AN OPEN LETTER TO TRADERS Dear Traders, You may wish to recollect that the naira started appreciating since February 21. As at last week, it had appreciated by about 20% from N520/$1 - N425/$1. You may also recall that the prices of your goods and services skyrocketed immediately the naira started depreciating and we witness this nasty situation for months. Now that the naira has started gaining exponentially, we need to see your prices fall significantly. We need to see the impact of the depreciation of dollar and other foreign currencies in our markets now. We did not make this demand earlier because we know, if we did, you would claim that you were still selling your old stock. It is now about 2 weeks. So, you must have exhausted your old stock. So, we want to see a huge decrease in your prices. If you refuse to decrease your prices or if your decrease is not proportionate to the appreciation of naira, we would be left with no option but to believe the government that you were the cause of the inflation we witnessed for months. majekdom2:U just proved Atiku to be 50% right by making comparison with Northern Universities. For your information public universities comprise of all universities in Nigeria. So no need for segregation. |
majekdom2:Atiku didn't say northern public universities, he said public universities. Look well before you comment please |
Darey00:Thank you my brother. We said it right from the beginning the Op lied in so many things. |
haryomikun:I am very sure i am more literate than your father |
SirJeffry:Wow.....you just proved to us that you are an illiterate who doesn't have brain at all. I don't blame you because I am sure you inherited this foolishness from your father. NB: you are not a Christian because true Christian s don't abuse our Prophet. |
softsee:U nailed it my brother. Personal hygiene is paramount in the north. |
kayfam:See foolishness of the highest order. You are among those southerners that will never act in a civilise way. Are you trying to say all southerners in the north are not in their right sense or what. For your information I do have Igbo friends in Kano. |
mrphysics:You are funny. I can easily trace u if I want. U reside around kofar famfo close to FCE Kano and u do your PPA in Kano poly. Have an open mind and respect culture diversity, that way you will enjoy Kano. All those asking you to join Islam are doing it because they feel you are good mannered, honest, intelligeno ,generous, in short they just love you and want you to be part of them. Simple. |
mrphysics:I was born in Kano and lived there till 2015 when I left it but I do spend weekends in Kano. Holla me to show you the real Kano corpershon |
Following.... Even though I know d op is lying |
mightyhazell:I just wonder how people like you reason. Jonathan and PDP aided boko haram by not fighting them in full force, by so doing he contributed in damaging the North east. I can bet my life that north east can never be the same again. Buhari is willing to give preferential treatment to Niger delta, an example is the clean up of Ogoni land which the Niger deltans have been agitating for since 80s. Jonathan who is from there failed to develop his area but Baba is doing it. Jonathan looted money and gave to fools like him. He never cared about Nigerians rather his selfish interest. |
Kudos to u....btw whats her name |
At last they have woken up from sleep.....Sai Baba |
Thanks alot, though i got it unlockd since |
Empiree:jazakallah khair for the correction |
Chibuhealth:what you said actually shows that you got no iota of respect for the elders, as such you Dad must be the old fool u called GMB because he didnt train you to respect elders. As they say "charity begins at home". I am 100% sure that no one in your family can contest and win even a councillor post in your village because no one likes you, but here you are abusing someone that is loved not only in his village but nationwide due to his credibility. |

BRIEF PRESS STATEMENT BY GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI, GCFR, PRESIDENT ELECT ON THE PLATFORM OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS, APC. MARCH 31ST, 2015 At exactly 5:15pm yesterday evening President Jonathan called to congratulate me on my victory. For this I want all Nigerians to join me in congratulating and appreciating Mr President for his statesmanship. President Jonathan engaged in a spirited campaign and was a worthy opponent. I extend my hand of fellowship to him. I look forward to meeting him soon as we plan the transition from one administration to another. He will receive nothing but understanding, cooperation and respect from me and my team. The good people of Nigeria, answered the call of history. When the account of this fine moment is written, it will be said that it was the people themselves who led this nation to democracy. You stood in line patiently for hours in the sun, rain and then in the dark to cast your ballots. Even when the vote was extended to Sunday in some places, you still performed your civic duty. You did so peacefully. You voted with your heart. Your vote affirms that you believe Nigeria’s future can be better than what it is today. You voted for change and now change has come. INEC has released the official results of the Presidential election. INEC has declared that I gained the most votes with the required spread and thus won this election. In a more profound way, it is you, Nigerians that have won. The people have shown their love for our nation and their belief in democracy. The declaration of INEC accurately reflects the will of the people. While there might have been some logistical obstacles and irregularities associated with the exercise, the result shall stand as what the people want. I thank all Nigerians who have made this day possible. Our country has now joined the community of nations that have used the ballot box to peacefully change an incumbent President in a free and fair election. To me this is indeed historic. Most people will welcome the result because it is the one they voted for. Others will naturally be disappointed. I ask that we all be circumspect, respectful and peaceful in these times. This was a hard- fought contest. Emotions were high. We must not allow them to get the better of us. This is not the time for confrontation. This is a moment that we must begin to heal the wounds and work toward a better future. We do this first by extending a hand of friendship and conciliation across the political divide. We hope and pray our friends in other parties reciprocate. I thank all the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their commitment and their hard work through the formation of the party, the campaigns and the Presidential elections. Let me equally extend my appreciation to the MEDIA, Civil Society and the Security agencies for their selfless service. The International press and our friends abroad deserve special commendation for their support throughout the process. We promise a robust and dynamic engagement with your countries in matters of mutual interest to nations. In the interim, I call on all Nigerians to be law abiding and peaceful. The eyes of the world were focused on us to see if we could vote in a peaceful way and carry out a representative election in an orderly manner. You have proven to the world that we are a people who have embraced democracy and a people who seek a of government by, for and of the people. We have put one party state behind us. You have voted for a party and president that will serve and govern but never rule over you. Change has come. A new day and a new Nigeria are upon us. The victory is yours and the glory is that of our nation - Nigeria I will make a more formal address to the nation today after receiving the certificate of return from INEC. May God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President Elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria |
Lets start saying bye bye to clueless government of PDP. Nigerians have spoken, there is no way PDP can win this election because everything is clear now despite the massive rigging and inflated figures in some states like Rivers and Delta. Insha Allah an end to corruption, looting and bad governance is here. Sai mai Gaskia Sai Baba Buhari Sai Cattle rearer he will surely take us to the promise land Haters go and hug transformer |

Goodluck Jonathan is clueless and the world agrees. Selected Quotes from World Leaders and International Media. “Nigeria, under Jonathan, squandered oil wealth, and breeds corruption. – Senator Hilary Clinton “Massive, widespread and pervasive corruption affecting all levels of government under President Jonathan.” – US State Department “Jonathan’s government incompetent, callous and very corrupt.” – The Economist “We shouldn’t have waited for a practically non-existing government to give us the go ahead before mounting a humanitarian effort to rescue these girls.” – Senator John McCain “Jonathan’s record on corruption is a disgrace.” – The Guardian UK “Mr Jonathan, who leads a corrupt government that has little credibility.” – New York Times Jonathan supporters over to you..we need answers |
