LordBiden:
A civilian tapping the phone of a whole NSA?

So even tinubu calls are not safe.

And he is bold to say it in public. huh
Dey play!

KingTom:
This dwarf is beginning to overdo, well na for those who still take the washed up calanja seriously. El-Rufai wants to come back to power like El-Rufai? grin
He did more than this to make Tinubu president. He faced the "cabals" heads-on and even took Buhari to supreme court over naira scarcity, incase you have forgotten. He merely did it because then, it was the right thing to do. Until betrayed, an ideal Northerner will always keep his words. Mallam is an honey badger, the real ratel. If he sets his sights at something, he never backs off. Na you go tire.

DaddyJapan:
A whole NSA? Now this sounds like a national security issue to me.

@DSS
@DHQ
@DIA, what say you?
Well, the vehicle of the office of the NSA was stolen at National Mosque, Abuja. That was also a national security issue, if you ask me.
PoliticsRe: "We Listen To Nuhu Ribadu's Calls" - El-Rufai (Video) by AMINDA:
He never said he directly did. He also said "As does Ribadu listen to our calls without a court order". You forgot to add that part. Mallam is not afraid of anybody and he's a man of many resources. When APC released Peter Obi's phone call with Pastor Oyedepo in an election season, did they get a valid court order before tapping his line?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A One-term President — Aregbesola Drops Bombshell by AMINDA: 8:07pm On Feb 13
OneCandleAway:
Are you sure this man isn't playing a script. Cuz I wonder how they became divided after so many years working together. I know sregbe preferred osinbajo for president though and expected Tinubu to support him
Okay. Since it will help you sleep better, Aregbe is working for Tinubu. You all need to quit with all these defeatist talks. It smarks of low self-esteem. Is there anyone of Tinubu's allies he has not betrayed or attempted to subdue? Where's Fashola, Fayemi, Ambode, Osinbajo, etc? He has put the betrayal tag on all of them while attempting to do the same to Seyi Makinde. Ironically, he never supported Obasanjo all through his 8 years as president.

Is there anybody still doubting this?
PoliticsRe: You Can’t See Me In An Opposition With Babachir Lawal, El-Rufai, Malami - Sowore by AMINDA:
seunmsg:
Oh, don’t disappoint this time around. Call him Agbadorian as usual and accuse Tinubu of sponsoring him. That’s the default response of you opposition lackeys to anyone that points to the uselessness of the ADC. Go ahead and don’t be shy to post your usual stuff against Sowore.
Tinubu’s water carriers from the Chicago City boys movement no go let me drink water drop cup. The only reason Sowore's party is still existing today is because Tinubu does not see it as a threat. Yet, he's still being hounded by Tinubu’s DSS every day. Is there any opposition figure currently in the country that Tinubu is not going after? We've never had it this bad.
PoliticsRe: You Can’t See Me In An Opposition With Babachir Lawal, El-Rufai, Malami - Sowore by AMINDA: 7:22pm On Feb 13
And that is okay. As far as he's freely exercising his right to oppose and not getting suppressed by the government in power due to fear and panic.

PulaPower:
This one love yarning dust shaa..

You’ll realize you’re a Juu when you later know that El-rufai is working for Tinubu..
You would love for that to be true, wouldn't you. Atiku, Obi and Amaechi are also working for Tinubu. Relax, Tinubu is finishing Nigerians.
PoliticsRe: Throwback: El Rufai Dancing With President Bola Tinubu by AMINDA: 6:10pm On Feb 13
Why are Tinubu's water carriers from the Chicago City boys movement crying on my mentions? Tinubu lost Lagos and his polling unit at Bourdillon to Obi. Obi dusted him in the South. He's only president today because of the likes of Elrufai. That you choose to be ungrateful about it does not mean history will not be documented.
PoliticsRe: What Will Happen To El-rufai by AMINDA: 5:33pm On Feb 13
Chicago City boys movement on steroids. Tinubu lost Lagos state and lost his polling unit at bourdillon. He's simply president today due to 5.6m Northern votes and sincerely, he should thank Elrufai for that. The impact of personalities like Elrufai is not gauged at the polling unit level. It's in the messaging and optics that reverberates across the region.
PoliticsRe: Throwback: El Rufai Dancing With President Bola Tinubu by AMINDA: 5:17pm On Feb 13
I don't know what OP wants us to see here. It's an open secret that Elrufai supported his party's candidate in 2023 with gusto and made him President. They didn't have to be bossom friends for that to happen. Elrufai is a founding member of the APC. His signature is on the certificate of incorporation. Tinubu does not own the APC, even though he has now backstabbed all other blocs after winning, forcing them out and personalising the party. Southwesterners call it master strategy but other Nigerians have another name for that.
PoliticsRe: ₦858 Billion Budgeted To Bridge Electricity Tariff Gap, ₦60 Million Released by AMINDA:
But on a serious note, where are all our money going to? Coastal road and sign-on fees for governors? This will be the 6th MDA that has publicly come out to complain about unfunded budget. Local contractors are still being owed in the trillions and are now protesting every day at the Ministry of Finance.

PoliticsRe: Kano: Tinubu, Shettima, APC Governors To Receive Abba Yusuf Into APC On Monday by AMINDA: 1:47pm On Feb 13
Okay. Tinubu will be represented by Shettima. His knees will be too weak to stand on that podium. Let them seize the opportunity to settle the silent but festering rift between the Ganduje and Barau camp. Otherwise, Abba will have no structure to run on. He has no single structure of his own.

PoliticsRe: DSS Seizes El-rufai’s Passport At Request Of Anti-graft Agency by AMINDA: 10:03am On Feb 13
seanfer:
Are you saying because of politics we should stop calling public officers to account for decisions they took while in public offices?
Is it the job of DSS to make public servants account for the decisions they took while in public office? What happened to the courts? Why try to arrest a man returning to the country on his own accord and seizing his passport without court or arrest warrant if not to intimidate? My joy is that it will go round. Tinubu might be the first ex-president to be tried and sent to jail.
PoliticsRe: ADC Warns Lagos Residents Against Sharing PVC Details With Political Groups by AMINDA: 8:58am On Feb 13
emkz:
There is no doubt that ADC has lost momentum. Infact, ADC never had momentum.

By now, ADC should be on the lips of everyone. ADC has no theme, no slogan, no identity, just a bandwagon of attention seekers making statements. From what Ayo Fayose insinuated, Wike has moles within ADC and the sabotage would come from within.

ADC spends time issuing statements that do them no good. ADC is also quick to abandon their own. If not, when last did ADC remember Malami?

I do not think anyone needs to be warned not to share details of PVC with any political group.
You should be happy then. The fact that APC began campaign from the day of inauguration does not still mean that INEC has lifted the ban on political campaigns. Is APC on the lips of everyday Nigerians? Why is APC harvesting the data of civil servants and market women via coerced membership registration. Something does not seem right.

PoliticsRe: Judge Withdraws From Malami’s ₦213 Billion Forfeiture Case by AMINDA: 8:46am On Feb 13
The FG has no evidence against Malami. That's why they keep stalling his case and deploying all manner of delay tactics. They said Malami would be ADC's main funder and now they blackmail Makinde and accuse him of wanting to become the new funder. Yet, they are the party with 30 state governors.
PoliticsRe: Ex-PDP Chieftain, Fabiyi Emerges ADC Deputy National Financial Secretary by AMINDA: 8:28am On Feb 13
Svoboda:
Tinubu is borrowing heavily to pay back loans. The subsidy removal has been a farce. Buhari built infrastructure within his first three years while simultaneously paying subsidies, even when oil was at 30 USD per barrel. What we are seeing now is a fiasco.
They refuse to admit that they made a mistake and were garrulous in prematurely removing subsidy and devaluing the naira. Buhari and Emefiele already had a plan that was tied to the kick-off of the Dangote refinery. The little reprieve we currently see is a result of the stability Dangote's refinery brought. We would have still had all the gains without the needless pains if only it was strategically planned.

Atiku has nothing to offer Nigeria, what has Atiku done for Nigeria in the last five years?
Atiku has never been president. Tinubu currently is and this is how he's been ruling the country while his propangists try to sell snake oil to the public. Where is our money going towards?

PoliticsRe: 2027: Abia State Govt Will Teach Tinubu A Bitter Lesson Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Deten by AMINDA: 8:02am On Feb 13
gidgiddy:
Not just Abia State, Igbos will teach Tinubu a lesson in 2027 just l8ke they did in 2023.

Tinubu better hope that those who voted for him in 2023 still believe in him in 2027, particularly in the North
They no longer do. Without Southern support, Tinubu is toast and he knows it. Can't you feel the desperation? Expect many more cash to be splurged on the likes of Obi Cubana and Co.

Atiku cannot be president of Nigeria, he should stop wasting his time
Is that a prayer point or a statement of fact? Just tell Tinubu to guarantee a free and fair election. Nigerians will decide.

SadiqBabaSani:
Aminda I have noticed how you support El Rufai tooth and nail here on NL.

Just know that Karma has come for Mallam Nasir, Even though I Consider him one of the best governors of Kaduna based on the many projects completed in Muslim dominated areas of Kaduna giving the metropolis a major facelift , El Rufai is a evil bigot and I pray that politically he will continue to deteriorate
The mere fact that you say it does not make it true. God does not listen to the prayers of an hypocrite. Where is the karma? There's nothing that is happening now that has not happened before and history has a funny way of repeating itself. In the end, Malam always triumphs over his foes because he's squeaky clean. Do not count your chicks before they are hatched. The end justifies the means.

PoliticsRe: “even The President Can’t Order My Arrest” — El-rufai Dares Tinubu Following Air by AMINDA: 7:01am On Feb 13
Fake headline. What Elrufai said is clearly captured on tape. It is in Tinubu best interest to stop believing the words of elements in his inner caucus that keep telling him Elrufai is a small fry. They are only doing so for their personal interest while complicating his prospects of re-election.
PoliticsRe: A Story Nigerians Thought Settled and Why It No longer Sits Easily - Onoriode by AMINDA: 6:58am On Feb 13
They now pay PR firms to launder image of people like Diezani standing trials outside the shores of the country, and these threads somehow find their way to Nairaland frontpage. I think Nairaland should indicate when an article is sponsored just as other conventional media houses do.
PoliticsRe: El-rufai Had Threatened "American & Others To Return In Bodybags" Now Went Mute by AMINDA: 6:03am On Feb 13
In one breadth, you claim he's jittery and in the very same breadth you claim he has not withdrawn his statement. Isn't that contradictory? How can you say he's scared when he has been breezing in and out of the country at will. He just came back into the country again yesterday. He left office over 3 years ago and currently has no immunity. You appear to be the only one obsessed about America. This wouldn't be the case if you have a functioning government. You wouldn't need America to come govern you. You are very correct. Elrufai warned foreigners coming into the country during an electioneering period to desist from interference in our country's elections or be prepared to leave in bodybags. Beyond observation, we don't need the help of any foreigner in our electoral process. The onus is on you to explain what's wrong in that statement. Donald Trump is still investigating alleged Russian interference in the Trump/Biden elections that cost him his re-election. What do you think he would have done to any culprit?
PoliticsRe: Fayose Gives Atiku 48 Hours To Disavow Paul Ibe’s Press Statement by AMINDA: 11:17pm On Feb 12
Breaking News!

Bisi Ilaka, former Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde and a senior member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has formally resigned from the party.

Seyi's men are going into the ADC to clear the way in preparation for the arrival of the Big Bird!

PoliticsRe: Fayose Gives Atiku 48 Hours To Disavow Paul Ibe’s Press Statement by AMINDA:
All I sense is fear from the Agbadorian camp. They say Makinde cannot deliver Oyo to ADC and we agree but they somehow believe the 36 state governors will deliver their states to Tinubu. No be juju be that? Fayose can keep providing entertainment in his clownshow while real political horsetradings continue to take place. Agbadorians will try to put the betrayal tag on Makinde but they will fail. Tinubu never supported Obasanjo. Seyi owes him nothing!

Seyi! Eja n'la! Oko Tinubu! Omoluabi!

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Winning South East With A Landslide by AMINDA: 9:23pm On Feb 12
professorPABX:
We are not saying the same as usual, nairaland may ban me as usual to allow you confuse yourself and other ignorant people. Intelligently and clearly the blind and dumb knows we never said the same thing on the issue of Makinde.

Historically, two elections were never the same. It always get better and dynamically it shows before the election. I know Mallam Nasir El Rufai during ABACHA regime and I know Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed in 1998 when he was the Executive Secretary of INEC, that was when El Rufai was a member of Presidential Advisory Council to President (Gen Abubakar). Both Mallam Hakeem Baba Ahmed and Nasir El Rufai at this period would have known Tinubu would win. Atiku knows Tinubu would win. It is not a matter of Regional voting as it is done in South East because of vendetta. ABIOLA defeated TOFA in Kano. I can authoritatively tell you Tinubu would defeat Atiku in Kano, Jigawa, Katsina and Kaduna. In Adamawa, it may be 52 to 48 against Tinubu. I said this for a reason I know very well but with all due respect to Waziri Adamawa I will not say it online.

What happened in 2023 was a collective battle against Tinubu which began after 2019 election and after the removal of Oshiomole as Chairman and the death of Ajimobi. From 2020 to 2023 APC had no opposition, the only Political opposition in Nigeria was internal battle between Buhari Camp and Tinubu Camp. No opposition for 3 years just scheming against Tinubu supremacy and presidential ambition.

When Tambuwal sent OBI out of PDP to the street, Politically, OBI was nobody until OKUPE and Baba Ayo Adebanjo picked him up from Political gutter as Political Orphan and take his IBO Presidency as the battle of their lifetime which ultimately they both died for simultaneously. They gave him life Politically and took the case to OBASANJO and others that have scores to settle with Tinubu. The fact that they never witnessed the second year anniversary of Tinubu government shows that something happened in the Spirit realm.

After Buhari, the North has never accepted Atiku as their leader. Just like Shehu Yaradua defeated Falae by 90% in SDP primary in South West because Falae was not a replacement for Baba Awo or Abraham Adesanya or Baba Ajasin. The South South which you claimed follow IBO in electoral voting pattern is false. Bitterness of Jonathan loss made them voted the last time. During June12, 1993 ABIOLA lost Rivers because of Ikwerre but won EDO, Delta, AkwaIbom and Cross River.

This time around, Voting pattern in Rivers, Bayelsa, AkwaIbom, Cross River, Edo and Delta would be entirely different.

All the crying about electronic transmission of results which can never be 50% successful is to create chaos and crisis and to cause confusion which will lead to election annulment. The key players in Nigeria know that Tinubu would win. All the set-up of hooligans to disrupt ADC meetings by ADC is because they have nothing formidable on ground. They are confused. They want to create confusion and crisis as a coverup.
Your last paragraph is what I'm most interested in since time will take care of the rest. You claimed ADC are sending thugs to disrupt their own gatherings and that's just disingenuous. Aside from that, would you say the simultaneous crisis in LP and PDP does not have Tinubu's hand in it? Why is he afraid of a fair contest? Okowa was VP candidate and a sitting governor in 2023, why couldn't he deliver Delta state? Aren't you being bias by thinking only Seyi Makinde will fail to deliver his state while all other governors will deliver Tinubu in their states? The South wouldn't just cower to Tinubu and vote him simply because he undemocratically disenfranchised their preferred candidate from the race. The best outcome Tinubu can hope for is to have voter apathy. Very few who didn't vote for him in 2023 will queue up to do so in 2027.

We can feel the pulse. It's barely a year to the election and Tinubu is still not loved in the South. Forget the defecting governors. APC had 21 governors in 2023 and Tinubu only won in 12 states. Nearly half of those 12 states were not APC-governed states. He's already panicking and going after Elrufai which is a strategic mistake as far as the North is concerned.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Why The North Still Matters In Tinubu’s Re-election Victory by AMINDA: 7:50pm On Feb 12
Tinubu will only end up making a Buhari out of Elrufai. It doesn't help his cause that Elrufai supported his presidency and he ended up betraying him after luring him to the Senate with a view to embarrass him. As at today, Tinubu is still not popular in the South. They try to window-dress the optics by paying PR merchants and hypemen like Cubana Chiefpriest to make a lot of noise but there is still no substance amongst the voting Southern electorates. Only resistance. As at today, Tinubu does not have a pathway to victory that does not depend on Northern support.
