Pharoh:
Nah brother i am not using their method . . . every country should try and develop the way that best suits it.

India, china, south korea and singapore are doing it their own way so we should simply formulate our own policies that is suitable for us which will lead to a sustainable growth and development.

For me instead of paying people unemployment benefit instead they will have to pay additional taxes for being unemployed to the number of years which they were above 18 years and unemployed  whenever they find a job. You just don't stay idle that you unemployed and unskilled when there are many unskilled jobs to do in the country. Infact you go to jail or you are forced to the military if you stay unemployed for more than one years. No citizen should be idle, you must be doing something that is beneficial to the country even if you have the money.

Yahoo yahoo boys are lavishing their money here and there instead they should be put to jail for not investing their money in something that is beneficial to the country.
@Pharoh,

Good Valid points.

We are simply not productive and the article says it will come to a time when our over population will not match our slow paced productivity.
@Pharoh,

Productivity measured by British & America Standards will give you disastrous consequences.

This is why their English Value system can not be applied in Nigeria because Nigeria is a totally diffrent country. Lets start back giving the kings and traditional rulers some autonomy.

TV/MoviesRe: Kajola - Another Reflection Of Naija Ineptitude by Amhatu(m): 3:28pm On Aug 10, 2010
@Amhatu
All the movies in da U.S. and Europe make most of their earnings from theaterical release than DVD sales. Over there they have thousands of cinema house but in Nigeria we have only 8 cinemas nationwide.
I see what you are saying. But I think it is a mistake to base these figures off of Europe and america.

Reason being is that majority in Nigeria do not have access to cinemas, they will have access to local market seller booths,dvd-vcd players and cell phones.

Also the future with Phones like the Sony Ericsson C905i http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones/overview/c905 & Sony Ericsson TV-out Cable ITC-60 http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessories/overview/itc-60?undefined ,Directors and Producers can have thier on web mediapages charge for the movie and the Nigerian movie buyer can download to phone and watch anytime on bigscreen tv or on phone or even buy a DVD/VCD from them directly. The Big Corprates will get jealous, probably mostly foriegn and who cares how you going to stop over 20 million Nigerian phone customers. The Digital is where the future is heading . Cinema will still play a role but how quick would you profit buy charging 10 million customers from all over nigeria to watch a movie on the phone or newer hdtV that also have Digital internet capablity . It will be intresting to see but Nigeria has a bright future ahead.

Pulling a Movie from 1 cinema will not give the Big Corprates power over Nigerian Directors or Producers.

TV/MoviesRe: Kajola - Another Reflection Of Naija Ineptitude by Amhatu(m): 12:24am On Aug 10, 2010
No film can be judged by jealous persons not wanting Nigerians to succeed. What will you do when Directors & Producers in Nigeria collaborate to open up thier on Cinemas,Uh!

Really dont matter what the jealous people say  because the Vcd or DVD will out sell the Cinema ten fold if marketed accordingly.

The Cinema is a good Advertising medium but for the masses of this digital age, digital media rules. . Get it!

I hope the producer of the movie keeps producing & Financing Nigerian Directors. Everyone knows  success does not come quickly sometimes.

So Glad The Producer realizes that there are many states in Nigeria to show his Movie, never give up bros!!!

watch Kajola !!

PoliticsRe: See What Sanusi Has Done To HiTV. They've Lost Premiership Rights! Painful! by Amhatu(m): 12:29am On Jul 27, 2010
@ PapaBrowne, Well Stated your 1st & 2nd post (I may be a little off Topic but feel i should say this). The  stations AfricaMagic & DSTV are owned  by South African Companies.

Not Anything against any South African but it seems corprate intrest in South Africa refuses to loan money to Nigerians and have attitudes towards Nigerians.

Now it seems these same corprate intrest have eased thier intrest to put a wedge between Ghanians and Nigerians.

We must really think now! I believe this is a attack on HitV(Nigerians) & the West Africa Film industry for control of our African content.

The root attack is targeted at Nigeria but aimed at Ghana through Nigeria Movie Success as been third largest (improving & growing).

The Recent ordeal with Hitv (Nigerian),seems thier trying to destroy Nigerian credibility by not letting it broadcast or have access to foriegn programming to have larger appeal.

The Upcomming Actors & producers (Ghanians and Nigerians) must not Fight each other but get to the root of the problem.

For example look at the Filthy movies that have tried to ease there way into Nigeria and was recently banned by Nigerian Censorship Board.

I garentee you these filthy people are trying to drive Nigerian Films a certain way from its original Nigerian Roots.

Movies like Ijele, Hamza, Beuatiful Soul,Amina (TChidi Chikere type of Style)as well as many  other Nigerian Producers have great talent showing the naija touch.

Just Hope Sanusi understands & not let upcomming small Nigerian Business men & Women Suffer, thought Chukwuma Soludo was a much better Central Bank Manager though.

Goodday,

Nairaland GeneralRe: When Will Nigeria Wake Up From It Deep Sleep by Amhatu(m): 4:29pm On Jul 26, 2010
NTAi  should take the lead (media wise) must be made available from satellite(for Nigerians in Diaspora) all over the world with a interactiive website that surpases youtube.

The future of Nigeria's image will depend on sites like Nairaland.com,naijapals.com,naijaboss.com (etc, etc) and any other naija centered sites.

Digital web and Televison will merge .

It remains a mystery why some media houses have not caught on.

Information through the web is transfered faster than any media house ,digital-media ,news etc all can be done from web & broadcast along with satellite while saving huge on resources ,can also look much better than tradtional in house media studios.

Our image is dependent on ourselves we can not blame anybody else.

what are u saying? do u understand football at all b4 i waste my time

was Mourhinho under contract when he was fired? Benitez? Ramos? Zola?
and whats the meaning of sack sef?
It is usually an unceremonious or forceful rejection of someone who was legally engaged
so a sack would definitely contravene stipulated and signed agreements hence the need for compensation
Amodu can eat grass for all i care, he started the rot in the team

i dont wanna do amodu talk here
lets talk about kaita, Yakubu and Obasi
You can insult me all you want, I understand well. It really is a shame what NFF has done.

Even if he is brother does not give right for NFF to do such person under contract ( NFF using fear tactics)

what exactly did NFF do wrong?
i want to know now now now
cos this din about NFF is getting too much

was it NFF that missed that goal?
In my opinion ,Nigerian Footbal Federation (NFF)Hired a coach  humilating Amodu and using fear tactics during African Cup of nations, distracting Amudo  about his job through the media during his tenure .
(Thats only one thing many others regarding contract etc) search what Amodu said about it and others on the forum like Sagamite
The surprise here is not that they lost, it's that people really expected them to win. . . I'm sorry oh but are you people HIGH on cow dunkhuh!!!!!

Other countries had their team members in the country, practicing months before the tournament, your Nigerian team members stroll in at the last min like the other teams are there to sell groundnut. Nonsense!!

You guys don't have a national team, you have a bunch of people wearing the same jerseys, running around the field like headless chickens.

Don't blame the coach, the best coach in the world can't train people who aren't there.

Don't blame Kaita because shite happens.

Blame everyone on the team because they thought they could do this half-assed like they do everything else in this god forsaken country.

From the moment the scored the first goal, I knew they were gonna lose because Nigerians have a tendency to relax when they are ahead. . . it's barely 30mins into the game and you relax like you've won already? Who does that?!! silly lots!

Gooooooo GHANA!!!!

PS
No amount of prayers is gonna help them, so just get ready to roll out the welcome back home carpet.

Once again. . . GOOOOOOO GHAAAAAAAANA!!!
@ Sisi_Kill >> it is only the corrupt in Circles of Power.  The Nigerian Premier Leauge Teams (2) Heartland FC, Kano Pillars, are are among and ranked the best in africa. So please stop Generalizing Nigerians because of NFF mistakes!

I wonder does NFF Officals know the Nigerian National Anthem. What a Joke.
