Secure the land first by putting something on it, even if it's just a room.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Exams Officer At British Council Or Assistant Registrar At WAEC? Informed Advice by amkaro(f): 8:28pm On Oct 12, 2016

U don't know how far wink

Anyways, OP pls look beyond pay.
Seek God Guidance.

Note: Both job offers exposure. But at BC, u will remain an Exam officer until u apply again for higher position, passing through d same process.

Stay blessed.

There are so many things I'll want u to consider.
1. How high can u rise in British Council?
2. How often do u get promoted?
3. Is ur salary incremental as u grow higher or static?
4. Is the job safe? Check out thr hire and fire policy
5. What are the other allowances and benefits in BC?

My advice, look beyond pay.

What I know u can get as an AR in WAEC

1. A very senior staff
2. The pay is good enough for starters. U will be shocked wen u get d offer letter or ur first pay. I know they pay than most organizations entry level apart from Oil and Gas.
3. Juicy bonuses
4. Safe job, timely promotion, and steady pay
5. Exposure ( locally and internationally)
......and more.

British Council is sweeter from pay band 6, trust me!

It's so funny how many of u so called Christians only stay away from sin only because of the fear of hell fire and not out of love for God and to do his will.

well, EO ... LEVEL 7..... FOR GRADUATES
BUT AEO..... def below level 7 which isn't for graduates....
the salary isn't that encouraging tho..

Oga don't say things u don't know.
AEO gets better pay than what most graduates get as contract staff in most Nigerian banks.
Don't discourage others.

Career / Re: Help A Brother! How Can I Choose A Career Path? I Studied Business Education! by amkaro(f): 8:20am On May 11, 2016
Pls forget this career path thingy for 9ja cos d work no plenty out there. I studied d same course just like u and during my job hunt, I met so many discouraging advice from friends and family. "Go teach" "Go do business" is all I hear from people. I started as a Sales Manager with one small company, from there to one of the top commercial banks, and now with one of the foremost examining body in Africa (with rest of mind). Although I did some professional courses added to my MBA.
So my brother....don't feel inferior. Stay focus and develop ursef more, and with God on ur side.....U will be successful.
