The Chelsea conundrum is actually a big task to figure out.The profiles in the attack are unbalanced, they lost key members from their strongest area (the defence),the midfield is possibly upgradable.And Tuchel has excelled before with 4 at the back rather than 3-4-3. It’s tough.
A Tuchel shape that looks effective is 4-4-2 (used it at PSG). Kovačić in a pivot with a new 6 (or Jorginho), Mount off the left wing with Dembélé maintaining width off the right. Havertz up front with a proper number 9. A dominant CB like Koulibaly.But that is tough to pull off.

If Tuchel sticks with 3-4-3 then Koundé is a must-buy for the right-sided CB role. There’s no other option on the market who has his reading of the game, athleticism & ball-playing ability. Rüdiger is a big loss but you can compensate for it by upgrading the CB on the other side. @PremierLeaguePanel
