Though she was uneducated, Bisi had a way of seeing the world that made her invaluable to her husband. Kwame found himself leaning on Bisi for advice, something he never did with Wura.

The three co-existed in relative peace, though there were occasional tensions. Wura saw Kwame's favoritism towards Bisi and resented it, while Bisi was often frustrated by Wura's superior attitude. Despite their differences, they put their faith and trust in Kwame, who always managed to create a balance between them. One day, tragedy struck. Kwame died unexpectedly, leaving Wura and Bisi to fend for themselves. Without Kwame there to keep things in check, tensions between the two women escalated. Wura saw an opportunity to take control of the household, and Bisi was determined to make sure that would not happen.

A bitter rivalry erupted between them, leading to constant bickering and a hostile home environment. Though their relationship had deteriorated, the two women still respected their late husband's wishes. Wura and Bisi decided to remain together and continue the arrangement they had with Kwame, sharing the home and raising the children as a team. Over time, the two began to understand each other better and even grew to become friends. They learned from each other and developed a new appreciation for the polygamous lifestyle. Despite the difficulties that had occurred, they were able to find a way to make it work and both experienced a great sense of being cared for and looked after.
