Alright. Happy Sunday first. Let's talk about Peter and Tithing.

Acts of the Apostles will help us understand this very well. Peter was an apostle but Christ left him a command to feed his sheep. Peter was the rock on which the church was built. Even though the church then was not denominational and as such we cannot say what the name of the church he founded was, we can see some things that happened in the church.

Acts 4, the later part of it talked about the unity of the early church and how they sold their possessions and broke bread even to the point of having everything in common.

Verse 5 gives us the account of Ananias and his wife, who sold their possessions and kept part of the money only to come and lie to Peter and of course you know what happened to them. Death.

Go to verse 6, when Stephen and six others were appointed to be in charge of serving tables when widows and the fatherless began to murmur about the poor service they were getting. What does this tell you? How were they coming about the things they had in the storehouse to share?

Let's move to Hebrews. Chapter 7 talked about Abraham tithing even before Aaron the priest came to the picture. Before Leviticus, a man Abraham tithed to Melchizedek, a priest. This priest can be compared to Jesus. Therefore, it wasn't an old testament thing, believers today are still expected to pay their tithes to Jesus, our great high priest.

Because the week before, he jumped on stage with excitement after her performance he hugged and pecked her on stage. What does that tell you?

That guy is real!
He holds his carrot and stick. If you do well, he praises you. If you perform poorly, he criticizes you. That's an unbiased judge for you.

Where I learnt those workplace skills. I mentioned in the beginning that I read a book on a bus and title of the book is 'Office Politics'. Actually, I didn't finish the whole text but I did meet the lady twice and scanned through all the chapters. It was a good read, believe me.

Have I had cause to try them and prove that they work? Absolutely! I must admit. I didn't just write things that are not practicable in Nigeria. They are everyday happenings and proven strategies in Nigeria's average offices.

Currently I'm reading 'How to excel at work' by Billi Odum and I'm loving it too. Got it from my office library.

Emmy himself shared real life challenges he is facing at work and we tried to advice him accordingly. Let's hope the advice did work

My dear women are still bringing in ladies for their husbands to lay with and have kids through them. My very close friend is a product of this. Her mum was married by another woman for her husband because she couldnt have her own children. All the kids her mum had were the Woman's Children, they never saw their biological mother as their mum until that woman died.

Well ders d idea that it can be genetic at times, thus u find that some people develop peculiar personality traits despite growing up in an environment that's very social.
For some others, and I mean many, the environment where they grew up dictates and moulds the kind of person they grow up to become. might be d immediate environment like ur home, ur family. U large in number or small? Ur family members d boisterous or quiet type? Outside the family, let's not forget friends,neighbours classmates,acquaintances, enemies and other bad belle people. What these set of people iv mentioned expose you to. Large community or small serene type.
We also have those who develop it due to personal experiences, not minding the environment. May have gone tru some kind of deprivation or trauma like say, child abuse, suffered some kind of deformity or , loss of someone they very attached to,etc,etc. So its different strokes for different folks. Don't know if am making sense to you
