BREAKING GOOD NEWS 🔥

Precision Airstrikes Crush Sambisa Enclaves, Scores of Terrorists Eliminated

The Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI has recorded a significant operational breakthrough following a series of precision airstrikes that neutralised scores of terrorists in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the mission was launched based on credible intelligence indicating heightened insurgent activity around the Parisu axis deep within the forest.

At about 9:00 p.m. on March 20, an air asset was deployed to conduct an armed reconnaissance and interdiction operation over the target area. Upon arrival, the platform established visual contact with suspected Boko Haram fighters moving in a coordinated and tactical manner.

Further surveillance showed the insurgents converging on a concealed structure camouflaged under dense vegetation. Maintaining persistent overwatch, the aircrew trailed the movement to the hideout and executed a precision strike.

The strike was delivered with high accuracy, destroying the structure and neutralising multiple terrorists on site.

Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) conducted after the strike revealed that several insurgents fled from adjoining hideouts in disarray, attempting to escape deeper into the forest.

Maintaining pressure, the air platform tracked the fleeing elements and conducted a follow-up strike on another identified hideout. The second engagement further degraded the terrorists’ capabilities, destroying additional targets and forcing surviving fighters into chaotic retreat.

The sustained air presence and successive precision engagements highlight increasing air dominance, effectively denying terrorists freedom of movement and sanctuary within their enclaves.

Military sources added that the operation is part of ongoing, coordinated air and ground offensives aimed at dismantling remaining terrorist strongholds across Sambisa Forest and its surrounding corridors.

Saudi Arabia on Saturday denounced Israel’s strikes on Syrian army camps as “blatant Israeli aggression,” calling on the international community to intervene.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation of the blatant Israeli aggression that targeted military infrastructure in the south of the sister Arab Republic of Syria, in flagrant violation of international law and Syria’s sovereignty,” the Saudi foreign ministry said in a statement.

CONCIERGE OF EVIL (Consigliere of the Concierge)
@ConciergeofEvil
The Nigerian Armed Forces, Army, Navy, Air Force, and supporting units, have been engaged in one of the most intense, multi-front security operations anywhere in Africa for well over a decade. They confront Boko Haram and ISWAP in the North-East, heavily armed bandit groups across the North-West and North-Central zones, separatist militants and unknown gunmen in the South-East, and piracy along with illegal oil bunkering in the Niger Delta creeks. These are not occasional clashes. They involve daily ambushes, the destruction of IED production sites, hostage rescues under direct fire, and night operations against bandit camps concealed in thick forests and remote valleys.

In recent months alone, official statements and independent reports document hundreds of terrorists and bandits neutralised, thousands of weapons recovered (including large numbers of AK-47s), IED factories destroyed, and kidnapped civilians freed. Fresh air platforms have been approved, intelligence-led technological approaches introduced, and even the United States has committed substantial funding to support counter-insurgency efforts across the region. Soldiers operate in mud, heavy rain, and extreme heat, surviving on basic combat rations, losing comrades to base attacks, yet they continue to advance. That level of commitment reflects genuine sacrifice, far removed from any public relations exercise.

Public recognition, however, remains almost nonexistent beyond occasional Defence Headquarters communiqués and sparse Ministry of Defence updates. There are no widespread viral TikTok videos, no massive Instagram campaigns, and no sustained nationwide expressions of gratitude comparable to what some countries show their military. The fallen rarely receive weeks of front-page coverage or public parades. Instead, the dominant conversation is either complete silence or active hostility.

Whenever the Army releases evidence of recovered explosives or a cleared terrorist hideout, certain segments of social media erupt with coordinated criticism: 🚨accusations of staged photographs, manipulated images, claims that the military is “useless,” suggestions that soldiers target civilians, or assertions that political figures have deliberately weakened the forces.

📍Some accounts, frequently tied to IPOB sympathisers as the military has repeatedly noted, run sustained efforts to discredit operations in the South-East, framing every success as part of an ethnic conspiracy. In the North, others simply label every development a “failure” even as bandits are eliminated in firefights and hostages are recovered. The Chief of Army Staff has publicly stated that relentless negative social media commentary severely damages troop morale. When personnel are risking their lives in forward positions and the citizens they protect respond by questioning their loyalty, celebrating their supposed defeat, or branding them as tools of any administration, the psychological toll is heavy.

These detractors rarely limit themselves to legitimate policy critique or calls for better equipment and welfare. Far too often they appear to actively desire the military’s collapse, as though national security forces failing would somehow resolve underlying problems. That mindset conveniently overlooks the daily cost: soldiers lost in a single week to ISWAP ambushes, forward operating bases overrun, yet the same units regroup, adapt, and prevent the country from descending into complete lawlessness. The Armed Forces are not flawless. No military operating under resource constraints and facing asymmetric threats ever is. Still, they remain the primary barrier between order and widespread anarchy while most citizens go about their lives undisturbed.

The contrast is stark and damaging. The same individuals who relentlessly criticise would not endure a single day in Sambisa Forest or a village under bandit control.

TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI FOIL COORDINATED TERRORIST ATTACKS AT NJIMTILO, BAGA, BURATAI , DAMBOA, INFLICT HEAVY LOSSES ON ISWAP FIGHTERS

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have once again demonstrated superior combat readiness and tactical dominance by successfully thwarted terrorist attacks launched by ISWAP fighters on multiple troops locations at Njimtilo, Baga, Buratai and Damboa. The attacks, which occurred in the early hours of 16 March 2026, were mounted from several directions in a desperate attempt by the terrorists to gain propaganda advantage and overrun military positions.

At Ajiri Cross, ahead of Njimtilo, terrorists attempted to infiltrate positions mounted by troops of Sector 1 but were swiftly detected and decisively engaged by the vigilant troops who had anticipated the move and prepared a deliberate offensive-defensive posture to defeat the assault. Through coordinated firepower and tactical manoeuvre designed to disrupt the attackers and cut off their withdrawal routes, the terrorists were routed and forced into a disorganised retreat while suffering heavy casualties. Similar desperate attacks at Baga, Buratai and Damboa were met with determined resistance as troops brought superior firepower to bear on the attackers. The engagements were further reinforced by timely close air support from the Air Component and the Nigerian Army Aviation, whose precision strikes disrupted the terrorists’ assault formations and compounded their losses as they attempted to withdraw.

During the engagements, several terrorists were neutralised, including a key leader who spearheaded the Buratai assault, while many others sustained injuries as they fled along their withdrawal routes. Despite the intensity of the firefights, which resulted in the destruction of some equipment and a number of wounded personnel, troops remained resolute and maintained firm control of all locations while continuing exploitation operations to pursue the fleeing terrorists.

Following the engagements, troops conducted exploitation operations around Baga, extending to Korochara and Garin Giwa ahead of the Gidan Kaje general area. During the exploitation, troops recovered significant quantities of enemy weapons and equipment, including 3 PKT machine guns, 7 AK-47 rifles, 206 rounds of PKT ammunition, 418 rounds of anti-aircraft ammunition, 7 AK-47 magazines, 3 AK-74 magazines and 3 RPG bombs. Other items recovered include 2 camel bags, 3 head warmers, 1 blanket, 1 magazine carrier and 1 litre of engine oil, while 3 motorcycles used by the terrorists were also destroyed. In addition, 7 terrorist corpses were recovered while the miscreants buried another 20 bodies in shallow graves.

These failed attacks further demonstrate the growing desperation of terrorist elements under sustained operational pressure from OPHK forces across the Theatre. The successive defeats inflicted on the terrorists have significantly constrained their freedom of action and disrupted their attempts to create false propaganda narratives.

Troops remain in high spirits and continue to dominate the operational environment through superior tactical coordination, decisive firepower and sustained offensive operations against terrorist enclaves and logistics corridors. Operation HADIN KAI therefore reassures the public that all affected locations remain firmly under the control of own troops and that the Joint Task Force remains fully committed and capable of decisively defeating terrorist elements across the North East. Members of the public are also urged to remain vigilant and disregard disinformation and fake reports aimed at undermining ongoing counter-terrorism operations.

TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI THWART TERRORIST INFILTRATION AT BITTA, DEAL ANOTHER DECISIVE BLOW TO ISWAP NOTORIOUS FIGHTERS

Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have once again demonstrated another superior combat readiness and tactical dominance by successfully thwarted a terrorist infiltration attempt at Bitta in Sector 1. The failed attack occurred when ISWAP terrorists, in a desperate bid to regain the initiative after recent battlefield setbacks, attempted to infiltrate the troops location. Unknown to the terrorists, vigilant OPHK troops had anticipated the move and deliberately prepared a decisive offensive-defensive battle plan.

As the terrorists advanced towards the position, the troops launched coordinated spoiling actions that effectively disrupted the assault formation while simultaneously manoeuvring to cut off the terrorists’ withdrawal routes. The attackers were consequently met with overwhelming resistance and superior firepower, forcing them into a chaotic withdrawal while suffering significant losses.

This latest defeat represents the third major blow inflicted on the terrorists within the last twenty-four hours, following their failed attacks at Banki and Azir Bridge. These successive setbacks further highlight the continued operational pressure being mounted by the troops of Operation HADIN KAI across the theatre, which has severely constrained the terrorists’ freedom of action and denied them any opportunity to exploit propaganda narratives.

Troops remain firmly in control of all locations and continue to dominate the operational environment with high morale, superior tactical coordination and sustained offensive action. The Military High Command commended the troops for their continuous gallantry and resilience, urging them to sustain the operational tempo .
