Nobody should be vexed over SGF position. Senator Pius Anyim was there for four years, I'm still trying to figure out what he took home.
Aminu Saleh was there for years, go and ask his people what he did for them if they won't stone you.
Yayale Ahmed was SGF for years too, that's if his people don't spit on him.
Ufot Ekaette was SGF for eight years. Please go and ask his village people what he brought home...the dude only got his frontage tarred.
The only people that benefit from SGF are the president and politicians, not the masses. We should stop flogging it.
If appointment does not affect the lives of others, It is completely useless. Yoruba people were sidelined by the immediate past government of Goodluck Jonathan even though the whole southwest overwhelming voted for him in 2011 but the Yorubas didn't cry because their lives don't depend on the government. Appointments should not be about ethnicity butt competence.
Nowhere in the federal character principle says one must be from a particular group in a particular setting.
It didn't say a particular group must get so and so position.
It does not even tell the President what to do. The President decides how to place them to fit in. There's still room to accommodate all. Not a particular post
By constitution, every state must produce a Minister but it doesn't tell the President what portfolios to give them.
If you even go by geopolitical zones, then the Southwest should even be the one complaining.

Let him appoint all the ministers from the south if they will have Nigeria as the focus and work for it's development.
Pious Anyim did nothing specific for the south and I don't expect Babachir David Lawal to do anything specific for only the north.

I didn't vote Buhari to get someone from my state or my village a big post. I voted him to change Nigeria by massive reduction in corruption. Improvement in all sectors of development and uplifting the quality of lives of the generality of Nigerians. I will assess him at the right time .
