Take it or leave it Konji is a no respecter to anyone.

I know people will come for my for my comment. Some of you will say it is insanity for one to have sexual feelings for a close relative. But believe me, the devil is crazier than you can ever imagine. So the best thing to do is to be conscious of your thoughts and actions. The devil is at work, you have to watch out.

Career / Re: Please What Work Does The Operation Department In Petroleum Companies Do? by Amoshie(m): 1:22am On Jul 05, 2016
I am not too sure but what they do is they own filling stations, others too they franchise. So they buy the products and sell at this stations. I don't think they have anything doing onshore.
AnakinSkywalker:

It depends on the segment of the Oil and Gas value chain your company is.
Operations activities and functions vary from Exploration, Drilling/Completion, Production/Storage/Off loading, Refining, Bulk Storage/Terminal to even retailing. There is also some variation from company to company.
So, it will be important to know which segment of the Oil and Ga Value chain your company falls into. From there we can give useful insights (not 100 per cent accurate) on what to expect.
Career / Please What Work Does The Operation Department In Petroleum Companies Do? by Amoshie(m): 3:22pm On Jul 04, 2016
I have gotten the opportunity to work with a company which deals in petroleum and its products. I thought they were going to post me to manage any of their new stations around town but the man that took me there insisted they deploy me in the operation department. But seriously I have no clue what that department does. I have checked online for information but I am not getting the right information I need. So please those working at similar companies or have clue on what they do should give me tips on what I need to know or do to succeed in there. It is a dream about to come true and I can't afford to be anything less than the best . Thank you in anticipation of your insightful guidance.

A little advice to you (If you are a Muslim) avoid "riya" don't let this narration be a means of getting people's sympathy and appraisal. But let all your efforts be for the sake of God.

Politics / How Buhari Averted Disaster In Ogoni Land by Amoshie(m): 3:11pm On Jun 05, 2016
If Buhari had visited Ogoniland and an attempt was made on his life, two things would have happened and both would have led to only one end. One is to take him out using snipers or whatever and then what? The army will wipe the entire Southeast and South South off the surface of the earth. The army, Air force, Navy and all other security forces will be given a 'shoot at sight order' to keep shelling the entire region until nothing moves again, yes, nothing. The other is to make an attempt on his life and he escapes the assassination plot; either ways, the security agents will still kill everyone and everything. So, who wins?No matter how it plays out, the northerners will immediately commence ethnic Cleansing against the millions of southerners in the North and the Southerners will also annihilate the Few northerners in the South and a full scale war that is worse than the Biafra or bokoHaram war will begin. Every ethnic group will take up arm against the other and continue to kill one another till the whole country is littered with corpses. Then the international community will wade into the crisis in the name of quelling the fight and take our oil and lands away from us.Then another round of Colonialization will begin in full gear and the few ones that are lucky to be alive will become slaves to the West. Biafra is lost and One Nigeria is also lost. So, who wins? Then 60 years from now, one of the few lucky survivors of the war will author a book with the title: 'There was a country' or 'Buhari's visit to Ogoniland: The beginning of the end of Nigeria'; or something like that. Again, who wins? But after a deep thought, I told myself that Buhari was right to cancel his visit and take the Shame that comes with it. He has clearly demonstrated a rare statesmanship that is worthy of emulation. The Buhari that I know is not worried about his life; he fought in the Biafra war 49 years ago. He is a war General who has seen death on several occasions. He is only concerned about the millions of life that will be wasted because of him as well as the aftermath effect of such bloody situation on the over 170million lives of fellow Nigerians.Thank you Baba for saving our lives. You have just earned yourself the title of 'The father of a new Nigeria! Shame on you Wailers!God bless President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR!God bless Nigeria!!

Jokes Etc / How Church Members Turn Gossip Into Prayer Points by Amoshie(m): 6:37pm On Mar 14, 2016
Funny how Some people make GOSSIP sound like PRAYER POINTS.
They start like this....

" People Of God, let's remember Brother Raphael Gator in our Prayers. He has Gonorrhea and doctors said they are even screening him for HIV too,but we know dat our God can heal him... so brothers and sisters let's pray for Divine healing, pray.. pray.."

"Brethren let's also pray for sister Amanda and Brother Emma... sis Amanda is pregnant for bro. Emma & bro. Emma is not ready for marriage now, you know they are not married right? Ok.... He told her to abort but she refused, the situation is tearing them and their families apart. Let's pray to God for peace & amicable settlement "

"Children of God's kingdom, let's remember Mr and Mrs Bennest, in our prayers, Mr Bennest left Mrs Bennest, for one young sister Peace in choir. That light skinned slim sister dat works in d Bank, Hmmm.. . Let's pray for God to restore Mr & Mrs Bennest marriage o... Brethren pray open your mouth and pray . The Lord will answer us.

"And finally before we close... let us lift sister Immaculate b4 d Lord. She has been suspended from her place of work due to some fraud in her office... We know she is innocent... Even though she has been wearing some expensive Jewelries lately plus dat new car she just bought... erhh... let pray dat as d police are
carrying out dia investigations... those things will not be seized in Jesus name... please praaaaay.... she is one of us o... Pray pray pray... !!!

The initial gra gra is always the problem. If you can overcome the fear in the first 10-20 seconds of your talk, then everything falls in place. The most important thing is to be well prepared. The knowledge alone that you are prepared and is not gonna embarrass yourself in public will boost your confidence. So know your stuff before mounting the podium.

Romance / Re: Advice Needed! How Do I Help My Partner?? by Amoshie(m): 1:00am On Feb 01, 2016
I once had a female friend who suffered from depression. I did just as you did, I searched and read alot of materials to help her. But I later had to combine all I have learnt with common sense. With the help of God my little efforts paid.

First of all let him understand that you sincerely care for him, then encourage him to speak to you about his problems and concerns. If you achieve this cool, if he ain't ready to Speak don't worry try this, ask him if there is anything you could do to make him feel better. If he opens up cool, do it for him so far as it is within your reach if it is something you can't immediately do then subtly make other suggestions for him. But please don't let him feel like you are dictating things for him.

If he's still not ready to speak, then I suggest you give him some space. If he loves you, he might feel guilty for the treatment he gave you and probably come back to himself and apologizes.

I wish you all the best.
