the state in debts, loot state treasury when they serve their last tenure.

Nigerians make no mistake Buhari or the Federal government has failed. But we should not overlook the failure of state governors. They are responsible for the problems we face in the country.

It is for this reason I support parliamentary system of government not this current structure we run. It is for this reason I say that another enemy of the nation and its people are the lawmakers who should give us a constitution that determines the framework in which government runs.

Convenient for you guys to always point accusing fingers on public officials but fail to mention the retrogressive actions of the populace whom over the decades have contributed in no small measure in putting Nigeria in her current state.

The fact remains that corruption is not only in the public service but also endemic in the private sector, criminality of all sorts and economic saboteurs are replete in our society and everyone is to be held accountable, I'm very sure if you search deep or maybe not even very deep within you ...you find yourself culpable in one of these acts either by way of tax evasion, bribery of public or private officials, documents falsification, price racketeering etc.
