They will only drool over this kinda post but will never see the ones where married women are crying and suffering in pain in their husbands house.

by the way, some women mumu sha. The lovely soul that committed suicide yesterday was someones wife. She was with her husband but that didn't stop her from ending it all yet some women think it's only with a man their existence can have meaning. Mumu singles everywhere.

Better you make good use of your singlehood because once you're in, its not always going to be the way you envisaged it. Men are not a source of a womans happiness or completeness. They are just an additional burden and threat to ones peace. Know this and know peace

In another 15 - 20 years, you will sing another song. Then, you will not have the opportunity to admit to the people you misled that you were dead wrong.

Politics / Re: Osinbajo Spotted At US Airport As Nigerians Commend His Simplicity by Amumaigwe: 12:55pm On Nov 06, 2023
TheRareGem1:

Nigerians on social media have commended Nigeria’s former Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON, saying he is living a modest lifestyle after leaving office.

Nigerians on social media have commended Nigeria’s former Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON, saying he is living a modest lifestyle after leaving office, concluding that his life has been an exemplary demonstration of humility.

This is coming at the backdrop of a post made on X (former Twitter) platform on Saturday, November 4 2023, by the publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, who narrated a testimony of an unnamed source about his wife’s encounter with Prof. Osinbajo at the Detroit Metro Airport, Michigan, United States of America (USA).

The source marvelled that the former VP only left office six months ago but had no security orderlies hovering around him. He praised Prof. Osinbajo’s humility and his simplicity which was reflected in the manner he related with his wife at the airport.

Dele Momodu’s post reads, “Former VP, less than 6 months out of office, at the Detroit Metro Airport, no security, no orderly, na him carry him back (bag) all by himself like any other traveller, my wife didn’t even recognize (him) until he showed is (his) Nigerian passport. Respect.” Unidentified Author.

They bared their minds in the comment section on X, describing Prof. Osinbajo’s simplicity as God’s gift while advising other past politicians to take after him.

Musa Jacob wrote, “Osinbajo’s simplicity while in office says it all, his leadership skills are natural, it is one that every politician must emulate. Without a doubt, the best ever to be, they know, we all know. It is obvious the world keeps pointing in his direction. Always representing humanity.”, wrote one

Likewise, Lakuli said, “Let’s give it to Osinbajo he has moved on graciously. Hope we all see the simplicity of a leader who is already carrying his regular Green passport not the Red Diplomatic passport he is still entitled to carry. Since 1999, no other VP comes close to Osinbajo’s record. Period!”

Another user commenting via Adewumi Collins described the former VP as being different from other Nigerian politicians, saying, “The former VP is a definition of humility and simplicity. He’s not like any other politician. When you understand life, you will live simply. That’s my leader.”

Then, Osagie Adams in his comment said, “Hey! Yemi… I miss you so much, sir. You were a face of hope to so many Nigerians, despite we didn’t have the chance to choose you because of the Godfathers in APC. Miss you, man. So far for me, you have been the best human to occupy the villa.”

In his view, Adelekan Adeoye described Prof Osinbajo as a good leader, saying, “A good leader does not need to go about with heavy security everywhere. The Prof is having a good time around the world,” while another passionate Nigerian wrote, “Keyword “Less than 6 Months after” wow. If you know a politician, advise them to make an impact in the lives of people why they are in office and they should stay humble.”

Another X user simply commented, “But you will see some former Rep and Senator going about with orderly”

It's just a complicated matter sometimes. Some abusive marriage latter became beautiful at the end. My pastor told us today how his sister fought for her marriage. At some point it was truly an abusive marriage that the man even beat her while she was pregnant and almost lost the baby. Fast forward, latter she became born again and so did her husband. They are now living peacefully ever after.
It's a gamble so decide how to play it.

Did your pastor tell you the reason why the husband abuses the wife? In that may lie the magic of their new found bliss. Leave born again, it is neither here nor there.

Dear Op,
My only advice for you is to make sure you're always busy...get your hands on something productive to make ends meet for yourself and son.

Watch the kind of company you keep... avoid downers and be optimistic.
If it were meant to be...he wouldn't have left irrespective of what might have transpired amidst you.

Appreciate your son... work on yourself...step up in every facet of life and be very careful going into another relationship in haste..... they've gotten nothing to offer than few minutes sex and cash... your son wouldn't be proud seeing you exchanging men.

Give it time... you'd overcome and attract the best man and things life had In store for you.

I wish you all the best Sis.

@bolded
This is the reason why women will continue to crash their marriages with eyes wide open and run to SM to lament.
"He wouldn't have left irrespective of what transpired amidst you" - including toxicity and infidelity?

That means that you ladies really think that the metalware you exchanged with your men on wedding day performs the same role as a handcuff. Unfortunately, those men you wrongly thought were in chains under your captivity can now break loose even before you could wink.

There is no healthy marriage anywhere unless where the man accepts to be at the mercy of his wife. Even so, she still gets tired of the simp over time and start desiring "strong" men in whose hands she will be maltreated. That is the convoluted nature of the female gender.

Exactly.

So you think whatever made the woman take the decision she did is not of a greater consequence?

No woman just wakes and decided to do something like that, and apparently, this man in question is an abuser who even beat her while pregnant one time.

After beating her, he sold his properties and sponsored her to UK for studies. Her lies would have been more difficult for you to believe if the man in question were your brother.

Politics / Re: What Is A Presidential Yacht? Countries With Presidential Yachts by Amumaigwe: 11:51am On Nov 02, 2023
sarkinbauchi:
A Presidential yacht refers to a vessel of a country's navy that would be specially used by the country's President. It is common for a vessel to be designated as the presidential yacht during a fleet review.

Some countries (below) have vessels permanently designated as presidential yachts:

List of Countries with Presidential yachts

Egypt
The President of Egypt has the eighth largest yacht, El Mahrousa, as his presidential yacht.

Finland
The President of Finland has a small private yacht, Kultaranta VIII.

India
The INS Sumitra is the presidential yacht of India.

Italy
The Italian ship Argo (MEN209) is the presidential yacht of Italy.

Philippines
Casiana (1936-1941), renamed Banahaw.
Orchid (1946-1948)
Dalisay (1948-1959), renamed Apo, Pagasa, and Santa Maria.
RPS Lapu-Lapu (1959–present), renamed RPS Roxas, RPS The President, RPS Pag-Asa, and BRP Ang Pangulo.

Graceful (2018–), the most recent presidential yacht. The Russian government also employing the special vessel named Rossiya which was built during the Soviet Union, and used in the internal waters. In 2003 ship named Burevestnik was commissioned to serve the Russia's leaders.[5]

Turkey

New presidential yacht – The Turkish Government has currently commissioned a new 50 m yacht for the personal use of the president and visiting heads of state. Details of this new yacht first surfaced in September 2008.[6][citation needed] The yacht is being built at the Istanbul Naval Yard, Pendik, Istanbul and is reported to have a ballistic hull, surface-to-air missiles and high-tech equipment.

United States
In the past, the United States employed presidential yachts serving the American president:

USS Mayflower (1906–1929), was decommissioned as a result of economy measures just prior to the Great Depression.
USS Potomac (1936–1945)
USS Williamsburg (1945–1953)
the most recent presidential yacht was USS Sequoia (1933–77).

Yugoslavia
The most famous is Galeb, the yacht of Marshal Josip Broz Tito.

Nigeria does not fall anyway close to that league. Those are mostly lender nations, while Nigeria is a borrower nation. The leader of a poor country ought not to have the same appetite with his creditors.

When I made a statement here on Nairaland that Peter Obi's political career is dead on account of the "YES DADDY" leaked audio, many OBIDIENTS came at me like wild dogs with all manner of insults. Here is Reno Omokri saying exactly what I said some time ago

Peter Obi can never ever be president because of that leaked audio. That audio went viral among the Hausa community and some even went as far as translating the audio into Hausa language. Also Peter Obi going to churches to campaign repeatedly and in some cases telling the church to "take back their country" also showed him as an ethnic and religious BIGOT who appears to be in the presidential race to undermine the growth of the Muslims.

For the records, I am not a fan of Reno Omokri but that shouldn't stop me from saying the truth

You are obviously a dependant. So in spite of the fact that the corrupt supreme court judges have finally gifted the presidency to Tinubu, who in turn has ushered in hopelessness that is plaguing the entire country as i speak, Obi is still your problem.

Family / Re: As A Man 5 important Reasons Why you Should Reconsider Marriage by Amumaigwe: 5:12am On Oct 28, 2023
KiNg0G:
Respect

Regardless of your wealth and financial status, not being married or having a family of your own will result in being seen as inferior. It's possible that they won't make it clear to you because you're driving a highly expensive Jeep at the age of 40 or doing some philanthropic work in the community but bet they say it in your back laugh when you are not around.

They might be several news reports of you being impotent or a ritualist even someone that can't afford to feed himself talkless is wife would be regarded as a better man than you in public as custom demands mostly.

Now think about this if a rich man can get this treatment from the society talk more of a poor man.

Doors of breakthrough

I have seen so many men who were struggling in the past, but as soon they got married doors of breakthrough start manifesting in their lives. Different connections through their spouse, not necessarily from her family but from friends and well-wishers. People you don't know before will come through just to see your union grow..The aura becomes fresh everything becomes easy and might just be surprised because you are on a new path.

My cousin is a case study, he was picked to canada by his wife elder brother best friend 2018 and he came back to pick his family with him.

Historical references

Bro, I know you have other siblings who are males to carry the family name and that don't bother you that much but do you know about family history? They might be a time as long you don't have any offspring to form your own line your existence on earth will be totally wiped off for future generations to come.

They might be a time in the future where the younger generations would want to trace their ancestors and mistakes will be made like "our fore father's only gave birth to 3 children which are these, these and these" but because you got no offspring you would be easily left out and that's false history. A tempered history. ( You can't blame them you left no foot prints.)

sudden demise

If you want to know how painful it is, is when a matured man dies and he is not married or with kids to call is own. It get more worst when his parent is still alive. The embarrassment the shame, he nor born o... Several questions and answers within people there wanting to know how he lived his life. Some would even refused to pay last respect talk more of attending the burial.

Take a walk to that bury ground and see how he's buried like a chicken most times especially if he's poor or from a poor background. Nobody prays to die quick bro, but I beg you to reconsider your decision.

Joy of fulfillment

Take me as a case study from one prostitutes to another, I am tired already but I can't stop that's just the problem and I am not ready to stop yet maybe in the future. I would like to experience a family of my own some day with kids around, little baby girls to call me daddy
daddy especially when she's learning how to speak with innocent smile on her cheek. Little babies to run along when they see me coming, just to take the package in my hand and takes it inside the house.
Come on bro? Who doesn't want a change? I do everyone does..

I am just here to encourage those elders out there in their 40s and 50s is not too late to reconsider, everyone has a choice but sometimes we need to sit and meditate if we are in the right path in our various lifes.
That's what makes us a man

Thank you

Since the perceived advantages of marriage highlighted in your write up all point either directly or remotely to just having offsprings, one can still have them without marriage. So??

Great job by Taiwo Oyedele and his team of patriotic Nigerians. These are bold audacious moves by the Asiwaju Tinubu-led Federal Government. This is absolutely brilliant!
