How is it possible that you guys get much end users or is the problem from my domain having few end users?

I search on Google, yellow pages, yelp and duckduckgo still I don't get up to 50 end users.

When searching, e.g Dallas plumber, all this places would display results for dallas and other towns in Texas. So I check the site to see if they are actually based in Dallas. Or have you ever had any success selling a domain name for a particular city to another city just because they are in the same state?

What of business that have branches scattered across USA? Google would still bring them out as search result just because they have a Branch in that certain location you searched. Did you had ever had success selling to them?

I'll see plenty search result for the particular geo domain I'll search but I felt they aren't real end users if the fall into this two categories, or am I doing it wrong?

You're on point. It's not about the number of end-users you contact sometimes. Just like you, I take my time to open each individual website and check if their head office is actually situated in the city or location I'm out bounding to. I don't know for others, but I don't like disturbing person. I want to contact only people that my domain names will benefit.

Make my 3rd mail serve as a reminder for them to buy

4th mail to be sent after 6 months


And 5th and final mail to be sent a month before domain expiration (offering low price)

I started with a custom email but now using my Gmail as I get more deliverable rate using Gmail. If you're looking for a custom mail for Hunter, just type "temp email" on Google and start visiting the URL you see. I believe you'll be able to see one or two that Hunter will accept

Hunter/io use to crawl plenty emails, how do you know or chose the right one.

I mean for sites where the owners name is not mentioned and when you search with hunter it brings up several emails.

Do you send massage to all the emails?

Hunter makes things easy. If there are executives, I choose executives (all of them) plus support. And if the emails are not categorized, I simply the top 5 or more with the top trust score

Well, when I leave everything to the automation (bulk selection of emails), I didn't see much results. Plus, it was difficult detecting urls that didn't have emails in the returned result.

But when I started handling the whole thing manually, I had more results. More inquiries, and more sales.

WHY am I saying this? I know a lot of us do outbound. And, believe me, outbounding is another job on its own. To simplify the process, hunter can help out

Yes. They do. Although I prefer gathering the emails one domain at a time. What do I mean:

Say I was able to locate 50 prospect in my Google search. I will create a new lead in Hunter and name it anything I want (usually the name of the domain I'm marketing). Then, I will input each of the prospect domain name on Hunter, clicking on the (+) sign in front of each suitable lead.

I will continue this for all 50 prospect domain names.

WHY do I choose this? I could have easily input the whole 50 names and allow hunter to get the best emails for me. But hunter isn't too efficient in locating the best emails I think would respond.

Also, some domain names use (@gmail, @yahoo) as their contact email. Using Hunter solely won't return any info for these generic emails.

But after the hard work, you can be sure that Hunter will handle the while sending and followup (that's after you set it).

Plus, hunter tells you those people that opened your emails, bounced emails, and people that haven't checked your emails.

You have your leads stored on Hunter, which you can use for as long as you want.

I'm beginning to take domaining as a serious bizz now. Unlike previous years when I take it as a secondary job, this year is a lot different.

My first step is to subscribe to Hunter premium of 1000 credit for $49. I make use of the campaign and lead generation. I set my content (first mail and second mail) while hunter handles the sending for me.

This has made my work so easy. If you have the means, I advise hunter premium for everyone into outbounding.

For those of you who use custom email address for outbound, how do you beat the spam trap?

Was sending out emails yesterday. At first, they were being delivered well. But later on they started landing in spam. I sent to an old gmail account of mine and it landed in spam, with the reason being because the mail was similar to those detected by gmail's spam filter.

It would seem though that the issue is only with gmail. I'm not sure other web and corporate mail addresses flagged my mail as spam (not sure. Just hope they didn't).

What do you think? Please, share your thoughts and experience in this.

More reason I reverted to Gmail. Gmail is the best way to get most of your sent emails to the inbox. I regret not knowing this for a long time. Maybe I would have sold more names then.

My advice: use your regular Gmail account

ClearBit does a great job at doing the email extraction for me.

If ClearBit can't get it, then I use the recommended by iyke which is Google "email enduserdomain.com" or I use contact form or whois.com

How Does clearbit work? Is it similar to snov or hunter?

Snov. io has been a reliable tool for me, I prefer it to Streak. Snov is cool for both email fetching and email tracking.

As for your email tracking... I was made to believe that Snov also adds my email views to the total counts.

I tried snov last two months but didn't like the experience. My going for snov was to fetch emails, which is a little difficult. Snov, unlike hunter, brings a lot of guess work with the real email. Say, for instance, I tried searching for the domain name "squeeze brez" if I enter the full URL, and the name of the CEO is John Dick, stove will give me emails like: jdick@sq.., john@sq...and so on.

This makes it so difficult to know which email is genuine. Hunter, like I said, will give you the exact email with a green circle to indicate that the email "may" still be in use.

I don't mind paying the extra money on hunter. They make searching for names for easy

When outbounding, Do you copy and paste the websites, owner names, emails and phone numbers into a spreadsheet to make sending followups easier?
(This is what I do, but it seems it takes too much time and I'm thinking of stopping it).
Or you simply send and move on.

And if you just do "send and move on," when it comes to sending followups, that means you now go and search out the websites all over again and resend it to them, right?

I use to copy out the website into a book before, but not anymore. Gmail takes care of that for me. I just write the domain I'm outbounding and the date I sent the 1st mail. When it's time to follow up, I just go to my sent mails on Gmail and search for the domain name (usually my domain name is the title of the message). I hope this help a little.

When outbounding, do you guys try to find the name and actual email address of the owner of the website?
Or you just simply use any email address or contact form that is available on their site and move on.
Because me I try to see if I can find the name and exact email address of the owner of the site, by googling around, and that chops a big lot of my time. Imagine doing this for every website you see, and you are outbounding to like 60 websites for 1 domain name.
So I'm thinking of stopping doing that.

First of all, I use hunter.io to save time and effort. I just copy the URL in the search bar of Hunter and it does the rest for me. As for websites I can't find on Hunter, I visit individually and send a message to the general inquiry (info@, service@, sales@...) website.

Personally, I have more replies and sales with those general website, so no point looking for ceo or other top dog's email
