Hello everyone,am new here and i really do need your help!! Have been denied us visiting visa 3times,i applied with my husband in 2016 feb nd we were both denied, then i got invitation from my aunty in sept2016 which i got an agent to fill my d160 form and he changed my husbands name totally,to think i gave him the first d160 form (smh) and during the interview the VO asked if i was divorced,i was confused with the question tho i told her NO,so she asked if i filled the form myself and i said no,and she denied me that visa on the bases that i was to fill my form my self,I applied almost immediately and was still denied,SAD!! So it been a year now and am 27 weeks pregnant with the hopes of going to deliver my child in the us, hv paid the registration fee and even paid 1k doll upfront nd all documents hv been sent to me,anoda wahala now is that i hv a salon here in abuja Nd got a job with 98.3 hot fm this past December and am earning 150k,nd in my previous d160 form,i wrote that i was earning upto 300k in the salon, tho i still run my saloon but wanted i to fill my recent job in my form bcus i feel it a stronger tie, and is it adviceable to use my statement of acct or my husbands own, because am applying alone,nd 150k monthly cant pay my bills in the us and I don't knw how to tell dem i still run my salon, pls i need serious advice because i want to do everything right this time, plsssssss sombdy help!! |

MrsTerry1: I feel your salon gives you a better tie. It’s your own business.. a 150k job is equivalent to approximately $500/month. You can earn double that easily even with a minimum wage. You will have to explain why the name of your husband has changed twice. Otherwise, there is nothing saying you should not try again. 3 Likes |

TWoods:. Thank you very much for your response,my husband name only changed the second time because i trusted a stupid agent to fill my form,i corrected it and went back, yet was still denied. Am prepared to explain if asked.. so u think it better I use my salon? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by TWoods(m): 12:17am On Oct 02, 2017 |
MrsTerry1: Why not put both on your application. You can then put in your combined income. |

Please help. thank you. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Babatwi: 6:16am On Oct 02, 2017 |
MrsTerry1: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" that's my philosophy. I'll advice you to read this thread like you are writing exam on it and reapply, come clean this time around. You should fill your saloon business as your job since it gives you more money. You can go with both you and your husband's statement, your husband being your sponsor and yours just being an addition,in that case the funds in both account must be able to cover your budget.Your husband and your business can act as your tie to home country. Be truthful and be prepared to explain if asked about about husband's name in your last application. All the best. 1 Like |

Is it complusory for you to know someone over there? Because I don't and intend to stay on my own at a hotel till baby comes. My baby daddy might come later if he is able to make it off work. Is this an issue? I don't want the visa officer to bounce me o both in Naija and obodoyinbo. |

MrsTerry1: in the spirit of not giving up, read the thread over and over again like u are preparing for an exam. then reapply again and come clean as advised. Please note that sometime failure teaches success and at the end, u will have cause to thank God. Never give up no retreat no surrender. sometime pple will discourage u but never look at their direction. my advice is that also use whatever u think can increase ur chance |

Haaa baaa. Can't you read that she said she proceed to check in for her local flight to Houston. Better ask for hospital she is using in Houston. Lol ogemele: |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by drI: 11:28am On Oct 02, 2017 |
she says she is proceeding to Houston. I have some some research though on dallas when the hurricane in Houston was raging and I presume baylor scott and white in white rock appears to be the most affordable over there. someone mentioned medical centre of Dallas though. can't confirm that right away. Congrats on safe arrival Pls which hosp and dr are u using in dallas.[/quote] |

Omodadi2: I renewed recently. Nothing has changed significantly other than the fee (64k chaii) The only difference now is that when filling the DS 160, there is a last page that requires one to upload a picture. Previously one could bypass this step and bring a hard copy. Now, it is compulsory to upload a picture, and also bring hard copies along when submitting. Mine took 4 days. |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Omodadi2: 3:10pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
anonymousmum: Thank you very much. Did you go for interview? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by Babatwi: 3:40pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
Omodadi2: Renewal should be by drop box except your visa expired like 2 years ago, then in that case, you might need to go for interview. Anyways ,after submiting and you're about to book appointment for interview, you'll then find out if you are qualified for drop box 1 Like |

kazchick: No,it's not compulsory for you to know someone over there,if you take out time to read this thread thoroughly you will find out that a lot of people did as you are about to do. Just perfect your accommodation plans and have evidence eg hotel reservation printout or receipt 1 Like |
