Sorry I am just responding as I am just seeing this.
I think the way I was able to get in fast was because I had industry knowledge and sounded like a professional even though I was just starting.
First, you need to sound like a data professional in your field, then also have solid understanding of the industry, parameters and KPIs.
Lastly, you need to show evidence you have done something similar in the past that can convince people you can deliver.

Dbt is a great ETL tool. One of the best for the pricing it offers.
Looker on the other hand is also a great tool but it doesnt fascinate me personally.
Dbt is also gaining popularity and so many coys are using it as we speak.

It is all about knowing the right words to say and how to word your responses.
They just need a rational explanation not necessarily a factual one.

Tell them in concise words that the money is for a business project.
If it is Naira to Naira, you have no problem but if it is Dollar to Naira, it might be tricky.
You can tell them you sold your car that you are into the car dealing business and the money was for cars bought from you.
You can also say it was for a business project if you know your way around projects..
Ask further things here if not sure of ehat to do.

Stop pushing lies as narratives.
I worked in CU for a couple of years and i can tell you that those pastors are underpaid.
When you want them to work, you say it requires hard work, but when it is time to pay them, you say it is a ministry.
I can tell you of a senior Pastor in Canaan Land now that when he wanted to hire his P.A, he made sure the church was not the one that paid him but he paid the guy from his pocket because the church pay structure was rubbish and pathetically low.
I can give you names if you want.
How much are admin officers(Non-CU Graduates) in Covenant University paid?
How much are members of Staff of SBUs (Cafeteria, Shopping Mall etc) staff paid??
You say you are a big giver and a prosperity ministry but you cannot show the ministry of giving in how much you pay your workers.
You pay workers and church worker peanuts and say you are a giving ministry. Stop capping Nonsense abeg.

Let me drop this gist here. I am currently working as a Data Analyst. I started in 2019 and i have moved across 4 jobs with the one i am in now as the 4th one. Data Analytics pays a lot if you so good. Learn Python(Preferably) or R, then PowerBI or Tableau or Google Data Studio. Also Excel knowledge and SQL knowledge will help you a lot. If you can use 6 months actively working on learning and practicing Data, you will be so good.
Lastly, understand business knowledge too and how it works with data. Data analytics is useless without Domain knowledge.
I also should tell you that you become better at Data Analysis by analyzing data not by watching videos on analyzing Data itself.
What develops your muscles is actually wrangling data, exploratory analysis, thinking analytically and getting insights from data. So while you watch videos, also practice daily.
It is a promising career with many companies looking for sound Data Analytics professionals.
