His intellectual steadfastness is such a blessing to me. Even more, his simple life, an intergenerational example Great writer. |
@GovAyoFayose just got paid back in his own coin for 2014. What a man done a man, a man done a man back. Anyways, my congratulations are in order to @kfayemi. The governor elect of @ekitistategov. |
It's better he had to resign because he had nothing to offer to the PDP. During the last election, I was puzzle to hear that Ondo state lost to APC when the siting governor was a PDP member. It was rubbish. |
I remember when the name Manchester United meant something. When players left their everything on that pitch, win, lose or draw. When money wasn't the driving force & the honour of wearing the shirt was motivation enough. I'm saddened that it no longer seems to be the case #mufc |
This is not nice, though a thief is a thief, but she might acted on the circumstances of our shambolic economy. She's hungry. |
This is barbaric. Such a woman should be sentence to life imprisonment. |
He could have called ten thousand angels They bound the hands of Jesus in the garden where he prayed. They led him thru the streets in shame They spat upon the savior so pure and free from sin They said, "crucify him: he's to blame He could have called ten thousand angels To destroy the world and set him free He could have called ten thousand angels But he died alone, for you and me. Upon his precious head they placed a crown of thorns They laughed and said, "Behold the king" They struck him and they cursed him and mocked his holy name. All alone he suffered everything. When they nailed him to the cross, his mother stood nearby, He said, "Woman, behold thy son!" He cried, "I thirst for water," but they gave him none to drink. Then the sinful work of man was done. To the howling mob he yielded: he did not for mercy cry The cross of shame he took alone. And when he cried, "It’s finished," he gave himself to die Salvation's wondrous plan was done. |
Such is life. We'll all die one day, the question is, where is he going to now? Now that we're fortunate to be alive, what legacy have we kept? Is it for good or bad. Heaven is real. If you miss heaven, you won't miss hell. May His soul rest in peace. He's completed his task on this mortal plain, he's awaiting judgment. God bless us all. |
This is very sad and pathetic. My condolences to the husband. May the Lord heal the wound has has gotten. |
Does hate speeches stop government from performing? This is also worrisome. Instead of providing solutions to the mess they have got Nigerians into, they are busy monitoring hate speeches. Shithole government. Does America monitors their prominent people social media accounts? Provide the change you promised the gullible and stop being silly. Shambolic government |
"But Obasanjo stole 4 HB pencils in JSS2."
"But Obasanjo toasted my dad's girlfriend in 1969."
"But Obasanjo said this last September."
"But Obasanjo supported Buhari in 2015." All these narratives are irrelevant. Let us focus on the issues at hand. |
Lies of the century. Akpabio debunked this cheap lies. He applauds the governor for the good things he's done in the state. My advice to the media, leave falsehood and cheap propaganda. Write truthful news. It's the media that are instigating greater percentage of the problems we're facing and having in this shithole country. |
We are in shambles. They called us shitholes because our leaders ain't right. They give to us bad governance that's why are people left to the foreign lands to be addressed and called shitholes. Nothing is working here, what's the President trying? |
Since Mourinho and Conte's spat: Chelsea have played 4 and won 0 and in 3 of them games scored 0 United have played 2 and won 2 It appears it has breathed new life into mourinho and completely derailed conte. |

This one didn't even know Jesus. What will happen to his soul now? Untimely death. |
Pogba, Martial & Rashford....that's a hell of a nucleus to build on. This could be the most exciting Utd team we've had for many years #mufc |
Paul Pogba's influence on this team is so high. Literally makes everything tick. Powerhouse of the midfield, and also makes the forward runs and tracks back when required. What a man. So glad he's with us. He's 36 years old, he just had a serious knee injury, he made it back in record time and is first attempt on goal was lying sideways in the air performing a martial arts styled kick. The guy might actually be right when he says he's not human. Dare to Zlatan. |
Welove Huddersfieldfc 100% deserve this win. Hardly beating the door down. Lindelof having a "Pique at Bolton" kind of game. When Ashley Young is your most creative player you know you have problems. Yes! We had problems today. The best team won. I'm a Manchester United fan. |
For a man of his calibre to cry like this is very pitiful. I feel for him. May the good Lord console him. My thoughts are with his family. |
Nigeria itself is a joke. Why won't the force be a joke too? The case is closed already. There will be no investigation. |
Atleast, he has been able to unearth his own given talent. This is phenomenal. May God give him more grace and wisdom. Awesome! |
He's a force that was being reckoned for. Such a player deserves some respect. |
We live in a country where some are beginning to feel sympathy for Evans the kidnapper. All of you are mad. Kidnappers deserve no mercy. |
This is very wrong. You register with your BVN first and your bank account. You will be moved to stage two were you will see your identification number to copy out, then you still proceed to the next stage. |
June 12! You talk about Abiola and the election and I talk about University of Uyo and the riot. This day in 2013 reminds me that while many teachers in primary and secondary schools love their students, many in Nigerian universities hate their students and so with passion. This day reminds me that many elders in our country today strive to bury tomorrow today by constantly attempting to eat off the fruit and its seed, just to ensure that nobody plants the seed. #DayToRemember AK Kingsley |

The one thing that would greatly disappoint the average Super Eagles supporter is the fact that goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune was largely untroubled. It was such a shocking performance. Something has to change about our football. The name of your club shouldn't determine who gets to start games in the national team. |
Lot's of people not liking performance/result tonight...agree but it's not like we (or other teams) haven't played 'average' in past #weird |
Hi friends, For proper clarification on mother's day celebration. Since our mother's are so precious and worth to be celebrated everyday, buh if we want to do it in respect to the UN designated days for it, don't be misunderstood that Mother's Day is celebrated at different dates across the world. Here in Nigeria, 26th Of March was our own mother's day celebration, we do celebrate it wif the likes of Ireland, United Kingdom, Guernsey, and Jerse. Today is 14th of May, and it's for countries like USA, Columbia, China etc. These are very important to note and know. As for me, I celebrate my beautiful momma everyday because she's worth celebrated. I love her... Thank you. Have a spectacular Sunday. |
So many politicians converged today in Minna, Niger state, for the wedding ceremony of Ibrahim Babangida's daughter. This gathering has proven to us that there are no permanent "frienemies" as far as politics in Nigeria is concerned. They are always united with a common goal in mind regardless of their party affiliations - loot the national treasury as much as you can and impoverish the masses. Over the years, they have succeeded in the execution of their carefully mapped out strategies in sublime fashion. These things would never have been possible if we did not give them the liberty to do so. Hence, our minds have been abused for so long that we now celebrate mediocrity. It becomes so worrisome that the youths who have been malnourished for aeons now defend these political vultures online and offline. Our ability to reason clearly has been sacrificed on the altar of tribalism and religious sentiments. Our actions and inactions make stupidity seem to be a lucrative venture with the best returns on investment. Poverty induced policies are made and readily approved, but when it comes to human capital development policies, they are quickly thrown out of the window or swept under the carpet. With the current situation of things, it would be easier for the Atlantic ocean to dry up than this country to witness progress. It therefore raises more questions than answers and i cringe for tomorrow. With each passing day, the facts become clearer. Are we ready for what is about to happen? |
