In a country where things work as they should, Justice Lifu will be de-robed and barred from ever sitting on a case. Tinubu must subject himself to the ballot and face his impending defeat!

Let us see whether the cabal that is the Senate leadership will have the cajones to suspend Oshiomole. Whichever way we may like to pretend, the APC is seriously fractured. From Hope Uzodinma vs the Peter Mbah progressive (sic) governors leadership tussle to the Umahi vs Wike (yes, Wike is APC) tussle in Ebonyi, to the Oshiomole vs Akpabio Senate leadership tussle. Tinubu cannot continue to hide behind a finger. He will eventually pick a side and that's when the whole house will come crashing down.

This was why Seyi fought tooth and nail to forcefully install a NANS president while the original winner of the election was hounded, brutalised, and imprisoned. These people planned everything they were going to unleash on Nigerians from the get-go. Same thing for the Chairman of the NURTW. MC Oluomo was forcefully installed against a substantive court judgement that recognised Baruwa as the original chairman.

One of the reasons I want a new government to take over in 2027 is the hope that it will sanitize the judiciary. Rogue judges like Justice Lifu would be summarily retired and disgraced out of the judicial system.

The level of impunity and judicial rascality witnessed under the Tinubu regime is unprecedented and would be difficult to find a parallel for anywhere in the world.

They ran on the false pretence of being fighters of democracy but time and tide has proven them to be worse than Abacha. Tinubu lives in morbid fear of subjecting himself to the electoral process because he knows that as long as a competitive election will hold, he will lose.

The joke is on you. Replacing Ganduje with Adamu from the Northcentral indeed. Couldn't he have found someone else from the Northcentral ab initio? Kindly tell us why Ganduje retired to London immediately after his removal until he was prevailed upon to return only to be betrayed again by Tinubu by accepting Abba Kabir and effectively handing over Kano APC structure to Kwankwaso in disguise?

Binani was the APC gubernatorial candidate in 2023 while Babachir Lawal was an SGF under Buhari who left APC due to Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket in 2023 and supported Obi. There is no evidence that the duo were ever Atiku’s allies until they moved to the ADC coalition. The big question is why did they leave APC? Why did Tinubu betray them?

According to Daily Nigerian, Tinubu sacked Ganduje as APC chairman by having a security chief stand over him as he signs the letter via coercion. Goal-Goal. It is not a coincidence that Ganduje has disappeared from the political scene. He is still nursing his betrayal by Tinubu.

Tinubu has seen the data that we have all seen. He has no pathway to re-election through the ballots. He should just cut to the chase and declare himself president. The fear and trepidation is palpable and moves like this only end up putting off his genuine supporters and demoralising even his hard-core tribal fanatics.

When you voted in 2023, was it because your governor told you who to vote for? Why didn't Tinubu win Lagos since governors determine elections in their states? Why couldn't Umahi and Uzodinma deliver their states to Tinubu? Why couldn't Okowa, who was an incumbent governor and Vice presidential candidate win Delta?

On what legal basis is INEC refraining from registering new political parties while the incumbent government continues to destroy all existing parties? The law is not what Tinubu wants it to be, no matter who stands to benefit from it or is affected by it. If Tinubu is not interested in elections, he should say so and declare himself president instead of resorting to such cowardly antics that has never been seen before in the history of our democratic dispensation. Why should Wike's Justice Lifu go against an existing appeal Court judgement to rule on a matter and why should he give a Kangaroo judgement that is clearly wrong if not just to "buy time" and diminish the momentum of opposition parties as they head to appeal? Antics like this cost the ruling party votes from undecided voters and even from genuine APC voters that previously believed Tinubu stood a chance at the ballot.

Well, for starters, he won Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Osun in 2023, and that was after 8 years of Buhari. He doesn't even need to win any state in the South but you will be naïve if you think the people that voted him in those states no longer exists or will all now be voting for Tinubu. On what basis will they no longer vote for him? Turn of the South? 2023 was more of the turn of the South than 2027 will be and Tinubu has been tested and has failed.

Exactly. Let's not forget that Wike it was who chased Umahi out of PDP. Now, he has gone to meet him in the APC. The man lives and breathes trouble. Some few months ago, the duo of Umahi and Ribadu breezed into Rivers on the invitation of Fubara. The rest is history. Wike does not forgive.

What I find confounding is that Justice Lifu is no longer pretending about how sold out he is to injustice and in doing the bidding of Wike and APC.

It’s so so annoying and embarrassing

Well, if he has been mobilised with more money than he can ever get to make in his career as a judge and he has no conscience, he will be willing to do whatever his paymasters asks of him. It's just a shame that taxpayer's money saved from the sweat of struggling Nigerians is being channelled to the wrong cause while Nigerians are left to grapple with insecurity and maladministration.

Appeal Court said don't rule on the matter till we decide a suit related to that and you say NO. Adeleke was fast enough!

The damage Tinubu and Wike have done to our judiciary will take a while for the incoming government to rectify. These are just the last kicks of a dying horse. They have engaged the services of multiple polling firms and analysts that keep telling them that Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. Hence, the desperation you see. This judgement appears targeted more at Adeleke, unfortunately for them, he is smarter.

Yes, if Atiku fails to get 25% in ⅔ of the states (he just might). As long as Obi is in the race, Atiku will emerge with the highest votes cast. The rerun will be between the candidate with the highest votes cast and the candidate with the most spread (not necessarily the second highest). Tinubu appears jittery and will rather not face his opponents at the ballot. He has no choice.

Not only does the ADC have elective positions, the ruling was given in defiance of a court of appeal judgement that had ordered the matter to not be heard until November. Tinubu and Wike are in panic mode and this judgement was meant to erase news of Amaechi's selection as Atiku’s Vice. Just as the Nafiu Bala fiasco by INEC was done on the day Kwankwaso joined the ADC. The incoming government will have a lot of sanitation to do beginning from the judiciary.
