How long does it take your TETE, SHOKO, and EWEDU to mature if you are growing from seeds?

It would be foolish of him not to choose the money. There isn't intermediary to help pray to God. We all have equal access to God and a level playing ground.

Agriculture / Re: How I Got Half Basket Of Tomatoes From This Sack Garden by amerengues(m): 6:08pm On Jun 17
Its unfortunate that the education we have in Nigeria is to keep chasing non-existent jobs on the street. At least I know of few persons laughing during this period because of their small farm. If you don't have farm, use your garden provided the landlord agrees.

In the UK, there is something they call allotment plot. It can be about 100 plots in an area and ¹/4 quarter is allotted to people who indicate they want to farm their food. Still in their locality(15 mins walk as I just applied for one). US, UK, Canada etc love gardening. Even the comfortable ones do because they feel they are eating home made veggies that taste well and fresh.

As much as things are hard and the environment is not enabling for farming, even when they give jobless people free plot, training etc they would still prefer the tie-knotting 30k monthly job.

However, this is not to exonerate and absorb the government of their responsibility. This should go hand in hand with effective government policies to resurrect Nigeria

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Tottenham Hotspur Vs Arsenal (2 - 3) On 28th April 2024 by amerengues(m): 1:45pm On Apr 28
A lot of football pundits undermines the effortz of Arsenal so far! Arsenal would win owing to their determination. We need to give kudos to them. Arteta has done a great job.

However, it's not about the 'trying' but result. This is the best time for Arsenal to ace the elusive league- they can ask Klopp how he has run out of steam.

CITY for the trophy but it's going to be a very hard one and few upsets in the last few games.

Singular advice for Arsenal is:
Make sure you win the league else, you continue playing second fiddle.

I see Arsenal winning today but I pray they draw for CITY to win.

If Chelsea starting line up is effective, they would give Arsenal a tough time, else, Arsenal should win.

I honestly don't know Man City's offence for this stinking prejudice and nonchalance on Nairaland.

Please, starting putting CITY'S game on front page. The league is delicately poised to a frenetic end as every game now is almost a nail-biting affair as the three teams are almost at par.

This would be a difficult game for CITY. The defence would be leaky and I hope Walker comes back on time.

One of the greatest lessons of this life is never to give up! Breaking records at his old age! Breaking far more credible and laudable records even after coming back from retirement.

Nigerians are just too toxic, pessimistic and unreasonable. The move by the fed govt is a good one. Isn't it better to address ghost workers?! Let's know those we have on ground to aid accountability, Recruitment, and those in service. That the root cause is the reason doesn't hold water- we already know that. They aren't forced to stay back. Resign then travel

Pls … how is it a shame? I believe farmers will be smiling to the bank now.

What I meant was that, Nigeria, as a country, should be raking in money now if we had improved these crops. We aren't making any significant revenue and our cocoa production has significantly dwindled to lowest low.

Manchester CITY is better playing false 9. Haaland is just too wasteful! Those who check LiveScore wouldn't understand. If you had watched all CITY game, even by his stat, he has been wasteful. He has missed the most chances in premier league. He needs competition

Honestly, I can't believe people try to compare this guy to Ronaldo or Messi! There is a reason those guys are etched in the annals of history.

Corruption is endemic and systemic in Nigeria! The samr people shouting bad government are orchestrating heinous act!

In sum, some people are angry because they aren't in power & they would do worse

By the way, it's either these ones didn't settle them or something else. It's been long this has been happening

ASUU should hide his gun for now. Don't add to us parents headache. The government is broke, and no money to pamper ASUU, and there is hunger in the land.

Is that why they should be paid the same Salary since 2009?!

Food / Re: Reps Move To Ban Styrofoam, Others In Nigeria by amerengues(m): 9:56pm On Feb 14
It is a welcomed development as proactive climes have swung into action by banning it. The world is intentionally conscious of anything detrimental to our health and Nigeria should ban it.

However, I am just wondering how people would get cheap takeaway to replace it. Reusable containers as opined in the writeup should be cheap.

The commentator is saying the play should always be stopped when d ball is in offside position. He should know why d play is always on in such circumstance. The VAR is there to check if a goal is offside or not. So that why play is always allowed to go on in a potentially offside position. He shud know better

He isn't entirely wrong! Ask Man City yesterday.......they lost their goal keeper to injury because a glaring offside was allowed to play at 2 mins into the match. If it's very glaring, they should raise the flag, else, we don't need linesmen again since VAR is there.
