This is why I said the fight by the G5 and their supporters are selfserving. Now that the election has been won and lost, if the PDP chairman's seat had been ceded to south as canvassed by the G5 and their supporters, would they take it back to the north again as the election has been done and lost? I said it that the fight is self-centered and not rooted in principle. A candidate in an election is not a substantive holder until election is won. The G5 and their supporters should have waited till after election than the grandstanding they displayed. Your logic is very erroneous, the party constitution is very explicit on the issue of zoning of elective positions, the presidency went northward fairness demands the chairmanship position come southward, don't forget the dismissed erstwhile party chairman Uche secondus did not complete his tenure before Ayu was elected on the premise that the presidency should go southward.

Also bear in mind that the internal squabble within PDP actually lead to their defeat...Now it doesn't matter who is at the helm of affairs, Pdp have lost Abia, Benue and Sokoto states and one is not sure if the governments of Oyo, Rivers and Enugu will want to make financial contributions toward the national secretariat with Ayu at the head.

PDP would have performed a lot better if all hands were on deck..but Atiku's greed and Ayu's obvious dearth of neutrality saw to it that it never happened.
