Dont tell me the pictures above are the "high-rise' building the facebook poster is talking about?

The poster is even using it as a yardstick to measure success. He was codedly advicing the southern-kaduna residents to engage in anti-government, cut all alliances and be dependent, become useless and insignificant in national politics and in the peak of things. All these atrocities and treasonable acts, just so that they can have 'High-rise' building like the one above. grin

I mean, at this point one may think this is a skit. Stop glorifying mediocrity. Just look at him even basking in its glory with pleasure.
You are bitter because nobody is glorifying brown roof cities in your region grin grin bitter man

This one no be governor matter. Business is booming and the common man is making serious money and everywhere is being built up fast
In Anambra state the citizens are far richer than the state government, the wide developments in the state it will be hard for the state government to meet up, Awka is filled up neighboring towns are now witnessing massive developments, go to Nwafia, they have turned that place to container bounded terminal hub more than five terminals are ongoing there simultaneously, go to Ogbunike/Ogidi, another industrial layout, Don Climax will soon commission another bounded terminal he just completed, go Nkwelle, Nzugbe,Oba, Ozubullu and so many towns massive developments, no place you buy land in Anambra is a waste, with the ongoing facelift of Ekwulobia the state is heading to one city state

The Onitsha praise singers think everyone here is a dunce. Dirty, stinking Onitsha that looks like a war zone is what they are comparing with Enugu, Asaba and Owerri. Another clown is here disgracing his lineage by comparing Onitsha to Port Harcourt.

To many jokers on this forum.
You are very silly by saying Onitsha is sticking, Onitsha is well planned city, best schools, industrial hub, international markets, good hospitals, layout for low income, middle income and high income

Bia nwokem no be fight abeg. I am from okpuno and i know onitsha very well. Enugu is a much cleaner, organized, well laid city than onitsha. I don't know much about asaba because i only go through asaba on my way to Lagos.
Personally, i don't like going to onitsha except when it's absolutely necessary.
I understand your argument but onitsha could be better.
My point is that Onitsha can be like Enugu or Asaba both are state capital, it just like comparing Lagos Island,Iyanoba, Apapa to Ikeja or Ikoyi, how many people dey Enugu capital or Asaba when compare to Onitsha metropolis, they should be comparing those capital to Awka, Anambra is not a one city state ,every part of the state is developing just like Lagos, they should understand that first imagine if the state government deploy all the fund they are spending developing under areas to Onitsha metropolis only The are trying their best with the second Niger bridge which is super infastructure will give more to Onitsha and it expansion.

All that one is just pictures. Go on YouTube, search for YangaLife. That YouTuber covers the whole cities of SE and Asaba. He does over 50mins drive round every city he covers. Honestly only Enugu, Owerri (to some extent) and Asaba look decent. The rest look like dump yard.
You should also hand yourself when WASOBIA FM brought many artists to perform in Onitsha

He still does not know that both Enugu and Asaba enjoy better public infrastructure than Onitsha.
Onitsha that's dirty, unorganized, lack good roads, buildings looking rusty, touts and criminals on every street, gra with nice buildings, but the environment looking horrible with no roads. I can go on and on.
Anu which better infastructure do they enjoy, envious mind Enugu city and Asaba are both capitals Onitsha is a commercial and industrial city

We're talking about Onitsha itself as a city, just like Enugu (the city) and Asaba are cities.

Awka is cool, but that's a different city.

You obviously don't understand or you're not objective. Onitsha needs a touch of Enuguness or Asabaness to be complete. Those who understand, understand.
Which touch Enugu of and Asaba are you referring to Asaba and Enugu can't never be like Onitsha, you should understand what makes them different first, Onitsha is a commercial and industrial hub that serve both cities you mentioned, how can it be cool Do you consider population in Onitsha, how many hotel do you see in Onitsha, or Nnewi, that's why Awka is there for leisure and relaxation.

Onitsha needs 'a touch' of Enugu or Asaba and then it would achieve it's rightful greatness. If you understand, you understand.
Onitsha metropolis is bigger than both cities you mentioned, and it's a commercial and industrial city, Awka is there to play the role of Enugu and Asaba

Who in their right mind would want to bring their investment to Iboland where Mondays are enforced "sit at home" days, and you risk kidnap and beheading for non-compliance?

What do we do about that exactly even if it true? The bigger, the headache in term of fradulent activities and fake products exchange. Does it have international market influence like that of Lagos? Can somebody returns home safely after making purchases without Ipob/esn lay ambush? Can market be opened on Monday? If those questioned can be answer holistically, why won't I think of coming there to buy?
You're ignorant do you know it's easier for a business man in Abuja, middle belt states, Southsouth to come to Onitsha to purchase goods than Lagos, many neighboring countries comes to Onitsha markets, one of the markets known as Main Market is the biggest market in West Africa
