No, the topic is not politics, it's blue film. Tinubu won't decisively win even the Southwest in 2027. Lagos, Osun and now Ibadan will be in play. We will all learn politics together. Don't bring that cry baby talks about betrayal here. Tinubu never supported Obasanjo, a fellow Southwesterner.

The keen interest in the electoral act and the resistance by the people already tells APC all they need to know. Tinubu is highly unpopular and rigging will be vehemently resisted no matter the manipulations. They can keep coercing market women and civil servants to register as APC members but time is a gentleman.

With 36 state governors, APC is still not confident of victory. Some governors may return under the APC but Tinubu has no pathway to re-election as at today. Time is a gentleman.

What's difficult to understand in what he said? Elrufai and Tinubu have been estranged right from when Elrufai went to Lagos and spoke about godfatherism and even before that. He was also against Tinubu becoming Vice to Buhari during the formation of the APC merger. However, he wholeheartedly advocated for power to shift to the South under APC and supported his party's candidate after Tinubu emerged. Tinubu merely kept the grudge after pretending he was cool with Elrufai.

Elrufai was already minister of the FCT under Obasanjo twenty years ago and his records are still yet to be surpassed. Tinubu cannot work with the likes of Elrufai due to low self-esteem issues. We now know Tinubu prefers to be the smartest person in the room and Elrufai will never sing the mandate song to extol a mere mortal.

Elrufai was not on the ballot in 2023. Tinubu was and yet, he lost both Lagos and Osun, his place of residence and state of origin respectively. Speaking of Obasanjo's My Watch, here's what he said about Tinubu. If Obasanjo was right about Elrufai, he's also right about Tinubu.

I think it was already revealed in 2023. Tinubu got 5.6m votes from the North. Atiku got virtually all his 7m votes from the North. Kwankwaso got all his 1.4m votes from Kano. Even Obi got over 2m votes from the North. Now, compare and contrast to what both Tinubu and Obi got individually from the South. Data is stubborn but you can continue to quarrel with numbers.

I don't think they are overstating their importance to Tinubu. They gave him 5.6m out of his 8m votes. What Sheikh Jingir is saying is exactly what Tinubu is spending 9.5m U.S dollars on lobby firms in America to say. No difference. While Sheikh Jingir is blaming Amupitan for writing letters to Trump and demanding his sack, Tinubu's government is blaming an Onitsha-based screwdriver seller for supplying bombing coordinates to Trump.
