While some members of the APC were sincere about changing the status quo and bringing genuine change in 2015, others were jealous of the abuse of power, high-handedness and impunity displayed by Wike under the PDP and immediately co-opted him into their party as soon as they won in 2023. We are only now getting to know who is who.

We keep saying that Tinubu will still fail to win the Southwest in a landslide, just like in 2023. What will determine his fate will be the number of votes he gets from the North. Just like in 2023.

Since when did being a Fulani and a Northerner become a pariah? The Fulanis and Northerners made Tinubu president after he ran on muslim-muslim ticket in a quest to get their votes. Southern Kaduna has always had communal clashes dating back to the 80s. It was even one of the matters discussed at the Oputa panel. The Miss World and Sharia crisis also happened long before Elrufai became governor. Rather, it is on record that there was no religious clash between the Northern and Southern Kaduna while Elrufai was governor. What you had was the menace of bandits and herders and that is not peculiar to Kaduna alone. It happened in Zamfara, Benue, Katsina, Plateau, Niger, Kogi, Kwara, etc and continues to happen even today, although with much media suppression. You blame Elrufai for that of Kaduna but never did same to other governors until it recently happened in Oyo where you APC lackeys now try to blame Makinde. But governors are not in charge of security in theor states. That is the primary responsibility of the president.

That says more about Tinubu than it says about the Northerners. If Aregbesola or Fayemi or even Osinbajo had asked Buhari to arrest and incarcerate Tinubu for their own selfish ambitions, would it say more about them or about Buhari if Buhari complies?

He is saying the bitter truth. The Southeast had the opportunity to get a foot in the door and launch into national prominence in 2027 by aligning with a huge section of the North in a coalition just like Tinubu did in 2015, but Obi choose to prioritise self-interest. In 2027, the region will go solo again and vote in isolation and then console themselves when they lose by saying they are the richest region, or that they are the only ones with the gift of identifying good leaders or another ridiculous self-consolation rhethoric. If the Southeast would not vote Atiku in 2027, they are better off voting Tinubu instead of voting in isolation. Another approach will be to spread their votes across different parties so they can have a stake in the eventual winner instead of backing the wrong horse in a one-way traffic.

Yes the SW gave Buhari 2.3m votes when the APC was formed and got repaid by the North. Under Buhari, Tinubu was also appointed the National Leader of the APC with Fowler, Dayo, Fashola, Aregbesola, and several other appointees from his camp. The SW also got Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Lagos-Ibadan Railway, Lagos International Airport terminal, Lagos-Badagry road, etc all completed by Buhari. How has Tinubu repaid the North? His first act as president was to betray Elrufai and he went further to incarcerate him for a bailable allegation. Next he followed with Kashim Imam, Malami, Ganduje, Badaru, Goje, etc. Virtually all APC members from the CPC bloc are also being witch-hunted and this happened immediately after Buhari’s sudden death. Northerners always repay their debts. Good or bad.

You are now relying on Tinubu's unprecedented interference and destruction of our democracy as a vehicle he will use to win re-election but you will be disappointed. Time is a gentleman.

Don't let APC lackeys fool you. If elections were to hold today, Tinubu will lose. The Southwest is one of the most politically diverse region in the country, only next to the Northcentral and that is Tinubu's only base. In 2027, he will struggle in the Southwest, even worse than he did in 2023.

Is he more desperate than the one who promised to do only one term even though his region has never produced a president? Continuity or otherwise should be based on performance. If you are in the shoes of would-be voters in the North, would you vote the one who is constitutionally limited to doing only 4 more years or the one who "promised" to do only one term if voted into power? Not forgetting he supported Jonathan who reneged on that agreement that was in the PDP constitution. Obi should have never made zoning the fulcrum of his campaign.

Kwankwaso is facing serious challenges in Kano for sabotaging the coalition. It may turn out to be a career-ending move. His antics have been figured out. Atiku will get very good numbers in Kano come 2027.

This one is only after 2031. Why shouldn't he? Does the Southeast not deserve two terms? Obi sabotaged himself and his region by pledging to do a single term out of desperation. Zoning is unconstitutional unless a political party chooses to make it part of their constitution or internal agreement. This was why Ojukwu ran for president in 2007 under APGA after 8 years of an Obasanjo presidency. No Northerner asked him then to step down or screamed that it was the turn of the North. They didn't do so because they had no pact with APGA.

Nigeria's problem is more of a spending problem and a corruption problem. What has Tinubu done with monies saved from subsidy removal? More revenue that he claims to have channeled to the governors without accountability. Yet, he keeps throwing more at them and even sometimes using coercion and state of emergencies to get them to decamp to his party. Can you explain why Tinubu has over 40 ministers and why he, Remi, and Seyi move in 100-vehicle convoys? Why is austerity only for the struggling citizens and not for Tinubu and his family? The first step will be for Tinubu to show some empathy and stop with the display of opulence and megalomania.

The impact of the Tinubu administration is very visible. Only irresponsible people can deny the impact. We know the state of the economy when he took over and the situation today. In education, ASUU strike is a thing of the past. No one remembers it again. Folks who got admission in 2023 are now in final year preparing to graduate before the end of the year. Students from poor background no longer worry about how to get university education. One of them recently graduated as the best graduating student from LAUTECH. Of course, folks like you can't relate.

PMS queue is now long forgotten. It was an issue just two weeks to the 2023 election. Now, it seems no one remembers what the situation used to be. Again, we have about four massive international highways currently u der construction. These are projects that has the prospect of opening up so many economic opportunities for Nigerians. Some of these projects were conceived over 40 years ago with successive administration failing to get them started. One man has started everything in his first term.

Lol. ASUU strike, fuel queues? How can they be fuel queues when Dangote has excess refined fuel in his storage while Tinubu continues to import from Malta? That was Buhari, not Tinubu. He even tried to frustrate Dangote in the early days. Pound for pound, Buhari has more visible "completed" infrastructural projects on ground than Tinubu in his first tenure and he borrowed far less than Tinubu. He paid subsidy on both electricity and fuel and life was easier for the ordinary citizen than it is today. Should we talk about inflation rate? Continue to celebrate statistics and IMF validation but the lived realities of Nigerians says otherwise.

Just play your politics right with an alliance in mind because you can't do it alone.

All he knows is taxation, loans and revenue but impact is zero. You can only tax prosperity. Tinubu has impoverished Nigerians and yet he continues to squeeze.

In your view, only an Igboman can fix Nigeria. It's ironic this is coming from someone who voted Orji Uzo Kalu twice, Theodore Orji twice and Okezi Ikpeazu twice. Even Obi is a two-term governor of Anambra. Did he turn Anambra to Eldorado? Obiano and Soludo beg to differ. Promote your tribesman in peace but quit trying to sell him as the sweetest thing since sliced bread. Keep playing isolation politics and when you lose out, console yourself by claiming you are the only ones who could spot a good leader. At least, other regions are sighting 15 trillion naira projects in their regions with loans that will be repaid by all Nigerians, including your children.

If the IMF asks Tinubu to jump, he only asks "how high?"

Be rest assured that Tinubu will comply. He practically lives for IMF validation and would do anything they say in exchange for a tap on the back.
