I know you're suffering from selective amnesia so I am here to remind you that before the coming of APC into power at the centre the currency was already on a downward spiral due to dwindling revenues occasioned by low crude oil price which accounts for majority of our FX earnings and a dollarized economy, even SLS sounded the alarm bell in a viral speech where he cautioned the government on the need to save for the rainy day. Then when APC came into office they were faced with renewed attacks on oil facilities by militants in the ND and a very low oil price (crude oil sold for less than $30pb and production level dropped significantly that we were unable to meet OPEC quota, FG went to China to sign a currency deal to mitigate the FX crisis since we import mostly from China and it didn't pan out as expected, as pressure mounted on the Naira what was expected other than devaluation of currency?
The cause of our FX woes is not entirely APC's fault the bulk of it lies on factors beyond their immediate control.
