BlueMann:3 to go!! 1st piece of silverware for Sonia Bompastor |
Chelsea 2-1 City City equalized and have been very dominant this 2nd half, but Chelsea went ahead through an own goal from Hasegawa, after a great work from Bronze and Ramirez about 5 minutes, plus stoppages to go |
BlueMann:She fluffed a 1v1 to make it 2-0 some minutes ago |
Lol We were paired together in the UCL quarter finals which made it much more interesting |
@BlueMann, how do the girls navigate this period? ![]() We have not been so assertive and convincing in our play lately We start this afternoon with the League Cup final
|
fredoooooo:Level on aggregate now!! |
Good goal from KDH |
This has to be the worst half of the season, cos what's this?? ![]() |
Lol Stamford Bridge is always very quiet now...See Copenhagen fans screaming their souls out |
bisqit:And who do you think you are? ![]() You come here every now and then and quote almost everyone, spewing your nonsense all over the thread Stay off my mentions ![]() |
Both teams are dead tired... High-octane all game!! |
The guys won, The Ladies won, both 1-0 scorelines, no one got injured, Caicedo escapes yellow card, let's move on ➡️ |
People sha just dey hold on to their different agendas ![]() |
bisqit:I might agree with this because we had a respectable tournament, even though USA trashed us 7-0 abi 6-0, I cant recollect. The game against Brazil stands out for me because of the comeback and the nature by which we lost the game The 2023 team should have done better considering the attack we had. The defence was okay though, keeping 3 clean sheets in 4 very tough games |
bisqit:USA '99 which in my opinion was our best outing at the world cup so far...I could put our performance in Australia '23 side by side, because it was similar to our performance in '99 On both occasions, we were paired alongside the hosts, ( USA in '99 and Australia in 2023) and we were in the toughest group, which we still managed to navigate and qualify, and also almost qualified in the knockout rounds on both occasions. 1999 was where we came back from 3-0 down in the QF against Brazil to draw 3-3 normal time, and they couldn't believe it.. If not for red card and golden goal wey dem use comot our girls back then |
bisqit:Lol, no be today I don dey watch women's footie.. I have watched women's football, specifically the super falcons from the days of dem Precious Dede, Kikelomo Ajayi, Mercy Akide, Stella Mbachu, Vera okolo, Perpetua Nkwocha and more .. When Warri used to be the slaughter house for the falcons, much like Uyo is home for the SE these days I can tell you for a fact that women's football has improved so much over the years, and the quality is only getting better and better. |
BlueMann:Yeah, United are really strong, especially their defense. I felt the girls looked a bit tired after the international break |
Amethyst101:Finished 2-2 Lauren James with the equalizer in the 2nd half. Our Lead at the top of the table now down to 5 points after United also won today Next fixtures: Leicester home (WSL), Palace home (FA cup) Then 4 fixtures in a row vs Manchester City - league cup final, Champions League QF double header, and a WSL fixture in between! |
The women are down 1-2 at halftime away at Brighton Sandy Baltimore opened scoring for the Blues, but we conceded twice already. Not looking good |
BlueMann:Apparently, it was Maresca's instruction to him not to play it long. "My message to Filip was, ‘If you play long ball, I will change you’. So he was just doing what I said to him. [...] It’s difficult for all the keepers but they are just following the planI no understand this Maresca again ![]() |
airmark:It still baffles me how we're still even in the conversation for 4th place despite this bad form we are in... Just 2 wins from our previous games, and we could have been solidly 3rd or 4th at worst by now... ![]() |
Gucciboy:I won't even be remotely shocked if we lose to Southampton on Tuesday. Our next 4 games are as follows: Southampton (Home) Copenhagen (Away) Leicester (Home) Copenhagen (Home). If we do not win all 4 of those games, it's a wrap for Maresca. Injuries or not, there isn't an ounce of leeway in dominating those games. Because after those four, it's Arsenal (Away) - spuds (Home) - Brentford (Away), or in simple terms 3 guaranteed losses in a row. |
So much for the Team A and Team B roster that we had earlier in the season. Just look at our bench for God's sake ![]() |
"I cut am like this, cut am like that" ![]()

The coach calling him out like that was unnecessary. He might be a bad penalty taker, but he has been one of your most consistent players this season, never mind last season's exploits. Heck, he was just coming back from a spell on the sidelines and even scored a goal in the game! Not that I support him dropping a "statement" though, because this now complicates things a bit... |
So much for the “massive” squad that everyone else was criticising. This is what we have left to get us through the season: 2 strikers - both injured 5 wingers - 1 injured, 1 banned, 1 teenager, and 2 out of form 2 attacking midfielders - 1 out of form (by his standards), 1 stopped trying 4 midfielders - 1 high quality, 1 decent, 1 injured, the other is KDH 1 left back - that’s right… just 1 6 centre backs - 2 injured, 2 decent, 1 average, 1 teenager 2 right backs - 1 coming back from injury, 1 out of form 2 goalkeepers - 1 is decent, the other is Sanchez We currently have maybe ONE quality player that is playing well - Caicedo - and ONE quality player that has had a rough few games but will still be run into the ground because we have no other options - Palmer. Cucurella is having a very good season, but there is no back up. Reece is great.… when he’s fully fit. That’s it. That’s our team. I haven’t included Anselmino or Amougou because they haven’t played yet and don’t deserve to be lumped in with this mess, although it’s hard to see what difference they’ll make. And to top it all off, we have a coach with no Plan B. Hell, he hasn’t got much of a Plan A in the first place. ![]() |
Ibime:That one don mentally check out of this club... Body language is very annoying |
See Tarkowski, a defender hitting the ball as it should be hit I dont know if I will ever see a day our own MJ will finish like that ![]() |
The final game at Goodison park |
Salah alone has made this gameweek a bountiful harvest for FPL managers 100+ points almost everywhere I look! ![]() |
Leyqute:I had to do a quick search to check the guy. He's Argentine |
Everton have a player named Carlos Alcaraz ke? |
