tzetzefly:

Why were you refused? A reason will be stated however trivial.

When did your parents immigrate to the States?

What are your job duties now and when did you get employed?

-They did not find me eligible to go to the u.s was what d Lady told me

-my Parents Migrated this year and i want to visit in September

- i got employed one and half years ago and i am a procurement professional
Travel / Re: Usa Visit Visa by ameeno: 11:32am On May 15, 2013
Hi,

Please i will like to apply for an american visa i was refused some years ago for no reason but i am guessing its because i was unemployed and single.

I have a job right now even though i am engaged and not married yet.
i have a lil hesitation in applying because my Dad and mum just got an immigrant visa and are presently in the U.S leaving with my sister and i dont want them thinking i want to run away which is certainly not the case.

Please what do you advice??
Education / Re: Madonna University, Okija, Suspends 200 Students For 'bribery'. by ameeno: 9:30am On Apr 15, 2013
That is nothing new in Madonna
the parents of the affected should stand up for their rights and not sit at home complaining

Edomo: On the 22nd of March, 2013, over 200 students were suspended for one year in Madonna University, Okija, Anambra state. These students were asked by their lecturers, to submit their assignments with the sum of 1000 naira each. The school authorities heard this and immediately expelled the course representative and suspended the students involved for a whole year. Is this justice? What kind of psychological trauma will those students be going through now that their mates are in school and they are at home about to waste a year of their lives. What do you think?

u clearly have nothing meaningful to say as u cant understand simple English...anyway thank you for taking time out of schedule to respond.

globechamp: Your career path is unclear. You work in an oil and gas firm, seeing yourself in an oil and gas firm, moving into oil and gas banking into politics as a minister/perm sec. Does that even make sense to you?
Exams is a waste of resources if you dont know where you are headed.

I guess you should figure that out first and question yourself before seeking NL advise
Career / Urgent Help!!! Erp Versus Cfa by ameeno: 9:14am On Feb 26, 2013
Hello everyone,

please i need your advice on which professional exam to take.

i am currently working with an oil and gas firm in the trade unit and i want to boost my CV and myself to move unto greater heights.

i see myself in a couple of years working in a multinational oil and gas firm, probably moving into oil and gas banking and lastly into politics as a minister or perm. sec.

On that note please advise on which professional exam i should write Energy Risk Professional ERP or Certified Financial Analyst CFA.

Thank you.

Travel / Re: A Comprehensive List Of The Documents Required For Visas by ameeno: 1:09pm On Feb 11, 2013
Vicjustice: Its boring to hear people asking "what documents" that are required for this or that visa, and i see that no matter how many individuals that are answered, there will continue to be many others who will ask the same question over again. It doesn't make much of a sense to ask this same question or to keep on answering it to everyone who asked it, so, i've decided to create this narrative list to answer the question conclusively.
Here are the documents that are required of visa applicants of every category. This article is subject to modification and updates:

* Invitation letter or accommodation details from the country you intend to visit;
*(If on invitation by ad individual,) a copy of the bio-data page of the passport of the person inviting you.
* Your national passport or travel document with at least 6 months to expiration;
* (If you are an alien resident in the country that you are applying from,) evidence of permission to remain in the country: ie, a residence permit or appropriate long-term visa;
* Passport sized colour photographs, not more than 6 months old;
* (If employed,) a letter from your employer granting leave of absence from your job for a specified period. The letter should also say how long you have been employed by that employer, in what job(s) and should indicate when you are expected back at work;
* (If self-employed,) evidence of your business activities and financial standing;
* (If a student,) a letter from your school stating what course you are on, its start and finish dates and the dates of the holiday period during which you intend to travel abroad;
Note: if you are not working you should include financial documents of the person who is supporting you; if someone else is paying for your trip, You would be expected to explain why you are being sponsored and to demonstrate how your sponsor will benefit from your trip.
* (If applicable,) evidence of any property you own in your home country (if applicable);
* Details of any firm travel plans you have made ie itinerary:
Warning! Do not book a flight because, you will forfeit your money if your visa is refused. itinerary does not mean flight ticket, it means travel plans;
* Bank statements showing up to six months transaction details, must show sources of income:
Warning! Avoid Money Lodgement, you will be refused without question.
* (If apllicable,) evidence of any income from other sources e.g. friends, family, savings, property etc
* (If applicable and/or if the purpose of the trip has got something to do with family,) Evidence of family relationship and marital status ie Birth Certificate and/or Marriage or Civil Partnership Certificate, divorce certificate, death certificate (of spouse)
*(If applying to join a spouse,) Evidence of relationship and communications or correspondences with your spouse: ie telephone details; emails; posts or/and photos of both of you together.
* (If applying to join a spouse or family,) Birth certificate or Age Declaration document
* It is very important to be able to show Ties or Obligations to return to.
Note: Although, family or social ties and responsibilities are recommended, but logically, family ties aren't considered as strong as other ties because, there are vast cases of seekers involving in immigration fights to bring their family to join them, but yet, the magnitude of the family may be considered
* (If an ex-convict) The official record of any conviction(s), detailing the crime(s) you were convicted of and the sentence(s) you received
* The appropriate fee and 1 million dollars for Vicjustice
Note: You must provide original documents. Failure to submit original documents may mean your application is delayed or refused.
HARD DOCUMENTS are documents that carry Security Authentications; or Stamps; or Seals; or Signatures; or Apostiles, etc: (For example a Marriage Certificate), such documents must be submitted in their original states. Any other document that does not carry any of the mentioned authentication is allowed to be submitted in photocopy state: Your hard documents will be returned back to you in due ty.

Your questions or contributions or concerns are welcome here
please what is your email address i really really need your help and its kinda urgent thank you

Autos / Re: Hyundai Accent 2012 Vs Kia RIO 2012 by ameeno: 1:02pm On Dec 07, 2012
Denn: the rio is cheaper (for the same features). they share the same chassis and engine platform....most parts to except the 'coverings'.

In Nigeria, the Rio has only the 1.4L versions while the accent has an option for the 1.6L.

the rio looks more masculine and its a newer introduction to the market....the accent is already gettin 'old'.

Thanks a bunch

Romance / Re: At What Age Should A Woman Start Getting Worried About Marriage by ameeno: 10:57am On Nov 14, 2012
Temi 23: @OP, am almost in the same shoe like you ,the pressure from my office is even more than my home like saying " when are you sharing the aso ebi" and sometime I responds to them that " please am still a young babe. But my problem is at this age that I have not been in any relationship before due to my choosy habit(more than 25) oh and I have hundreds of men begging all the time but I no see my choice oh. But now with pressure from both side office and home I just think what we need here is prayer. Marriage is not something you rush into so that we won't rush out. Though I have ni experience in relationship but meh I read a lot that really make me to teach people a little I know. OP, you are young and at the same time you need to shy your eye so that you won't rush later. All the best.
thanks
Romance / Re: At What Age Should A Woman Start Getting Worried About Marriage by ameeno: 1:53pm On Nov 13, 2012
roseybridge: OP, you sound totally like me! I am quite pretty, but I noticed that after the steady relationship I had going in 2010 ended I've been zooming through men (some 2 week relationships shocked) and haven't had anything steady since then. I mean...it's crazy! I went from having someone worshiping me everyday for 2yrs to having absolutely no one(worshiper or not). And my mum's not helping issues at all. ALWAYS telling me to get married etc etc.

I also got worried....I started seeing some logic in what she was saying....I'm 23yrs old with no commitment whatsoever, and I want to get married by 25 and I want to have dated the guy for at least 18 months before marriage and here I am with NO boyfriend....my sister, at a point I had to sit and start re-assessing myself and even prayed about it too...lol. Anyway, I started dating a guy last week (lemme cross my fingers and pray it works out), although my mum already said I can't marry from Kogi state, coz I'm Igbo....that's her opinion though...as long as I'm convinced that he's the "one", I will marry him.

In conclusion....I think you should be a bit worried...its natural....you can have everything good in the world, but when you do not have love or specifically love from that "one" person....it's the pits. I know its cool sometimes saying "I'm single" and all that but....nothing compares to sharing your victories and sad moments with that "one" person...its probably coz he's not compelled to listen and love you like your family is, but has come to you on his own accord to give u all those good stuff for free.

P.S- Perhaps you shouldn't look for TDH(Tall, Dark, Handsome)but do look out for one that has a good job/prospect. I think that is what matters most, but you must still be physically attracted to him. (My bf is not the cutest, but I console myself with couples like Heidi&Seal etc etc and he is very nice, intelligent,confident, hard working and has truckload of prospects grin)
Thanks a lot for taking time out to write this... am truly inspired

pwettytemmy: U shouldn't be worried at 23 dear, pple get married at 35 n it works for them, same people also get married at 20 n it works for them. God's time is d best. Study yourself very well to know what's gud for u and wat u want. Don't rush because people are getting married in oda not t go with the wrong person. If u rush in, there's tendency for rushing out. At 23 u should be in a relationship, bt if u aren't, its not too late n it doesn't calls for worrying. Give chance for a man in ur life if u av any one at hand n if u don't, look within u if u av any attitude pushing them away n make amends. Bt remember dat no one is catching late comers for marriage. Go for it when u feel you're phsycologically, emotionally,financially n matured enof for it. All d best.
thanks

sanb: Age shouldn’t be a determining factor for marriage. You’ve got to be ready mentally and emotionally cos marriage is not a bed of roses. You’re still young; build yourself up a bit, be happy with yourself, learn more about yourself and look for someone you’re compatible with...Don’t allow anyone to put pressure on you to marry when you’re not ready so that you don’t rush into the marriage and rush out of it. All the best....smiley
