Racoon:
I wonder why a DIVORCE STAGE was never included because it is one of the most rampant nastic experience of marriage. Meanwhile, married people let relate and share experiences.
Based on this report, divorce is in stages 2-3 mostly, sometimes in stage 4 and rarely but also possible in stage 6.

Are you saying families no longer go pick nicking or what? Right now in Abuja, all parks and recreational centers are already filled up. By 6pm today, you won’t even be able to get a seat at almost all the bars and hotel lounges in Abuja. So, what’s your point?

If you no get money to flex, go and double your hustle. Stop trying to see your poverty in others.
Now people who have money visit those centers you mentioned. During IBB rule, even the poor visited those places and had fun. We travelled freely on Nigerians roads for up to 15 hours and even overnight without much security threats. All the fun places in my head now were mostly places we traveled to on road, stopped over at many locations and had fun.

Allow people express their personal valid opinions about their experiences. It's not your experience. It's theirs.

Do you still remember Easter celebration under these men and which of them was you favorite.

For me General Ibrahim badamosi babangida is my favorite. During his time cost of living was cheap.

Then recreational centres like
Apapa Amusement park
Bar beach
Federal Palace hotel
National theater

Will come alive with families having fun during Easter. Nobody remembered who was ruling us, except politicians, who are now become worse than the military they often criticised.

During holidays like Easter families rich and poor could afford to go picnicking on bar beach
Or swimming at federal Palace
Or my favorite going to apapa amusement park
Or watching troupes at national theater igamu..
I can still remember paying 50kobo gate fee to swim at federal Palace Hotel. What a time to be a Nigerian.

So How have your easter been. Fun, sober, violent and depressing.
You are right. I remember.

RomanceRe: Epidemic Of Single Mothers In The Hookup Scene by amoco(m): 2:30pm On Apr 05
Namaster:
9/10 hookup girls are single mothers. It doesn't matter how young they look, you'd still find out they have kids.

Just recently, I reached out to a petite.girl. By petite, I mean really small. This girl could not be taller than 5 feet but has a nice ass and moderate yansh.

I like to know a little about the holes I stick my schlong in. So I made my way to her TikTok page.

First thing i saw was a picture of a 9-year old boy with a caption that read "my heart". I was shocked. The boy was almost as tall as the hookup girl.

I was shocked! But not as shocked I was when I saw the next video. It was a video of her, the 9-year old boy and another 4-year old boy.

The petite girl had pumped out not 1 but 2 kids.

Yet this girl is hawking her condemned vagina for hookup.

I just moved on. I cannot tolerate hookup girls with vaginas that have been mangled by childbirth.

But it gets worse because that is not the only case. Majority of the girls I look into for hookup are single mothers. It's like a rite of passage for them. Give biryh and do hookup.
1. You didn't back this claim with data but simply concluded with your personal experience. Not a reliable data.
2. Why would you even consider hook-up? You are encouraging the bad behavior and yet condemning it. You obviously may have a lot of body counts but will be swift to condemn women for same thing.
3. Flee from fornication and adultery. It is sin against God. Get a wife and stick to your wife.

Thank you
Foreign AffairsRe: US Army Setup Military Base In Iran For Hours by amoco(m): 2:21pm On Apr 05
Namaster:
This is where you are WRONG.

First thing you have to understand is that WARFARE has ALWAYS been about Logistics and SUPPORT like the reconnaissance you mentioned.

In fact, those BASES were set up SPECIFICALLY for their abilities to provide LOGISTICS and SUPPORT to the US Military.

Military Bases ALWAYS serve Military Purpose.

The REASON the US Military is so DEADLY is because of their Military Bases that they have ACROSS the world ready to provide LOGISTICAL and INTELLIGENCE support at a moment's notice.

The US has over 800 Military Bases.
Russia has about 21.
China has maybe 1.
cheesy

Those US BASES will supply intelligence and repairs and other equipment to an INVADING Force.

They are NOT just for show.
War is NOT just about KABOOM-KABOOM.
It's about the Logistical and Supply Chains you have in place to keep it going.

For instance, the planes that were DESTROYED in the Saudi Airbase were TANKERS (Logistical support) and Surveillance planes (Intelligence Support).

Both are CRUCIAL to combat operations.

Another CLAIM that is NOT true is that "IRGC just wanted to KILL".

Before the war began, Iran stated CLEARLY and PLAINLY that ALL US Military Bases in the region would become VIABLE targets.

Because of that, the US EVACUATED most of their bases.
The people who died were SKELETON crew left as a kind of standing force.

In the second day of the war, Iran attacked about 15 US Bases and DESTROYED multiple THAADS.

And only the Kuwaiti base reported casualties.

The GOAL was to destroy the ability of the US to use those bases for LOGISTICAL supports.
Plus, the AIR DEFENCE systems in those bases were going to be deployed to INTERCEPT attacks meant for ILLsrael.

That was the purpose of those ATTACKS.
NOT wanting attempts to MURDER.

As for the need for AIRCRAFT CARRIERS despite the presence of those bases, here's a simple explanation:

The US Military is all about hitting the enemy with OVERWHELMING FORCE.

One Aircraft carrier can convey more than 70 aircrafts.
The BIGGEST ONE like USS Gerald Ford can convey up to 90.

That's more planes on ONE carrier than some COUNTRIES have in their ENTIRE Military.

grin

And for SERIOUS combat operations like the one in Iran, majority of those planes would be F-35s.

Parking those PERMANENTLY inside a foreign Military base is UNTENABLE.

Spies could STEAL those techs.
They could be hit in a SUCKER-PUNCH attack.
Plus, the host country would be very UNEASY.

In contrast, every aircraft carrier is a FLOATING FORTRESS with its own top-of-the-line AIR DEFENCE SYSTEMS.

These are the things to CONSIDER.
You are brilliant
BusinessRe: Nigerian Banks Raised ₦4.05 Trillion, How It Helps The Economy by amoco(m): 4:06am On Apr 01
ogugwa1992:
Nigeria’s Banks Just Raised ₦4.05 Trillion. Here Is The Part Nobody Is Talking About.

If you have a Nigerian bank account, read this.

The recapitalisation window closes today, March 31, 2026. 33 banks have crossed the finish line, raising a verified ₦4.05 trillion. If your first thought is "Audio money" or "Na them go chop am," let’s look at the facts; Countries that ran this exact play; Turkey, India, and Ghana give us insight into what could happen next.

The Global Playbook

- Turkey (2001): After recapitalising, GDP averaged 7% annual growth for five years as fresh bank cash unlocked massive private investment.
- India (2017): A $32 billion injection into public banks spiked credit growth from under 1% to over 7% in two years, removing the invisible chains holding local businesses back.
- Ghana (2017–2019): Cleaned up 9 banks and grew assets by 14.5% in a year. But reckless government borrowing dragged them to the IMF by 2022. The Lesson: Capital means nothing without system discipline.

The 60% Promise: Where the ₦4 Trillion is Going

Having ₦4 trillion in bank vaults won't drop tomato prices tomorrow, but Nigerian banks have officially committed 60% of this new capital directly to the real sector (Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure). For the first time, a ₦500 billion mega-bank can single-handedly fund a massive factory without begging a syndicate. This is the financial engine for a $1 trillion economy.

How the CBN is Preventing a Crash

To ensure this money doesn’t just end up with politician friends, the CBN installed strict guardrails:

- No Fresh Loans for Chronic Debtors: If you haven't paid back existing loans on the Credit Risk Management System (CRMS), you cannot access a single kobo of this new money.
- Ending the "Family Empire": Systemically Important Banks must now have a CBN-approved successor 6 months before an MD's tenure ends. No more emergency CEOs.
- The Stress-Test: Starting April 1, banks face a strict financial drill. They must prove they can survive severe economic shocks and assume all insider loans to their own directors are already lost money. If a bank's capital fails this test, they must submit a step-by-step plan to go back to the market to raise even more money within 18 months. This drill report is due by April 30

Now, How Do You Benefit?

The money is here, but benefiting requires intentional positioning:
- Business Owners (SMEs): Make your business "borrowable" with proper records. Banks are under strict CBN watch and will only fund structured plans. Think about it, It is no coincidence that the CBN recapitalisation lines up perfectly with the FIRS May 31st tax filing deadline. This speaks to an alignment between the Monetary and Fiscal policy side. If your tax documents aren't sorted and your business isn't fully compliant, you are locking yourself out. Clean records and tax compliance are no longer just government rules but are your only gate-pass to accessing this ₦4 trillion.

- Salary Workers: Watch the manufacturing and agriculture sectors. More credit to local factories means more Nigerian-made goods competing with imports, which eventually stabilizes prices and creates jobs.

The economic foundation is genuinely stronger today, and Nigeria’s $1 trillion economy is in motion. Are you positioned to benefit when the credit starts flowing? Or will you be explaining two years from now why you just watched it happen?

Check out our site (www.ratecard.ng) to see exactly what your bank raised, how it compares, and which macroeconomic indicators to watch going forward.

A good write-up with a positive economic outlook.
But then it's too early to draw conclusions.
We hope things turn out well for the banks and our local entrepreneurs esp the SMEs. CBN should further drop CRR and interest rate to ease the locked funds of banks which will help them to support businesses more and also reduce interest rates on loans

Rag that you use to clean the house
Broom that you are using to sweep
Broken mirror, don't let it near the room you sleep

It's good luck charm naturally
For aesthetics it's good not to keep dirty rag or brooms in one's room. For safety reasons, one shouldn't keep broken glasses in one's room.

Aside from aesthetics and safety of children ( for broken mirrors), there is no spiritual connection or luck or harm connected to this. Nothing.

If one lives in one room, all of these things stay in same room and nothing will happen.

If one lives in a house with more than a room, then one can keep them away from one's room just for aesthetics.

That's all.

RomanceRe: As A Woman, Never Do This With Your Colleague At Work by amoco(m): 5:31am On Mar 29
uche87:
In recent times, most people have no life outside of work. It is either that they are actually working or sleeping in preparation to return to work. The implication is that the workplace becomes where they socialise and build relationships. Due to spending extended hours with the same set of people, feelings develop, and romantic relationships begin. It seems like a normal and natural cycle. But it is a grave mistake that rarely ends well. It is a huge risk to take. As a woman, never sleep with your colleague. No matter the assurance he gives you, take your desires away from work. It is better to give your body to a friend on social media.

This sounds odd, but I will explain. The gist of someone sleeping with a colleague is always the hottest and most engaging conversation. Everybody pretends not to care, but they actually do. Anybody the information is shared promises confidentiality, but it is a lie. Among young adults, the news is exciting, so it gradually spreads from one person to another like wildfire in summer.

Most times, everybody gets to know except you. Yes, you haven’t committed a crime, but the implication is that every male colleague develops the encouragement and motivation to use “your Wi-Fi” as soon as the “current user” logs out.

Some mischievous men can be very patient, as long as they believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. It starts with warm smiles, small favours, offers to take you out, buying you simple gifts, dropping you off in their car, and even doing some heavy lifting for you at home. Some might take up your work tasks. All of this is geared towards making you comfortable and endeared to them. Before you know it, you are changing positions in bed. Several good women have innocently walked into this trap and can’t get out of it.

You have come of age, but nobody is proposing marriage. Instead, you are getting passed around like a pen in a banking hall. No man wants to marry a woman who has warmed more beds than a duvet. This is the wrong position to be in. If you find yourself in this trap, the best option is to change your workplace.

You need to start all over and break the cycle. It is a vicious one.

Wahala wahala wahala ooo

People don't understand what is going on and I don't blame them because US Media is imperialist propaganda so here's the 411:

Donald Trump is freaking out because he is not only losing, but this war against Iran is speeding up the collapse of the US empire

Iran taking control of the Strait of Hormuz is going to cost the US $3 trillion a year. Since the 1970s oil has been traded using the petrodollar. Iran knew this and knew it could severely weaken US hegemony by allowing ships to pass if they switched from the petrodollar to Chinese yuan.

The other major development that isn't being covered is the US has spent trillions of dollars on building US bases in order to occupy and control the Middle East. These bases have taken significant damage from Iranian missiles and are being abandoned.

The US is not and never was "liberating" Iran, but Iran is absolutely liberating the Middle East from US imperialism.

Like all empires of the past the US is no different: It is collapsing under the weight of its own greed, corruption, and barbarity.
I doubt you really understand what is going on here.

Iran is not in a position to decide things. Trump has the ace and is applying restraint because of the Iranian citizens he claims to love and wants to win to his side. Report says Iran initially rejected Trump's proposal but is now considering them albeit saying some are outrageous. Things are shifting underneath.
Sit back and observe. Don't be in a hurry to analyze.

EducationRe: Are Modern School Uniforms Slowly Losing Their Importance by amoco(m): 8:20am On Mar 24
Fictional:
Walk into many schools in Nigeria today and you will notice something interesting.

Some pupils look like little bankers.
Some look like they are going to a wedding.
Some look like they are attending a fashion show.

Blazers.
Suits.
Ties.
Waistcoats.
Different coloured socks.

It raises a simple question.

What exactly is the purpose of a school uniform?

Pause.

School uniforms did not start as fashion.
They started as a symbol of equality.

Across the world, school uniforms were created to send a message.

“We are one here.”

Whether a child came from a rich home or a struggling family, once they wore that uniform, they belonged.
No competition.
No pressure.
Just learning.

In many countries, uniforms are simple.

A shirt.
A skirt or shorts.
Sometimes a sweater when the weather is cold.

Nothing dramatic.
Nothing stressful.

Because the focus is school… not appearance.

But in many modern Nigerian schools today, things are changing.

Some schools now have four, five, even seven different uniforms.

Monday uniform.
Sports wear.
Cultural day wear.
House wear.
Friday wear.
Blazer day.
Club wear.

Pause again.

Is this still about education… or about appearance?

Now let’s talk about suits and blazers for children.

Many school owners say suits make children look smart.
Professional.
Disciplined.

And yes, there are some arguments for suits.

Reasons some schools like suits

1. They create a formal environment.
Children feel they are in a serious place.

2. They prepare children for professional settings.
Some believe it builds confidence early.

3. They make the school look prestigious.
Photos look beautiful.
Marketing becomes easier.

But pause again.

Looking good is not the same as learning well.

Now let’s look at the other side.

The challenges of suits for children in Nigeria

First… the weather.

Nigeria is hot.
Very hot.

Especially in places like Lagos, Ogun, Port Harcourt, or Abuja during dry season.

Now imagine a 12-14-year-old child wearing:

A shirt.
A tie.
A blazer.

By 10am the child is already sweating, yes most schools do have air Conditioning systems but still...

By break time the blazer is hanging on the chair.

By closing time it is stuffed inside the school bag.

So we ask again.

Is the suit serving the child… or stressing the child?

Second… children move a lot.

They run.
They jump.
They play.

Suits are not designed for playgrounds.

They are designed for boardrooms.

Third… the cost.

Blazers and suits are expensive.

And children grow fast.

A blazer bought this term may not fit next term.

For many families, this becomes a silent burden.

Especially when schools insist that uniforms must be bought only from the school.

Pause.

Another thing to think about is the meaning of uniform itself.

The word uniform comes from two simple ideas:

Uni — one
Form — appearance

One appearance.

But when a school has too many uniforms, the purpose begins to fade.

Instead of unity, it creates pressure.

Parents start calculating.

“Which one have we bought?”
“Which one are we still owing?”
“Which one is for Wednesday again?”

And the children feel it too.

Some have everything.
Some do not.

The very thing meant to reduce differences… starts to highlight them.

Pause.

So here is the real question for school owners.

What message is your school uniform sending?

Is it saying:

“Here we focus on learning”?

Or is it quietly saying:

“Here we focus on appearance”?

Uniforms should make children feel comfortable, confident, and equal.

Not hot.
Not pressured.
Not burdened.

In the past, many Nigerian schools kept uniforms simple.

One main uniform.
One sports wear.

And that was enough.

Children still became doctors.
Engineers.
Professors.
Leaders.

So today we must ask honestly.

Have we improved the system… or complicated it?

What is your take on this?
Good article. Balanced.
We are just making simple things more complex.

LoneSoldier:
I have been away from Nairaland for over a year now, focusing on my life and career. I didn’t plan to come back here, but what I witnessed this past weekend has left me trembling. I cannot keep this secret alone; it is eating me alive.

My close friend, Tunde (not his real name), has been married for 7 years without a child. The guy has spent millions on fertility treatments, herbs, and prayers. The wife always told me Tunde was the "problem" but that he refused to go for a clinical sperm test out of "male pride." I always pitied her and encouraged Tunde to go, but he remained stubborn.

The Timeline of the Betrayal:

Friday Evening: I met them at a lounge in Ikeja to celebrate. Tunde was over the moon, buying drinks for everyone. He told me, "Lonesoldier, God has finally remembered me!" He was even showing me the baby clothes and a stroller he already bought.

Saturday Afternoon: The wife called me, sounding very troubled. We met privately because she knows I am Tunde’s closest confidant. She broke down crying and confessed: She is 3 months pregnant, but the baby belongs to their Church Marriage Counselor.

The Reason: She said she "helped" Tunde because he is "useless" in that department and she couldn't wait any longer.

The Cover-up: She told me the Counselor himself advised her to keep the secret to "maintain peace in the home" and give Tunde the joy of fatherhood, even if it’s a lie.

I haven't been able to sleep. Every time I see Tunde’s WhatsApp status with "Thank You Jesus" captions, I feel like vomiting. If I tell him, I will destroy a 7-year marriage and a man's joy. If I don't, I am watching my brother raise a marriage counselor's child as a fool.

Men of Nairaland: Is "peace" worth this kind of paternity fraud?
Women of Nairaland: How can a woman be this cold-hearted after 7 years of loyalty?

Good day everyone.

So recently I've been thinking about marriage. Tho I'm in a relationship but the woman I've been dating doesn't really seem to have the same serious interest and intentions like me. I've talked to her severally but it seems she isn't ready to settle down yet. Imagine this is someone whom I've gone to see her people and they know me well. My own people know her too. I've equally talked to her mom since she's the one parent she has . And had also talked to her best friend about it too.

But one thing I've noticed about her is that she's over religious and seems to be too close to her pastor. The last time I talked to her about the marriage stuff, she directed me to go and talk to her pastor. Tho I was initially furious about it but I just had to man up,kill my pride and decided to pay her pastor a visit.

From the conversation I had with her pastor,it seems he's one of the major stumbling blocks. Because he was only curious about my financial status sad he was even asking me what was my source of livelihood, and of which I told him. Afterwards,he then asked me what was my monthly salary. Saying if I'm sure I can take care of my fiancee with that amount,or if I'm planning to have a side hustle. That he doesn't want a case where any of her spiritual daughter will go into a marriage where she'll be suffering. I told her categorically clear that I'm not a lazy man and I don't intend to put anyone's daughter into suffering in the name of marriage.

It's been over a week since I left the pastor's office, and since then,my fiancee has been behaving so cold towards me.

So I don't know whether to continue with my proposal or I should just kindly look for another lady to marry.

But how Mark Rutte handed over is a lesson for African leaders. In July 2024 after winning elections, Schoof arrived at the Prime Minister's Office in The Hague for handover. Schoof and Rutte signed the handover documents, displayed the documents for the press to take pictures, after which Mark Rutte came out of the building, got on his bicycle, waved to the New Prime Minister and his aid, they waved back, and Mark Rutte cycled away to his house after 14 years in power. The whole thing did not take up to 15 minutes

They are all gonna fall in line, even though the US is just testing their loyalty,it doesn’t really need that much help…Israel alone is enough for Iran..EU as a whole is nothing without the US!
You may be right. I doubt Trump is overwhelmed by this war yet. Perhaps he is just testing their loyalty for use against them in the future. I think Trump still has more cards to play that he has kept close to his chest.

For me, the war should end. No need for unnecessary war anywhere. People should live peacefully and do business peacefully.
RomanceRe: Immorality Has Eaten Deep Into Our Genz by amoco(m): 8:06am On Mar 21
Guys! Who's to blame for this moral decadence of our genz?
.
N.B: I am not saying immorality hasn't been there since ages o, just that it has been taking to a whole new dimension, another level entirely.[/quote]The society needs to turn back to God. A godless society has no restraints, no moral compass, no responsibility to higher powers, lack of awareness of consequences in life after here.

The older generation has a share of the blames. Some parents don't care about moral upbringing of their wards. The politicians do things without consequences. Some religious leaders lead double and hypocritical lifestyles. Joblessness. Get-rich-quick syndrome.

We may not like it but an unregenerated soul doesn't care about moral standards. Anything goes. And that is what a godless society looks like.
FamilyRe: My Friend Almost Lost Her Marriage And She Didn’t Even Realize Why” by amoco(m): 7:58am On Mar 21
Nnakatsan:
I was talking to a friend recently and she opened up about something that shocked me.

She said her husband had changed… less attention, less affection, always on his phone.

At first, she thought it was just stress. But over time, the distance became obvious.

What struck me was this — nothing “big” had happened.
No fight. No major issue.
Just slow emotional and physical disconnection.

It made me realize something…
Most marriages don’t break suddenly — they fade quietly.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately, especially how attraction and effort change after marriage.

For those who are married — what do you think causes this?
Many reasons but we won't know.
We can only hazard a few guesses.
Isnt it better she sits down with him and discuss challenges he is going through and see how they can resolve it.

Financial pressures can push a man who doesn't want to trouble the wife to withdraw. Denial of sex can. Discovery of an unpleasant secret or info about the wife can. What was their relationship like during courtship? She can just ask what changed first and then take it up from there.

Marriages of a few years old are always challenging. From 10 years upwards, they would have weathered some issues and then push ahead with experience.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israeli PM Nethanyahu: Jesus Christ Stands No Change Against Ghengis Khan (video by amoco(m): 12:52pm On Mar 20
PMForce:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday (March 19) delivered a press conference amid the war between the US-Israel and Iran. Even as he spoke about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, a comment he made about Jesus Christ and Genghis Khan sparked a row, with many accusing Netanyahu of being "anti-Christian."

In his address, Netanyahu said: "Jesus Christ has no advantage over Genghis Khan. If you are strong enough, ruthless enough, and powerful enough, evil will overcome good." His comments seemed to come in reference to a 2019 interview where he summarized historian Will Durant's book “The Lessons of History.”

The clip of Netanyahu's remark went viral, with many interpreting the comments as anti-Christian.

@Grok why did the original poster edit Bibi to remove the context and the fact he was quoting someone else? More important, why didn’t you catch that and include it in your original response?

Grok response:
The Disclose.tv post uses an old (~2019) clip with a paraphrased caption that drops "unfortunately/unhappily" and full phrasing. Netanyahu was summarizing historian Will Durant's "Lessons of History": history often favors the strong (Genghis) over moral examples (Christ) unless values are defended with power—not endorsing evil winning.

Thanks for setting the records straight.

Even if many Jews don't believe Jesus of Nazareth is the saviour and Messiah promised by God Jehovah in the old testament, they do acknowledge his historicity.

I am happy that men are now voicing out against the manipulation that women have hold on men for the longest of time. Gosh I am happy seeing this and this is not only happening on social media but real life. Omoh e sweet me

Omoh peace of mind and self sufficiency is the goal ooo

Some things I have learned about women that has shaped me positively

- Women see men as work machines, the moment you stop being useful, she will just discard you. Now when she knows that discarding you will make her lose, she will help the man find a job to be useful again, many men will say the wife is loving whereas women will never do something that won't benefit them. Look at most married men doing work that they dont like simply to work for a woman and her children.
- Women dont think of men the way men think of women, like men are really last thing women think of. When a woman thinks of a man, she wants to benefit from that man. Women will choose the company of another woman or fictitious character ahead of a man, and believe me when I say that this has played out 100% of the time.
- Women wont date themselves if they were men. They are always broke and enjoy poverty and wait for a man to lift them out of poverty. The average woman is POOR and they will keep living in that POVERTY while waiting for a man/
- Women withhold sex for manipulative purposes. As I read from someone here is to control your sexual urges too. Women have mastered that art so well.
- Women need children to continue to feel HELPLESS and depend on the father of the children or society for help.

Omoh understanding women is the beginning of freedom for every man.

His usefulness expired and so she left him behind, he wasn't informed 😂

This is the foundation of FREEDOM.
It appears you haven't met elderly couples in which case the woman who is younger is fully supporting the husband based on how the husband had supported her over the years?

Life is always a matter of give and take. Nothing comes free.

I met an old friend and all he was doing was hyping his wife. When I visited them together, he kept on adoring her in front of me like he was paid to do it. Financial crisis recently hit them, he now does Uber while his wife via other connections was able to japa alone. I don't know if he's still adoring her or maybe he has hopes that she will connect him to join her.
You don't have the whole tales and so wouldn't know.

There are so many men who genuinely have been helped by their wives contrary to what you see outside. Many good women quietly put in a lot of work to support their families and stand back to allow the man take the glory outside. A wise man who is in this position will reciprocate by using every slight opportunity to praise his wife.

Only time will tell whether your friend's fits into this narrative or whether he was acting. The wife could still assist him or may abandon him. Only time will tell. I wish they bounce back okay. Life is always complicated even for single persons.

The fear of Iran is the beginning of wisdom, now the rhetoric is changing
I doubt you really understand what Trump said up there. Iran doesn't hold the ace. The US is applying restraint because of mutual interest and the Iranian citizens. He did add that further escalations from Iran will make him change his mind. That is not a position of anyone afraid of Iran.

For me, war is bad. We should all live peacefully and do our businesses without threats from any quarters.
The escalation has affected us all.

You are trying to be a better version of your dad yet we didn't see you say how you have supported him.

Faithful married women out there are faithful because of either of 2 major reasons.

FEAR OF TRADITION/CULTURE.

FEAR OF RELIGION.

If you take the above 2 off the table, we no get any clean woman again for this life.

WHY DO PEOPLE STILL GET MARRIED NOWADAYS SEF?
We have MILLIONS of faithful, responsible, God-fearing men and women all over the world.
Just calm down and do your search and you will get.
You also need to have same qualities you are looking for in your woman. It's a two-way thing and no double standards.

People are getting married steady. Many are not enjoying their marriage. And many are enjoying theirs. Marriage is for mature minds and for those willing to put in the works and the sacrifices.

Is it justifiable to be faithful because of deterrents like family name, self pride, self commitment, marriage commitment, discipline, societal constructs, religion, fear of God, fear of failure, fear of getting caught, fear of the negative consequences of cheating, etc etc?

Yes all of those are good if they make you responsible and faithful. We all have motivations for living right. Nothing wrong with that.
