Hmmmmn, seems you are new in the Nigeria general climate
viccipedia:
No one can hate Nigeria. I think you mean the government and politicians. What is Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Covid-19 Discharge Cases: Haters Of Nigeria Not Happy by AmTruth(op): 11:22am On Apr 12, 2020
So what is your solution, predicting the worse is not a solution.

When you encourage those at the forefront of this fight and also play your bit in ensuring that we prevail, that's the solution and not prediction of doom for the mere purpose to be satisfied with some grudge
viccipedia:
It will help you more to focus on the patterns and yeah, we need to pray too. Nigeria is even moving faster than some of the worse countries at the moment. There’s no time for this kind of posts really. Except you can see the future and you’re sure those numbers won’t triple at the end of the week.

It’s not only in Nigeria people are recovering. It’s all over the world. The spread and death curve of the virus is what gives cause for concern.

PoliticsCovid-19 Discharge Cases: Haters Of Nigeria Not Happy by AmTruth(op):
Despite the celebration of discharged cases of covid-19 patients who are now testing negative and reuniting with their families, the Haters of Nigeria are not happy with this wonderful news.

They keep Ridiculing and Audiolizing the good effort by our Medical practitioners and our government.

Just imagine that it was the other way round, where there are more death patients than the discharge. They will blow their trumpets to the high heavens to rain insults and abuses on the government and our health practitioners on how incompetent they are.

It's no more a new thing to many of us in Nigeria about some sect of people who wake up every day to wish and desire that bad things happen in our dear country Nigeria. So if they get the opposite of their wishes they begin to feel frustrated.

Despite the fair and successful fight of the virus by the government, they go across social media insisting and predicting worse situation to our dear country Nigeria.

No matter your hate, love always prevail and we shall certainly prevail.

God bless Nigeria!!!

Who get this pikin, so the entertainment industry is donating money to Dike to share to her neighborhood. When did she become the President or treasurer to the entertainment industry.

Someone using her personal hard-earned money you are here shouting donations.

The Op and whoever pushed this trash to the fp are APC agents. There's nothing like this in Ikeduru, no money is being shared. Why can't the APC op post a real video, instead of doctored and photoshopped pictures.
Even if it true, so out of over a million citizens of Imo, only 7200 were chosen. Based on obtaining APC membership form.

Bros, no agency has published any verifiable data of how , who and when they share these monies.
NASS asked this question and till date we have heard nothing.
Bros, is it the truth so hard to find like this?
Who in Nairaland can testify to these disbursements claimed to be going on for years now?
And then what's the impact and stochastic figures of it.
With empirical studies you can improve the how, who, when and where to share these monies.
I'm from the SE and won't mind if over 60% of these funds go to any part of the country needing it most but we all needs to be sure these monies are going to the right persons; the poor and downtrodden in the society

This program have been on ground before Covid19 inconjunction with the world Bank in determining the selection of the poorest.

Payment stop for like two months ago due to some challenges before Covid19 came up. President Buhari in his wisdom mandated that with the situation of things and emergency at hand such payment should be made and add two more months to it . It's 5k per month so 20k is for Four months.

The money is meant for the poorest they could accertain and the whole of IMO cannot be poor.
So don't expect everyone to get it. Even in US not every gets the bailout.

God bless Nigeria!!!

Presently other operators are flying. So the reasons about caverton by the state government is just childish. We have more than three operators in the state presently.

Let them shutdown every operator since they too are lifting people to offshore platforms and bringing in people.

Gasping for air is never something one should wish for himself when concern for food would never even be considered when it happened but to make provision for air to keep you to live first.

Let maintain stay at home for now even as it's not easy.

With what is happening in United States of America, it really shows that covid is real and scary.

Stay at home for now.

It's easier to live when hungry than gasping for air with a ventilator where food would never be a thing of concern anymore, but to have air and live.

Be wise

This is what most Governors in the Niger Delta are doing. Not the ones going about unproductive friction with the Federal government.

Governor Ayade is actively doing is part in developing the state with industry, Bayelsa State have been buying the rice seedlings produce from Cross River. Delta massively attracting some investors who are leaving Rivers State.

Akwa Ibom doing greatly.

Meanwhile Governor Wike is busy going about playing politics with everything. Apart from infrastructure which mostly been accused of centralizing in only Obiakpor his local government . Meanwhile everyone is doing infrastructure across state in the Niger Delta governor Wike cannot point to a direct state industrialization drive by his administration. Be it even I Agriculture

God bless Akwa Ibom State.

Here you come again, Southern stand with Wike and Enough of this Malam.

Your Statement have already define you, you people go about every where tribalizing everything you come across.

We have more than Four Governors in South South States, where as I am talking choppers are still operational lifting personnel to offshore platforms. They are not foolish.

South South don't wake up and support what is wrong. So keep your advice to your self because we are not Tribalistic.
MetaPhysical:
The mention of concurrent list and all that nonsense is to intimidate. The issue here has nothing to do with legislative power.

The state governor identified a public health issue and declared a safety guidelines to keep citizens safe and out of harm's way.

While I think Wike could have managed the issue with more maturity, the FG is condescending and talking down on him with arrogance.

There is nothing here pertaining to exclusive list....Wike has not issued any policy relating to aviation or flights. He has called for public safety, which he is authorized to invoke.

What commercial activities are these pilots engaged in that would offset the loss in oil revenue?

Sirika said Rivers is the biggest beneficiary of oil revenue. Really??

Thats new!!!

Are they pumping oil in North now?

All Southerners need to stand on Wike side.

Enough of these mallams talking any kind of way to people.

Wike needs to respect himself too and stop acting like an ex militant.

They find reason to talk to him like that after observing him talk to his own people recklessly.

Im sure they cannot address any Gov in West in that manner. Why address one in South like he is their houseboy?

Bullshyyyte!!

Not international flight, this is local flight.

And who told you that flying on air gives you automatic virus.

extol1:
it is not about the governor's action but in time like this where most people that fly on air are the carrier of this virus. that shows that there is something wrong with the aviation sector in Nigeria, how would you land in a state without informing the state of your arrival
PoliticsRe: Rivers Lockdown: FG Hits Wike; Police Commissioner, Air Force Base Commander In by AmTruth(op): 2:54pm On Apr 09, 2020
Niger Delta,we are not foolish. There are chopper flights around Bayelsa, Delta State,Akwa Ibom to different offshore platforms drilling and producing. The oil company are more safety conscious in Health and the environment, so they have already standard check against Covid19 better. Presently trucks conveying food and others raw material with drivers and motor boys are entering the state because they are exempted from the Lock Down.

Your likes can't incite us to do the the foolish things.

Wike should avoid playing and claiming over I too know which would not help the people of the state.
mrvitalis:
So national revenue is more important than that of over 6 million people in Rivers State ?

If Niger Delta don't push for regional government then they are foolish

Rivers lockdown: FG hits Wike; Police Commissioner, Air Force Base Commander in trouble

The Federal Government said on Wednesday that the two Caverton Helicopters pilots arrested in Rivers state by Governor Nyesome Wike over lockdown violation were duly authorized to fly.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Aviation Senator Hadi Sirika while briefing journalists in Abuja.
He said the state Commissioner of Police and the Commander of Air Force Base in Port Harcourt that witnessed the arrest of the pilots exhibited dangerous ignorance and lack of competence and would have to answer for their actions.

He said: “ We gave the arrested pilots approval to fly, civil aviation is on exclusive list item number three there. So no other person but the Federal Government has authority to legislated upon. So also is the Nigerian Airforce, Armed Forces are also on exclusive list, there is no other person that has the legal rights to legislate upon.”

“The Air Force officer who jumped the commander in Chief and ignored, also jumped the Chief of Defence staff and ignored who jumped the Chief of Air Staff and ignored, to call a governor to come into the property of the Federal Government of Nigeria to make an arrest, exhibited dangerous ignorance and incompetence grossly.”
“The police that followed the governor to go in there, exhibited dangerous ignorance from our perspective in civil aviation.”
“Whether we gave approval for the flight, yes we did and we did in national interest. All of these flights are for the purposes of improving the national revenue to which Rivers State is the greatest beneficiary.”

“Those flights by Caverton, Aero Contractor, Arik, Bristo and were for national interest and improved national revenue. At a time where oil has gone below $30 per barrel and the cost of production is $30.

r“In the wisdom of President Muhammadu Buhari he thought that this be allowed so that the nation will not be crippled and national revenue will not be lost. It was against this background that we have the authority and being exclusively on the exclusive list and we have the powers in civil aviation, guided by the Civil Aviation act 2016 approved such flights.
“Those flights were approved lawfully, legally and correct. So yes, we will do everything lawful and legal and reasonable to get those pilots back and operations will continue in national interest.
