Calling me Aboki doesn't change the narrative you and your likes are. Stop complaining to President Buhari to Unlock your state for you to go about your business activities. President Buhari did not lock down your state. Go to your governor to unlock what he has locked and stop disturbing President Buhari. Simple admonishment , how is it still hard for you and your likes to understand. Go through my replies and you would understand that if it is palliative the President have done that and still doing. He didn't lock down your state,go to your governor. God bless Nigeria!!! Sctests: Abokki close your rotten mouth. The province of Nova scotia is not the one paying Canadians $2000 but the Government of Canada.
Abooki buharideen, whether you like it or not, buhari carries all the blames he is the president and will continued to be called to order to meet his responsibility. If he is tired of critics, he should leave the No 1 public office and retire to daura, no one will give a damn.

I just hope you truly understand what is lockdown by the government of a state or federal government. It comes with pronouncement. That the President Buhari led government gave palliative across Nigeria doesn't mean he locked down the whole country. He shared palliative across the country because he's a Loving and caring President who despite not locking others peoples state still go ahead and care for them. There are evidence that the president support to some state citizens is far better than what there state government gave to them. Because you can't mention a single state that gave even if it is just one of their Citizens 20k as palliative as the president has done for the poorest across Nigeria. So calling on the President to unlock their State for business activities as if it is the President that lockdown the state is Absolutely Wrong. God bless Nigeria!!! joyandfaith: op should respond to this. |

But for those shouting that they should allow them go about their business should direct that to their State Governors to unlock what they locked and stop complaining to the president who did not lock down the state. Anyway ,the Federal government of Nigeria should endeavour to pay all its employees( from A-Z)because i don't want to start sharing my salary with lots of people because of fucking coronavirus(i already have lots of responsibilities). The concern is not majorly about the palliative, even if it is the President has done for the citizens they could reach out to across Nigeria. But for the most part of the state where the President didn't lock down and are now shouting free us we want to go out as if the President lock down there state. They should direct their complain to their Governors and Not President Buhari. God bless Nigeria!!! Anwons: See this one o? Despite the evidence and fact that it's only Lagos, Ogun and the FCT were locked down by the President, some people who are not in the states mentioned above keep complaining and even insulting the President despite that they are presently lockdown by their respective state government.
Whether South South, North East, South East and North West, non have been locked down presently by the President. Except FCT in North Central and two state in South West(Lagos and Ogun)
States like Rivers, Ebonyi just to mention few even locked down their State before President Buhari locked down Ogun,Lagos and FCT.
Already as usual and expected some haters of the President have started to make it looks to citizens of Nigeria that even the present lock down in their respective State is done by the President. No No No is the answer for those who Care to know. Why coming out to bash the President for not opening your state for business when he never locked down your state in the first instance. Go and complain to your governor and leave the President out of this. For your governor have the right to open up the state for economic activities, hence the president is not stopping them.
So any issue rising as a result of the Lock Down in your state should be directed to your governor for they locked down your state presently.
It's right to do the right thing rightly despite your hate for the President.
God bless Nigeria!!!

As more testing kit are available and done, it's normal that the number should increase.
We should keep safe as more discharged are made and it looks the number of deaths would not be scary as our time into the virus in our country has been more than two months now

Scammers not happy about this News.
And this should also serve as a lesson to people who don't check and confirm the source of the information they get before utilizing it. Not every information you see online that is credible, check the source very well especially if it's government or corporate institution. Just go to their legit website or contact credible person who have contact first.
This days most online media platforms spread fake information since they don't do investigative journalism.

Good suggestion,I must say haywire07: It's hightime Nigeria stopped international sales of oil in full capacity. Let us channel ample amount of the oil to a reservoir and save up for a better day. Cut deals with some African countries and use their reservoirs if ours is filled
When we save enough, the Government should declare our refineries ''out of service".
After this Covid -19 pandemic, we begin to sell from our reservoirs for the main time, while the refineries will be under renovation.
And also very importantly is the need to diversify. |

I think the government is trying her best. The fact is that if you don't lock down the spread of the virus would be more rapid, hence the lock down help in mitigating it even though lock down worldwide has no prove of total elimination As I conclude the consequences in caring for a sick family is more traumatizing especially when you need to depend on ventilator in gasping for air at which moment the food issue would become insignificant. At the challenge of lesser facilities including ventilator to cater for all it may become a selective thing on who should live and who should die. But hunger, though tough too can be managed as compared to a deadly sickness like covid walexbiz: Sir, I do not understand your assertion in this write up,if I may get you right, you posit that it was wrong for citizens to call the FG to lockdown the nation so as to bar those coming in from other nation.
Well as for me, late lockdown of the borders was put us in this problem. If the FG had lockdown our borders and set up isolation camp close to the airport for those who would still enter we would not be in this problem.
The real issue now is how do we address these issues has government has shown that it is completely clueless on how to address the issue at hand. The lock down has made the has become ineffective because we now have local vectors with no travel history. So whether we like to or not the country must open up so that economic activities can resume as hunger itself is a pandemic on itself which can wreak havoc of escalating dimension.
The FG should open and enforce personal hygiene to guard against the transmission of the virus. The FG as a matter of urgency should enforce the use of face mask as precondition for those who must go about their daily activities while we wait for the advance country to get vaccine or during for the virus. |

Don't fall the victim, stay home. AmTruth: Some Nigerians across states of the Federation are coming hard on their government on reason that they must not shut down the state because their priority now is about food and economy which is understandable but not really about the spread of corona virus in allowing their State border within or without open.
The initial case was why did the federal government failed to close the border(Lock Down) both air and land? That everywhere must be closed. All nations across the world had initial challenge in closing their boarder hence all were attacked by the Corona virus which Nigeria is not an exception to such move.
Those who were agitating that boarder must be closed(Lock Down) and blame the Federal government can now calmly understand by the reason of still them, now telling their State government that the State must not be locked down.
The Question now is this, You told the Federal government that they must Lock Down to prevent the spread or disease and now you are telling the State government not to Lock Down because you don't Care about the spread of the virus.
Reasons you are resisting the Lock Down from State government are majorly partly reasons the federal government also delayed international lock down.
Some would ask,had it been the federal government lock down early enough the virus would not have come in? But we know certainly cry that would ravage the media had it been the Short down was done early enough.
Questions like why shutdown in depriving investors coming in and causing hardship to business activities, in short some would even tribalize it by saying it's because most of our people want to come home that's why they are shutting down. Do they want people to die there. Is it not better to die at home? Ah they are depriving people to come to their father Land. In short this is Wickedness and so on and so forth.
The Truth is that the Virus is here with us today. We have to accept the lock down within our state if truly our priority is to mitigate the spread as our concerns before when the federal government delay lock down of our international border. We know it's not easy, so we should not change our priority from the spread of the sickness to the present concern now of the economic or food.
I tell you the truth, it would be worse, handling both the crisis of Food and Sickness. Inasmuch as it's not easy I admonish us to bear this little while.
Because it is easier handling a hungry family than to handle a sick family. |
