HanuHola:
Hello good morning, am new on this thread am also seeking for a job.
Hi dear, good morning.
Welcome to the chatroom. I would have preferred to be informally formal because of your request which sounds very serious by the way cheesy I will tone it down a bit.

This is the job/Vacancies chatroom of NL. That is to say you can actually playfully win friends, contacts and connections. While your goal is to get a job, you can win your way into the heart of some lovely friends on here.

What is your qualification? Let me introduce you to Moyarh and other friends who can help. I'll also see if I can help in my own little way.

Once again, welcome to the chatroom.

No, I was not able to send it to him, I did not have his Email address
You don't say!
Oh no! He left his email addy here na
That's true, I have noticed you are always asking Daniel for address to send your application to when it is obvious. lastmumu @gmail.com is the address he left here for the post of a financial analyst and I shared that post too!

I'm sad now hearing this.
For your sake, I'll continue that thread today and focus on explaining how to apply for jobs.

For the meantime I'll ask lastmumu if you can still send in your application.

How have you been treating the eye infection? How was work today and hope your eye didn't affect work? I no say you go wear Dbanj-like kinda glass to work today.
Hahahaha.
I know you! I know you lack empathy where I am concerned. You cannot empathize with me over this condition known as conjunctivitis grin grin grin

Instead you are concerned about other people I may or may not infect sef. It's not like it is leprosy! Common redness of the eye caused by bacteria cheesy.

I have been applying ointments and drops. I need to take vit C but I have not bought that yet. How will you contribute to getting my eyesight back to normal?

Work went well, thanks. Had to look away from the screen from time to time. I don't have shades sef. I'm just carrying my eyes like that.

How was work today?

Lol. Good morning Abimbs cheesy
I arranged your post well for you. You almost got it. Don't give up. Let me tell you the mistake I noticed.

You wrote your text outside the square quote brackets. Like italicizing and making text bold, the characters should be inside like this... ignore my bracket;
(quote) write what you want here and do this after (/quote).

That's it!
c'est fini

abimbawealth:
Stressful something
You know when you click on reply, you see that 'quote' in bracket with the text you want to quote enclosed undecided
To break it down and reply in bits, do a manmade grin or should I call it artificial closing by ending that person's post with a closing quote like this (/quote)[Hope you know the right bracket to use. I used the wrong one for illustration. When you put the right one then you've succeeded in quoting the first part of the sentence. But that's not all.

For every quote you close, there's need for a corresponding 'treatment' on the beginning sentence of the other quote left open. Therefore, you have to do the same kind of (quote) at the beginning of the other sentence.
Do you understand? cheesy
do ihuh Ruined it all cry cry

Hahahahahaha.
Why is that as usual as big as that? grin
I don't trust the size.
Hahahahahahah...not big enough sef

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 5 Reasons You Are Not To Blame For Being Jobless by amicable09(f): 10:44am On Sep 27, 2016
TheSlyone2:
You sha like to argue. Let me tell you the experience a close friend of had with one of the famous Engineering multinational firm. It was a graduate trainee job, he already had 3 months hands on experience on the job. After the interview, he explained how excellent the interview went but that doesn't stop him from getting a regret mail. When he told me, I urge him to communicate with other who they attended the interview together. After chatting with them, it turns out that everyone except one person go a regret mail. Can company pick one person for a one year graduate trainee program.
That's totally absurd
Haba!
Is the company your own?
That they took only one and not all of them isn't absurd in any way. You yourself have said that the economic crisis in Nigeria is causing investors to pack up. Do you want them to employ all of them and tomorrow find it difficult to pay?
After all, one was employed.

So far, I've not even argued anything with you, so don't make me.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 5 Reasons You Are Not To Blame For Being Jobless by amicable09(f): 10:04am On Sep 27, 2016
TheSlyone2:
Maybe. To support your point, the more interview you attend, the more sharp and better you become. But one can easily argue that the current economic crisis has made Nigeria to loose the truth of investors, hence a drastic reduction in number of openings and interview call you get.
Well yea, interview invites may reduce but do not also forget that people are resigning voluntarily and openings will be made available.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 5 Reasons You Are Not To Blame For Being Jobless by amicable09(f): 9:30am On Sep 27, 2016
TheSlyone2:
Yea, that's very true. Now the question I can't stop asking myself is this; take for instance 12 candidates were invited for a single position and all the applicants perform extraordinarily well. Would that change the stance of the company to hire all of them?
Absolutely NO. Someone has to be dropped. Inasmuch as we must blame ourselves for falling to clinch a job, other factors still plays a vital role.
Absolutely no. They can't possibly take all 10 of them for obvious reasons.

The other factors that play a role in this unemployment saga aren't vital they are minor. That one place couldn't absorb you doesn't mean if you work your way up another two recruitment processes, you'll be unlucky.

I think I've seen this face somewhere. Let me think, job/vacancy chat room I guess.
We often blame ourselves even when it obvious the fault doesn't lie with us...
Morning Ami
Sometimes it doesn't. But other times it does.
Some of us just feel too big. Unemployment has humbled a lot of graduates.

Have I ever stopped caring? Ofcourse I care to know why.
Ok then.
I had an eye infection but I'm on my way to work today.
My eyes are a tad better than yesterday.

How have you been?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 5 Reasons You Are Not To Blame For Being Jobless by amicable09(f):
This is my personal property.
Tomorrow, I'll know who to blame for not having job sad
******************
Ok, let me make good use of my land.
It feels good to blame everyone and everything except oneself for not securing a decent job in Nigeria. But the bitter truth is, once you lose that 'sense of entitlement' as a graduate, that's the key to the mental slavery most of us have put ourselves in, once you lose it, then you're an inch closer to landing that choice job.

You mentioned connection. Connection is strongly tied to the power of our network. You won't tell me that a 21 year old graduate has no contact aside from rich uncles and aunties who 'pretend' not to know how to help. Connection is not something the government will do for you or your parents will help you fetch. Build your network by yourself dear graduate.

Then another one that caught my attention is the last point - Your village people. Funny as this sounds but your village people are only in your mind. You allow them to oppress you. You give them credit for nothing. If your village people couldn't stop you from graduating then they have no right to keep you from getting a job. Simple!

TheSlyone2, you're right about seeing me somewhere grin. I just dropped my submission.
