In applications where fluidity (free flow) is required. Thin oils are used. While thicker oils are used in high friction/resistance applications. It is never interchangeable. No matter what temporary gain it may bring. You are exposing your vehicle to more damage and mostly importantly people's lives. I strongly advice never accept such ill advise.
