I installed about 16 of those decoders when they were selling 4 15k. The 1st blew up in less than a month decoder and adaptor, the second started showing 'ur smart card is damaged or inserted upside down, even if I remove d smart card. A 3rd one just stopped working even though the adaptor is still ok. Yet another one is saying faulty smart card again until I switch it off and on, b4 it works again. When I called the customer care , they told me 2 there is no more swap and I should go and buy another one!Now the price is 27k.

If u have a good lnb and your dish is in perfect condition, you should though not guaranteed. I use a dstv 80cm b4 but it use to skip in the afternoon until I changed to 90cm strong dish. Since then my mbc has been above 65%. With that 80cm, you can get both w4 and Astra2b with 2 diff lnbs.

90cm dish is a little scarce around here. I got one from strong dealer after searching 4 long. The width is 90cm while the height is 100+cm. It's sold 4 4.5k depending on where you buy it. If it is strong, look at the accessories pack. It will be written , 90, Not 80. The 80 cm is d same with dstv regular dish but 90 is bigger. What do u want to use it 4? The 80cm may be ok.

What's d model and make?

When viewed from d lnb angle, it appears round measuring 81cm.

How much is the decoder

0.6m dish will do. Make sure you have up 2 90% and above on 12605v.

Try changing your audio channel from left to right or other way round.

Is there any TVC on Astra? Tvc is on w4 if I'm right.

I can build a charger to charge such batteries but my problem is over charging them. I don't know how to regulate the charge. This will require a special circuit. The problem is how to charge the battery when it runs out. The ups cannot charge such batteries

Whenever I format some systems, i will have to go and download the network and audio driver but I just upgraded 2 windows 7 and everything came up. Does it mean that the drivers are already on the cd 'win7' and not on xp?

BRITE02. With you 1.8 u shd b able to get good signal on w3. You problem must be the lnb skew. Try rotating it when you have highest signal. W3 is sometimes difficult on ground mount.

You would not believe it! Out of the 10 decoders I installed not quite 2 months, 2 are already burnt and one adaptor. What pained me most is that 4 almost one month now they have been telling me that no swapping. What do I tell my clients?

I have not seen anything wrong with the new s/w. I blindscanned, auto and manual scanned. Everyting was ok

I discovered I can view all the channels on 12284h on w4/7. Is it because of the of update on 69xII ?

The MBC HD channels can be received only with Technosat T786 decoder, the package is free once you purchase the decoder for 560 to 600 UAE Dirham.
it does not come on other HD receivers except Technosat T786.
