I was made to understand there's no way to expedite BC in Virginia. Ur best bet is to go to vital records office @ Richmond (if u are in that axis) or go to DMV and apply and pay for the cert. and it will be sent 2 u.
In my own case, I went to DMV exactly 3wks and 2days after i filled d form @ d hosp and I got it (turns out it was ready 2days before)[/quote]

I called them last today, and they said it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process.
I used Henrico doctors hospital and filled the form the very day I had my baby, then paid for 2 copies with money order, all on the same day, which is more than 2 weeks now.

I don't understand what is happening in 2018. It's already 2 weeks and 2 days I had my baby, and nothing yet.

Same thing they told us in LA until someone suggested I call the county's department of public health to know when if it's ready. I did on the 5th day and it was ready. Had to find my way to downtown office to pay and collect it.
What I'm saying in essence is dat you need not wait dat long. Start calling in earnest. ..

Please, I had my baby 2 weeks ago in Virginia and is yet to get his birth certificate, was told it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get.

I have only 2 weeks more before returning to Naija. Please, how did you process your baby's birth certificate in less than 3 weeks?

Please people of GOD can anyone recommend a good Pediatrician for circumcision here in Houston? Had my baby at Oakbend. Or should I simply wait till we get to Nigeria? Baby will be 6weeks then. I shudder at the thought of the pain but I'm worried about doing it twice as I've heard not so good reports about circumcision done here. My brother's baby and my friend's baby had to be redone back home in Nigeria after first attempt here in Houston and El Paso respectively were not done properly... Not the same hospitals though.

Dear Mama's, please i need some clarifications on US Visa Renewal. In 2015, my Mum and Dad traveled to the US together.

When applying, they applied as a group with she as his dependent using his email address to book an appointment.

Fast forward to today, my mum is to travel alone to the US by January 2018.
After recalling her DS160 form filled in 2015, i got another DS160 confirmation number and updated it with her current details and was successful.

However the bid to schedule an appointment have been failing, whenever i try, it reminds me that her details have been booked with my Dad's email and should be routed through his mail.
Upon using my Dad's email, it comes off as though he is also travelling and usually request for 2 gtb visa fee reference number i.e my dads and mums.

I have tried to delete her as a dependent from my dads details on the "schedule an appointment page" and used another mail address to schedule an appointment for her, but i cant proceed cause it will always state that shes been booked with another email address which is my Dads.

Please, has anyone experienced this before? What do i do? Thank you Mamas for your response.

Hi guys, I read few of ur comments b4 heading with family 2day for the interview. I must say, it was just Gods grace, and thks to u guys too. I noticed they granted visas to elderly people and people who came as family. They really bounced young and single peeps. The VO didn't ask us much, went with my dad, mum and elder sis.

We- No
VO- asked my popsy, how long have u been self employed and if he was paying for us all?
Dad- 20yrs and yes, I am paying.

Infact, i am really grateful to God, because our passport's are virgin passport, never travelled outside naija b4. It was fast and wonderful.
